Never ever again! Made an appointment for this past Sunday at 1:30 for a nail color change as I got two different colors a few weeks before. I waited almost 25 minutes to get it done as they were backed up. . They literally refused a walk in ( for a mani / pedi) as I was there for a color change ....however took a a "favorite " customer " in front of me to do nail fills and a pedicure minutes later. Do not go here!!!! Helen ...the owner knew I was upset waiting as I told her I had to go and I had and hour time limit.....it took an hour and 10 to finish me. I had a good experience the first time ...but...I paid 36$ for a nail change and will never go back!!! She was so nervous and didn't know what to say but nonsense.! Do not be nervous !! . . Wonderful massage by Helen in a lovely Setting on the lake. I love her technique. She knows how to get the knots out with long slow full muscle strokes and varies the pressure just right. All the nail salons I've been to in Southeastern Mass this one is by far my favorite. The people who work there are so nice and accommodating. Offering tea or ice water upon arrival. They have a big glass window that covers one side of the building and overlooks the water. All manicure and pedicure chairs face that direction and they play Coffee House Music. It is very relaxing. Their prices are very comparable to everywhere else and often times even less expensive then most the places I have been to and the Taunton Raynham area. Truly a Hidden Gem. I have never left unsatisfied. Their work is always very nice and neat and it lasts. I have yet to try the facials or the massage but it is definitely on my to do list! read more

1st visit.I got a gift certificate for $100.00 for Christmas. I needed a pedicure and full face wax for New Year's Eve so..it was time to use my gift. They were able to make a same day appointment. I was a little early, but did not have to to wait long. They have an impressive selection of nail polishes to.chose from. ( I just like my OPI " affair in red square" so I brought it with me.) The place is huge, great lake views. Clean,and the staff and owner were kind. Very reasonably priced. I will go back and probably bring my mom. read more

Only recently did I discover Helen's Spa, it's a hidden gem in Norton. I get gel manicures regularly, every 2-3 weeks. I wasn't happy with the spa I had been going to and one of my friends mentioned that she had recently gone to Helen's. I booked an appointment immediately. There's a boutique in the front room, and the spa is in the second room. The reception area is really cute and comfortable, unlike any nail salon in the area. The polish selection is great (I went with an OPI for my toes and one of the mood changing gels for my fingers). My favorite part is all the huge windows overlooking the lake. All the nail stations face this way, it makes for a very relaxing manicure. The pedicure chairs are very comfortable. The best part about Helen's might be the staff. My appointment was with Tan, he was very personable. Everyone that walked in was a regular, or treated as though they would soon become one. Tan offered me a drink, held friendly banter, and was great about asking whether I liked the shape of my nails, if the hot stones were too hot, etc. Very professional and friendly. I didn't feel rushed in and out the door, Tan really took his time with my service and it was extremely relaxing. The best part? The services are so inexpensive!! Book in advance to receive a 10% discount, my pedicure was only $20, gel manicure $23. I recommend booking, not only for the discount, but they seemed really busy when I was there. I moved to Norton a year ago and this is my new spot for manis & pedis. I live down the street so it's incredibly convenient. Helen and the rest of the staff are so nice. They always do a great job. They have a great selection of colors. And the view! I was there the other night getting my nails done, and I watched the sunset. Love it... so relaxing. read more

If there were 10 stars I'd give them all to Helens spa. Tan is the nail technician I go to. He is wonderful. Everyone there is happy smiling, laughing. Too much fun. While having your nails done, you look out onto a lake with swans floating by! So relaxing. Helen does facials and massage. She is excellent with facials. A definite must! I have yet to try the massage, but I know it will be outstanding. Don't go to those fast in and out places. They don't care about you they just want the cash. Go to Helens spa, excellent service, even a cup of tea! read more

I used to love this place (my mother, sister and I used to call this our go to) but the last time I went I was extremely disappointed. Was so rushed and the woman forgot to put top coat on my nails that while I was at the drying table, she crawled under the table to paint it on. So awkward. To top it off, she didn't screw the nail polish cap on tight enough and now there's a thick, red blotch on my car seat. My neighbors and I agree that the service has gone way down hill and the place needs to hire more people or a receptionist since both Helen and her staff are so distracted by running the nail salon. Super sad- the place is immaculate, beautiful view, and I miss the peppermint massage oil but it's not worth it. read more

I am a little surprised by the bad reviews. 1. ANY nail salon can mess up or mis-hear a reservation name/time. In this day and age, cell phone still get static-y and when someone is talking on one, you can be hard to hear. 2. I am still confused as to why nail polish is on some one's car seat. Did you bring your own? Why didn't you check the cap before throwing it on a car seat?? I have been going to Helen's for quite some time. 1. Very nice staff. 2. Very reasonably priced. 3. Great chairs for pedicures. 4. Eyebrow waxing /sculpting is great - the ladies all do a great job w/shaping. 5. Clean/aseptic technique well adhered to. Two things to be aware of: 1. Tips are CASH ONLY - so that can be a bit embarrassing if you didn't know; I had my checkbook once, luckily so that averted a crisis one day. Now I have to plan ahead. (It was not always like that). 2. The smell is a very strong nail salon smell - I do realize I have an extra sensitive nose from chemotherapy, but I find it to almost be nauseating some days - again - it's to be expected, but I wish it was a bit less pungent. I think Helen and her employees do a great job and they are all very nice. Again, you can't beat the price -- the pedicure like this could run over $50 in some areas ... Massage up to the knee, hot stones, and massage chair ... All well worth it!! read more

I called in advance since my normal nail tech at another salon couldn't take me, and specifically asked if they had anyone good with long nails. (I have long coffin shaped acrylics). I was told that "anyone" there would be able to do my nails. The girl taking care of me asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and I said "only a little"... she drilled them down significantly, and cut me SEVERAL times with the drill/file. I was bleeding, and she proceeded to put acetone on me not even avoiding the cuts (ouch!). She said I just have "very soft skin"... well my normal nail tech has never once cut me and I have had my nails for a year. My polish came out splotchy and my top coat is uneven... not to mention my coffin shape is a mess and my nails aren't even the same length! when I accidentally smudged one, she just put more top coat over it (you can still visibly see the smudge, wow thanks..) I paid, and still tipped... but I surely will NEVER trust this salon with my acrylics again. They seem to be better at regular gel manicures and pedicures... read more

My mom and I have been going here for awhile now and I haven't had a bad experience until now. I called to make an appointment yesterday for today and come in today and they tell me my appointment is for Monday. Not only did they screw up the day they screwed up the names on the appointment. Then the guy laughs at me and asks if I called the right place, when I had the number in my call log. The lady brings over the book and tells me it's not fair to the other walk ins if they took us When we had an appointment that THEY screwed up. She asks us to stay til 530 and I say "I can't I have a newborn baby at home" and she looks at my stomach like she didn't believe me. Come to find out the owner was the one who basically pushed us out. I do not and will not recommend this place to anyone anymore. read more
