I went a few years without getting acrylics on my nails. But I was recently in a wedding and I wanted long nails so I went ahead and got them done at a different nail salon in Stoughton. Needless to say, I had to remove the acrylic nails after one week because it had become painful to my nails beds. I did a horrible job removing the acrylics at home! So, my nails needed to be rescued but I couldn't think of any nail salons around where I live that would get the job done right. Thank heavens I drove by Fancy Nails and decided to take a chance and come inside. I didn't even check Yelp for reviews - and I always check Yelp! I was desperate to get a simple, natural, no fuss manicure so my nails could stop looking like alien nails. I didn't have an appointment but I was seated in less than 5 minutes and the ladies got to working on my nails (Yesss!!) The color I picked did not exactly look right on my nails though. So I let the lady working on my nails know that I didn't like it since it was too dark and I wanted a more natural look. She (sorry, i forgot to get her name) then understood exactly what I wanted and picked the most perfect color for my nails. At the end of my manicure, I got a little card which she stamped twice (even thought this was only my first time there!); so after a few more manis, I get one free. Everyone there was super friendly and I walked out with a big grin and beautifully rescued nails. I will absolutely be coming back here!! read more

first starters i never write reviews unless i feel necessary and i also only ever go to a salon to get my nails done maybe once every year or 2. i just moved and after reading all the lovely reviews i was SO excited this place was only a 5 min walk from me. im going on vacation so wanted to try something different and fun on my nails. i walked in and even though i was the only one there was greeted very rudely like i had interrupted them. i showed a simple design photo from pinterest of something i wanted and they both laughed at me, tried telling me my nails were too short even tho theyre the same length as the person in the photo, then straight up told me no! i shouldve left but didnt really have time to go somewhere else so i stayed and asked for just a regular french manicure to play it safe. at the end he seriously said to me that it looks so much classier than what i wanted anyway... which was just a french manicure with neon colors! not the best work either the lines arent smooth/even at all and was definitely not worth $40. i tried to give them a chance but i left so disappointed. side note- i dont typically care about looks or go for the fancy and extravagant salons but this place was by far one of the dirtiest establishments ive ever been in. read more

Arrived an hour before they closed, after being turned away by another nail salon (luminous nails) because they wouldn't take me during their final hour for a mani and pedi. D's took me for a mani and pedi with a smile on their faces and the woman who did my nails still took her time and took care of me. I was just happy that they were going to do my nails but after... the quality of my mani and pedi was just amazing! Thank you guys so much! Super happy!! read more

There was a wait when I stoped in yesterday around 4:30pm and I thought about going to another local place but decided to stick it out and I'm very happy I waited. Linda did a pedicure and manicure for me. I have very sensitive feet but she was gentle , didn't pull and try to bend my feet/toes in uncomfortable positions and she took her time. It was one of the best pedicures I have ever had. The inside of the shop is small and could use some updating but the place was very clean and all the tools were sanitized and wrapped. The files and toe spacers were all new. Each tub and chair was scrubbed down good before it was used for the next person. Their pricing is reasonable, it was $37 for a pedi and mani with hot stones and wraps. The place was formally another nail salon and was purchased a few months ago so I'm sure they will invest in the space and "pretty" it up some. read more

I never write reviews, but I don't want anyone else to suffer. So I had a day off and wanted to stop somewhere quick and easy between errands to get a pedicure for an event this summer. Being in a rush was I guess my first mistake because I stopped here. It looked a little bit dingy inside but mostly clean. I was then one of two customers in the place, two staff members were out in the front. I only had to wait a few minutes to get a chair, then had to wait for someone to start working on my pedicure. The man there came over to try and help get things started by cutting/filing my nails. He didn't grab a kit that was sterilized, instead started working on them with a file that was visibly used on someone else. I was irritated to say the least. He then hurriedly finished up when another customer walked in in order to give her a manicure. She didn't have an appointment either but somehow took priority over me and I had to wait for the woman who was already doing a manicure. When she came over she grabbed a kit of sterilized tools so I know that they do use them hopefully most of the time. To make it EVEN BETTER though, a couple months after this visit I now have fungus on my toe nails (which was the last straw for me to write this)!!! I have not gone to any other salon since so I KNOW it was from D's. Please save yourself and just pick another salon for your manicure/pedicure needs! read more

Called and they had an opening for me. The ladies here are amazing, and their work is incredible. They were so patient with me, couldn't choose a color so they out a few on for me too look at. The place is so clean and all the girls are so kind and do an great job. I got the natural soothing pedicure and my feet have NEVER been so soft and smooth - even with paraffin. My first visit ever today to fancy nails today and Linda was Awesome!!!! I got a Gel Manicure and it looks great, i will be back soon in 3 weeks as i live down the street from here. I was previously going to fantasy nails in abington and i guess after visiting fancy nails it was revealed that my nails were treated horribly at fantasy nails. I was also told that they were done improperly. What i love about fancy nails is that they are very family oriented. They introduced me to their whole family and i shook all their hands. Linda my nail technician, i loved the most...she is a perfectionist just like me. I like to find different artistic designs online and see if they can do them and Linda copied the one i wanted no problem. At the end my nail session they put aromatherapy oil over my hands and wrapped it in hot cloths and it felt spa like, excellent place. read more
