​​​I booked a mother-daughter appointment in advance because I wanted to enjoy a special pedicure day together. When we arrived, we were both seated, and my service began right away. However, instead of honoring my daughter's appointment, staff repeatedly took walk-in clients who arrived after us. By the time my pedicure was finished, my daughter was still waiting. A technician finally started her service, but shortly after, another client walked in and again staff prioritized the new arrival. Even after I requested the manager, I was told someone was "finishing up" and would take care of her -- yet more walk-ins continued to be served before her. In the end, I completed both my pedicure and manicure while my daughter was still waiting. We left and went somewhere else. This was meant to be a special mother-daughter experience, and it was extremely disappointing to see appointments not respected. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to friends, family, or business associates. read more

I love this place so much! They are so friendly and the whole experience is super easy. I love being able to book online. I've seen a few different nails techs now and they're all wonderful. The salon is beautiful and SO clean inside. They give you juice in a flute glass when you sit down, very tasty, makes you feel pampered. The prices are very reasonable. I come to Exotic pretty often and to be honest it's pretty hit or miss. For example today, I guess they were on a wait, but this was never communicated to me so they had my feet in water for an entire criminal minds episode with commercials. I was originally going to get a manicure and pedicure but ended up only getting the pedicure bc I had already been there for an hour and a half. My mother finished an entire pedicure and gel manicure before I was even done. Really upsetting I would've put my name on a list and waited or gone the next day than had my feet shrivel in water for 40 minuets. Would recommend calling but they don't communicate waits over the phone well either. All together 3/10 experience. read more

This salon has a nice ambience but the nail techs aren't that good. This was such a bad experience, crooked and splotchy nails + terrible nail art. I know it was probably because it wasn't that busy, but the ladies in there are super friendly and made my first experience with them amazing! Lots of colors to choose from! The woman who did my nails, paid a great deal of attention to make sure my nails were the right shape I wanted, because I like my nails short. Came in for a fill, usually come here no issues, but as one of the women were shading down my gel polish she wasn't paying attention and sliced all the way around my finger tip. So disgusted right now with how I was just treated.LESS THAN ONE STAR. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly woman who told me it would be 10 minute wait for service. I explained to her that I only wanted one hand done and why and also asked how much at that time. After waiting for nearly 30 minutes I was seated by another tech. I explained that I only needed one hand done and why. She then tried to upsell me on gel polish, when I declined she suggested that I do dip "because it's healthier for your nail", to which I said, no thank you, again. I simply wanted tips and acrylic on one hand only, both hands polished. She sneered at me and said something laughing to the tech next to her. I asked her if she was talking about me and she said she asked the tech how much that was going to be. I did not believe her, it was clear to me that she had an issue with my request and my unwillingness to be upsold to more expensive services and that she was mocking my request. This is what I would like all of these nail salons with employees who speak second languages to understand. While I am an educated woman and yes I speak 2 languages, I do not need either to know when someone is making fun of me. Most people can read cues and can tell when we are being mocked or ridiculed even if it IS in another language. Please understand that while you may judge your customers, take some care to not do it in front of us and other customers as well.I do not need to spend my hard earned money in a place that will treat me like this and neither do others. You are in business because we spend our money at your place. That is a choice that we make, if you can't treat everyone with respect and be professional than you should go into a profession that does not include serving the public. I would never use my second language to degenerate, mock, or exploit another person. If you want to do this please at least wait until you are alone with your co-workers and out of sight of other customer who are also not oblivious to what you are doing. read more

I have always come to see Julie here. She and Kathy (who recently opened another salon I can't wait to try) have always been NOTHING but amazing. This salon did my whole wedding party a few years ago...after hours... so we could all be done together! They were amazing...I'd like to address the comment about an abrupt male technician...I'm not sure of his name, but I do believe he is no longer there and I know EXACTLY whom you speak of. Odd. Somewhat abrupt. Not a good representation of all the other technicians there. I really think you should give it another try. They are truly amazing, and love their customers and also love their new customers they make when they have walk-ins. I feel impelled to write this review tonight because...I waited too long to get my SNS DIP redone. Close to 4 weeks, when it should be 2-3. I am a teacher and we have our students graduation tomorrow, I planned to call Julie in the morning for an appointment tomorrow afternoon...until I broke 2 nails while moving furniture ‍...I called her at 5:45pm, and she told me to come right down despite closing at 7!!! I usually love this nail salon because of the quality of their work and how awesome the girls are who work there. I went in for a pedicure (Honey Tea Pedicure) because it included a paraffin treatment. The man doing my pedicure was kind and tried to make conversation, however I found two remarks he made during my pedicure truly turned me off to this salon. The first, is that he stuck his tongue out at me feet when he was scrubbing them, and in my history of getting pedis no one has ever done this and I've been told my feet are beautiful. The second, is during my paraffin treatment (which I paid extra for) I noticed he took the treatment off sooner than other technicians have in the past; the female technician next to him obviously noticed the same thing and said, "I would leave it on longer", he shrugged and said "Ehh, same thing". This should not be the standard of service, I will return to this salon, but I will be requesting another technician. UPDATE: Today I came here with my cousin to get polish changes on our toes. The same gentleman, who I described in my first review has not changed his demeanor. As we were sitting in the drying station we saw a moisturizing oil in front of us; usually if there is lotion or products in this area it is for customers to use. As we sampled the oil I was taking a picture to search online at a later time because the oil was a nice quality. As I was doing this, the same gentleman walked over and said "Oh you like?" I responded by saying, "Yes this smells awesome"; he grabbed the oil from my hand and walked away. This is the second time I've been rudely treated by this employee, and this is the LAST chance I've given this salon. I will NEVER be back, I can find a salon where I am not treated with such disrespect. read more

I was searching for a new salon to get a pedicure. Some salons have cheap prices and skimp on service. Some have incompetent employees who have cut my skin several times in the past. This place has neither. The tech who worked on me was careful and took her time. She did a great job. I went there for the first time today and I was nervous. Someone on Facebook recommended that salon. This place was great!!!! I am so happy with the level of skill and the prices weren't too high. Definitely recommend to anyone. I only had a pedicure so that's all I can speak for. read more
