Honestly, I hate to write bad reviews but this was warranted. I got my nails and toes done with gel x and within 5 days the gel was splitting and cracking off. Within 2 weeks of the manicure and pedicure all the gel came off all my nails and toes. The gel was poor quality and was peeling off my nails and toes far too quickly. I was always told that gel x stays on for at least a month and this didn't say on for 1 week. read more

Like many others, finding a consistently good nail salon had been a challenge... Until I stepped into Hello Bella. From that point on, Hello Bella became my go-to nail place. I'm quite easy when it comes to a manicure -- trim/shape and slather on some gel, please. No designs, but maybe an additional color or two to change things up :) I prefer to call for appointments to make sure I get in/out on time. Everybody that I've met and worked on my nails has been great, but I request Tony/Ivy for the manicures just because they have coincidentally been the ones usually working on my hands. If your favorite tech isn't available, I wouldn't worry too much because everyone is very skilled and meticulous at Hello Bella. Parking has never been a problem for me, either. (Hello Bella is located in the same plaza as The Godfather) Before the pandemic, they used to hand out bottles of water and packs of rice crackers, which was a nice touch due to how long your nails might take. Omg I found my new favorite and go-to salon. I've been living in San Diego for ten years so I've been to most every popular salon there is but this will be my new go-to place. Get whatever you want, no pressure at all!!" and I was floored by her genuine kindness and sweetness 2. ZERO wait time. I called on my way, they said that I could be seen in 15 minutes. Walked in and sat RIGHT in a massage chair (which BTW was incredible) 3. THE QUALITY!!!! I love the quality of my nails, but plus the foot/leg massage from Ann made me want to die of happiness and relaxation. And I only got the spa package and it was hands down the best massage I've ever had Seriously, don't waste your time at other places. I desperately needed my toes trimmed and made an appointment to see Tiffany . I was worried about my toe nail that curled. She was very kind, and assured it was nothing to worry about. I chose from the menu basic pedicure which was $30. She sat down and clipped them, cleaned them and buffed my hard callused heals until they were gone. All was left was nice, gleaming toes and heals. Her technique was gentle and she gave my calves a nice massage. Would definitely go back again. Definitely worth going to see Tiffany again. Maybe next time I will try to add some picture art. Came in on a Tuesday @ noon. As a walk in... the owner was able to get me seated ASAP! No waiting @ all. There were six techs in the shoppe when I walked in and four were already engaged. Pedi * Nail Tech: Ivy. This is the very first time I ever dipped my feet in the tub and the water temp was PERFECT! We all know the feeling of uncomfortable water temp, LoL! I wanted regular polish and Ivy didn't attempt to up-sale my choice. I totally appreciated her for that. She was very gentle with handling my sensitive feet;-) At the end, she pulled out her brush and cleaned the polish. Awesome attn to detail!!! Mani * Nail Tech: Kim. I initially wanted a design but decided when she was trying to do the first line to just keep it simple and leave it for the natural look even if she sd she could do it. But, she made me change my mind when I saw her challenged w/ drawing the lines on the 1st mail. Lastly, she didn't soak off the gel, but used the drill;-( She drilled it pretty deep since it burned when she laid the gel on. I probably have had my nails done by almost every one of them, with Tiffany taking the lead as she specializes in acrylic nails. Might be a cultural thing, but the point here is that they make you feel welcomed! My most recent visit was just this morning (5/30/2021). I've been eyeing a specific nail design. I don't know what the correct, official name for it, but it's a play on abstract nail art and negative spaces using swirls. I specifically requested Anne for this appointment as she does well with nail art. She did say she has had other clients ask a similar design, so I was confident she was going to ~N A I L~ (hah, get it?!) my request The whole process took a little over an hour, with the actual design being the most technical part of it. I usually go for the classic french manicure/french tip, but this look turned out to be so regal and elegant, that even one of the ladies in there asked if she could see it, too! I'm IN LOVE with how my nails turned out, all thanks to Anne and her precise skills. The hand/arm massage is always so nice, too. I read really good reviews, but my nails didn't come out as well as they should of. plus the price on the board stated 19.00 for a manicure with gel and I was charged 29.00. After 3 days my nails started piecing off. and you can still see my actual nail under the gel. that should not be showing. its like she was being lazy and didn't want to do another layer. let me say that these were my wedding nails. so here I am in St. Maarten with chipped nails for my wedding. Ugh im getting upset just thinking about it. I mean 29.00 that was definitely a rip off. I wont be back. It was fast an easy to get an appointment. I had a friendly welcome by the staff. This was my first time getting a mani pedi done and I felt very unsure and uncomfortable (this is just how I am as a person) but it went well! For my feet I wanted French tips with regular polish. The pedicure part was not pleasant for me. For my feet, I have very low pain threshold so the nail polish removal part (I had a very difficult to remove nail polish with glitter flakes) was painful when the cotton repeatedly abraded my skin as were the cuticle trimming (a bit too much was cut off from one toe) and nail filing (the file rubbed over my skin enough to leave a tiny raw spot that stung every time a chemical touched it. But it all came out very beautiful and my feet are softer than they ever had been in the last 10 years! For the manicure part, everything quickly and smoothly. I wanted gel polish for my fingers. Also French tipped manicure but also with a silver line. I showed the technican and photo and she nailed the look. During the process, both technicians asked how I like the look and were open to any changes to wanted. Friendly, fast service, beautiful work, and difficult to beat prices! I am super glad that my friend found this nail salon to get mani and pedis. We had an impromptu pamper day and they were able to squeeze both of us in on a Saturday at 1pm. We showed up thirty minutes early and they sat me first and then had my friend join right after another available pedicurist was available. This is my go-to spot to get my nails & toes done. I've also brought my friends here a couple of times for a little group nail spa day. I've generally had a good experience here and Tiffany is always so nice and accommodating! I don't do anything fancy, just your gel nails and regular toes, so I don't request any specific person, but often end up with Tony or Tiffany. I've seen some of Tiffany's design art on her clients, and they're always so pretty! One day, I'll splurge for that if I need something a little extra for my nails. So for my most recent visit, I actually tried to call them yesterday, not realizing they're closed on Tuesday (yelp hours are incorrect). They called me back this morning (2/1) & they were able to squeeze me for a gel Mani and basic Pedi later in the day. My appointment was at 330pm, I had Tony doing my regular pedi (basic spa service) and Tiffany doing my gel manicure. Even though I had an old coat on my toes and nails from a few weeks ago, I was out of there within the hour! The last 10-15 minutes was just me taking advantage of their massage chairs. On a last min phone call my friend and I decided to get pampered. We found Hello Bella Nails as it's between both of our locations. I booked us 2 pedicures and I also wanted a manicure. It was perfect as it is close to the freeway exit and in the heart of some amazing foodie spots. The staff was so warm and friendly. As soon as we walked in they had everything set up. Tiffany and Toan assisted me. Although it was Toan's first day at this locations he is more than qualified as he had his own shop in Pb until good old covid changed his plans. Toan's did my pedicure and Tiffany did my manicure. My friend had the wonderful Ann for her pedicure and Tony was assisting another customer. We had friendly conversation about the upcoming Super Bowl. Their expertise made time fly by. We both were so relaxed and beyond pleased with the results. We wished we both didn't have so many restrictions on our nails or we could have experience some of their unique expert designs. The shop is small and cozy. A boba shop is of soon and it is next too a restaurant and other business. The parking lot had amble parking at 5pm. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will be back.
