I chose this salon because of its many 5-star reviews. It was a bit more expensive than other places, but I was willing to pay more for a service I'd really enjoy. I took my mom as an early Mother's Day gift, so this experience was important to me. What was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon of getting pampered unfortunately turned into an awkward and uncomfortable situation. I called ahead to ask if they could accommodate two Gel-X manicures and three gel pedicures, and was told yes, so we headed over. Unfortunately, the service didn't meet expectations. My mom showed the manicurist a video of the design she wanted--she even replayed it multiple times--but the process felt rushed from the start. There was no typical manicure prep (no soaking, cuticle care, or massage), just immediate cutting, filing, and application of tips. When the nails were finished, my mom wasn't happy with the design. She didn't ask to start over--just if it could be adjusted or enhanced. The technician responded with attitude, saying she didn't understand what was wanted, despite having seen the reference multiple times. She quickly removed part of the design, made minor changes, and moved on. It became clear the technician had another client waiting and rushed through my mom's service. For a $200 manicure, that's disappointing--especially when the result isn't something the client is happy with. While the pedicure was fine, the overall experience fell short. My mom ended up going to another salon the next day and paying again to have her nails fixed. I work in the service industry myself, so I understand that not every client interaction is easy--but I was always taught to make it right when a guest isn't happy. From a customer service standpoint, this was a big letdown. We weren't difficult or demanding--she simply didn't like the design and wanted help improving it. I haven't gotten my nails done in 2 years so I decide to treat myself and went to Blooming Nails. I was a walk in and I was at a station almost immediately, less than a minute of walking in. I got gel nails with a design and the price for it was jaw droppingly good. Very pleased with the price and my nails. I started getting pedicures earlier this year and had been going to a salon closer to my home. They were OK, but every time I went the prices kept increasing. My sister and I were talking and she found this place on Yelp. I stopped in, with no appointment on a Friday afternoon. I was greeted promptly and shown the menu. I selected my service and was seated within a couple of minutes. The lady who helped me was very nice and sweet. This was one of the best pedicures I've had. The prices are very reasonable. My husband surprised me with a day date here on a Sunday afternoon and it was exactly what I needed. We had reservations and got right in. They didn't seem too busy as well which was nice. We got pedicures together and it was so relaxing. Even with my husband having ticklish feet, they were accommodating and kind I got a gel manicure and loved how it turned out. I had a blister on my palm and the employee was gentle and avoided that part on my hand, which I appreciated. My gel fill on my toes was done really well. This was one of the first nail salon's that I've been to where they ask me to pick the base color. I'm so glad they asked because they turned out how I wanted whereas other salons, they seem to pick the base color without even asking me. The pedicure was good. But this is the fifth time we have come here (my daughters and myself) and the first time they did not offer us a glass of wine or champagne. That is such a nice little perk and a bit of a lure to return so, personally, I was disappointed about that. There are other salons that do serve their patrons such beverages. read more

Update: the manager, Allan, responded and said his employee was speaking to another employee in Vietnamese. No. She was speaking to ME when she snapped at me about the chair. No matter what language is being spoken: tone and facial expressions...not to mention looking directly at the customer tell an ENTIRELY different story. First, your response is factually incorrect. I never stated this was my first fill after a new set. You chose to argue against a claim I never made, which distracts from the actual issues I raised. Second, you state that your goal is to "provide honest recommendations." That simply did not happen. I booked a fill appointment, I am a customer and I am not a licensed nail technician. I rely on trained professionals to evaluate the condition of my nails and recommend the appropriate service. I was never told my acrylic had reached the end of its life, never advised that a new full set would be better, and never given any recommendation whatsoever. You argue that my nails had already gone through multiple fills and months of wear. If that was your professional assessment, why wasn't I told before the service was performed? Had anyone simply said, "I recommend a new full set instead of a fill," I would have happily accepted that recommendation and paid the additional $5 plus for the full set. Fill is $60+ and Full set is $65+ with additional cost of maintenance. Instead, that explanation only appeared after multiple nails broke. That is not an honest recommendation--it is a justification after the fact. You also chose to mention my refund request without providing the context for your future customers. I did not request a refund simply because my nails broke. I requested one only after your salon refused to help repair the remaining broken nails, dismissed my concerns, and insisted the breakage was entirely my fault. Your salon denied my request, which I accepted your shop's decision before leaving. Since I left your shop without a refund, what was the purpose of bringing up the refund other than to portray me as an unreasonable customer while avoiding the reason the refund was requested in the first place? Your response also claims you "respect our customers' decisions." Respecting a customer's requested service does not eliminate a licensed professional's responsibility to provide recommendations when a different service would be more appropriate. Customers depend on your expertise because they are not trained nail technicians. Worst experience! Front desk receptionist is rude and over charges. Quality of the work was beyond horrible. There is a lack of transparency in what they can do and what they actually do are completely different. I asked the nail tech if she can do 3D nail designs and got frustrated with me because she couldn't achieve it as if it was my fault. At the end I left with my nails not looking anything near what I asked for and they ended over charging me. The nail tech who did my hands was not polite -- she spoke in Vietnamese (a language I understand) and said "ghê" about my hands, which is very rude and insulting. I haven't been here in quite some time as I go to another nail salon. My friend & I decided to get mani pedis. My gel toes came out great, so did my gel mani with a design. I'm not sure if they provide beverages anymore but we were not offered any. They offer 5% off if you pay in cash, there is an ATM inside. They ask that you pay tip via Venmo or cash. The chairs are comfy. They have a great selection of gel colors & regular nail colors. They were very gentle with my skin which I liked, not one accidental cut on my hands or feet. One thing I would like is if they spend more time applying/massaging the lotion on my hands, arms & legs- that is one of my favorite parts and I felt like they barely massaged at all & was quite dissatisfied with that. read more

I probably wont be returning to this nail salon. I came here for the first time on May 27th due to the positive reviews. I tried dip nails for the first time, since I usually opt for gel. I was a little surprised that the dip service doesn't offer a manicure experience, but can be added on for an additional price. During my service I overheard another patron being offered something to drink which I was not, this didn't bother me too much but it was sort of an eyebrow raise. After my nails were finished I really liked how they came out. I did dip black base with a chrome finish. However, three days later I noticed the top layer was peeling off and the chrome was faded to the point where it was black. So I returned to address this and I will say I was happy that they fixed the top layer and the chrome application for free. It was interesting after they fixed my nails, my nail lady ran to the back, when I was trying to tip her, giving off the impression she was sour about having to redo work for free. I was happy with the way they handled my issue. Which brings me to my dissatisfaction. June 1st, not even a week later since the first appointment my polish/dip whatever has chipped, the top layer is starting to peel again and there is a visible scratch on my nail. Again I'm new to dip but I don't think these marks and chips should be apparent within the first week. Especially after paying $72. I also don't live a crazy lifestyle that would warrant this type of damage on my nails, and my experience with gel I've never had this issue. I feel like I can't go back in to have them fix it a second time because of the way the technician seemed annoyed I came back the first time as well as trusting them to fix it properly. I will say I'm glad I tried a new place but I disappointed and won't be coming back, which is unfortunate. read more

We came here as a group to get our nails done together for our brother's wedding. It was so much fun! The nail technicians are efficient and nice, all Vietnamese and soft spoken. It looked like there were a few regulars who came and went, mentioning the nail techs by name. They were very gentle with my nails and cuticles during the cutting and shaping. I'm NEVER a fan of the nail filing, and I almost threw up in the chair (I have sensory issues). But the technicians were fast, and I wasn't grinding my teeth for long! They give 5% off if you use cash. Don't forget to tip! They do have an ATM inside the place, but there's a $2.50 charge for each transaction, so I recommend coming with at least $100 if you're planning on getting a gel mani and a regular pedi with tip. read more
