I felt my nails where shaped beautifully, but when I saw the first 2 "rainbow arches" I immediately asked if we could just do all white, and she said she'd after to sand them down again.. I expressed they looked like Easter eggs with cut nails since the cuticle was painted red as the rainbow is upside down..she told me since it's pride month people will get the message. This is my favorite nail salon for a variety of reasons! All of the employees are so sweet and never forget a name/face. Every time I am there, I see so many regulars which is always a great sign. The salon itself is very clean, prices are great and day of call ahead/appointment times/walk in's are always very accommodating to your schedule. Donna has done my nails 4 or 5 times now, and she never misses! I came in with an inspo pic of nude to white ombré and she was able to execute FLAWLESSLY (as always ). She listens to what you want and has no problem helping you pick what will look best, whether that is nail shape, color, etc. 10/10 would recommend this nail place! Stay away. Stay far away. Called ahead. Made an appt for 2 pedis and one acrylic mani. We arrived on time. One pedi was started 15mins after our appt time. The other two services were started 30mins after our appt time. One pedi had a bubble in it and the tech was bothered when we asked her to please fix it. Basic pedi $25 The other pedi--just see the pics. I have to say the tech who did this pedi gave a wonderful massage. But the nails, as you can see--terrible. $35 The acrylic--see the pics. All crooked and just horrendous. $53 We asked for the acrylic to be fixed. It was still bad. The pics are after they "fixed" them. One customer left while we were there because they took too long. Also, this place should really consider putting stuff on the tv they have for their customers instead of for themselves. read more

Came in requesting acrylic oval shape nails but they came out all different sizes/shape are upturned and some were especially crooked. I asked to have it fixed and was blamed that it was the shape of my nail that was the issue. I've never had my nails done this poorly by a professional and would not recommend or be visiting this place in the future. read more

The ladies at MC are great and funny. I enjoyed my time there. They did a decent job on my toes, but my acrylics are just okay. I got these for a wedding and asked for thin acrylic nails (why is this so hard to do, I hate giant thick nails). The shape and length were perfect, but my issue is when nail techs make your nails stick out and upward. My thumb nails are driving me nuts because they don't look like they're the natural shape of my nail. They are pointing up so much that it just looks cheap. If the nail tech had laid the tips straight instead of up, these would have looked perfect. I have a wedding this weekend and I'm a little embarrassed to show them off because they're sticking up and out of my hand. The color is beautiful- it sucks. read more

My previous review somehow was deleted and not by me. 2 visits here and I was cut both times. The second time my cuticle was bleeding quite a bit, but instead of stopping the bleeding or waiting- the girl just continued to paint - getting blood on the brush and and then putting it back in the bottle. This level of unsanitary practice is honestly shocking. Would you want your nails painted by a brush that has touched someone else's blood? read more

They were meticulous in their detail and had good suggestions for nail designs. I got a fill and gel pedicure. The nail tech who did my pedicure gave an awesome foot massage (probably one of the best I've had in a long while). The nails came out really cute and I've gotten a ton of compliments on them! One of my nails did break about 1.5 weeks after I got them done (not the fault of the salon as I was probably just too rough on them) and they were able to fit me in for a nail fix fairly quickly. read more

I used to come here frequently but after the experiences I've had today, I won't be back. I called this morning and said I could come either now, or in an hour. They asked me to come now. When I showed up (less than 10 minutes later), they made me wait another 30 minutes! Once that 30 minutes had passed, somebody turned to me and said "I will be right with you after I paint this lady's nails".... At that point, I respectfully voiced my dissatisfaction and left. They chased me down and offered me a discount if I came back later. I've had good experiences here in the past, so I said ok. I showed up later in the afternoon with a set appointment for a dip manicure and for a little TLC on a nail I had broken at the nail bed. There was no hand soak, no cuticle care, no getting gunk out from under my nails, no lotion, no nothing. They just sat me down, put a little bit of (obviously USED!) superglue on my injured nail, shaped my nails, and immediately put my fingers in the dip powder... all I could think about was how many peoples dirty fingers were in this dip before mine if they didn't bother to soak my hands in soapy water or alcohol or get dirt out from under my nails?? I was grossed out. The shape and color of my nails is beautiful as always, but after my hands dried at home, I noticed how much residue was left behind on my fingers around my nails (pictured) I'm sad to have to find another nail place. Their time management, sanitation practices, and quality are now too questionable. read more

I invited a group of my friends to get manis/pedis. My male friend went to get a pedi--first thing they offered to him was gel nail polish--then made us pay for a pedicure treatment that was much more expensive than what my friend initially agreed to. The nail technicians never engaged with us and spoke Vietnamese the entire time (I understand this is common), but felt somewhat rude in comparison to other salons I go to every two weeks. I would not recommend this to someone who wants a variety of nail polishes, service with integrity, and getting what you pay for--this place does NOT do this. read more

My 3rd time here, last 2 in past 2 years were for regular gel manicures which were basic but fine. Today I called after work bc they are open a littler later and was up for trying something new and getting the dip all my coworkers rave about. Im going to echo what another customer Brittany mentioned already. I was surprised there was no hand soak, no cuticle care, no getting gunk out from under my nails, no lotion, no nothing. They just sat me down, minimally shaped my nails, and immediately put my fingers in the dip powder. This was my first time for dip but after reading Brittany's review and knowing the usual sequence I experience for gel mani, all I could think about was how many peoples dirty fingers were in this dip before mine if they didn't bother to soak my hands in soapy water or alcohol or get dirt out from under my nails... Aside from the lack of hygiene, I felt pressure to pick a color immediately and when I asked for recommendations for fall color or colors I was met with "I don't know." After a few minutes , I ended up picking out 3 colors and decided to look at how I could arrange them on my nails and was met with a sign and "$5 more for multiple colors" which I had experienced with the gel color in the past. I had asked for suggestion on how to organize the colors and again met with "I don't know" I came directly from work and did not have cash so I paid with card and I was met with a sign and "you don't have cash" comment. I apologized and said I did not today. I do usually try and pay cash for these services, but the customer service here was lacking nor was it mentioned when I called ahead to ask about apt. Lastly before I left I asked was it standard to not get my cuticles or anything else like I experience with regular gel mani. And one lady asked me if I wanted my cuticles cut today... "$5 more" I said no my nails are already done now I'm just trying to understand the service. It felt more like a "polish chance" than a full service manicure. I asked to see if they had a price list to be aware of costs for other services I may be interested in trying but the list they showed my only has regular manicures and the various pedicures on it and I was advised to just call for any other services for price. My last question was what is the cost to get the dip removed in a few weeks and was surprised it's $12! Prices: $43 dip manicure, +$5 to get my multiple colors. +$5 apparently if you elect into cuticle trimming and then $12 if you need to get them removed down the road. (Local tip- Vons receipt had a $5 off coupon for service of $38+) Summary, would I go back? Not super likely. I don't go super regularly for my nails since COVID and I've had some BAD Nail Experiences in the past so I always feel a little anxious and apprehensive that it will happen again. I'm someone who needs a few min without pressure to pick out color/s and appreciates some recommendations and I'd like to feel a little pampered for 30 or so min while paying for a beauty service and I just didn't get that at all. read more

I used to love coming here because some of the girls do terrific work. I tip well too ($15-$20 every time) so this is really a shame. Last time I went, they gave me some type of toe infection and the lady was really lazy with the work. She also cut me twice and then dug into the side of my big toe so hard I'm certain that's why it's infected. They also don't listen, insist on other colors and services, and simply just give whatever service they feel like in pursuit of money. Every color we pick, we're told, "No use this color, it's brighter" and regardless of how many times you say no and express which color you'd like... they are pushy and won't listen. My mom went in last week and asked 3 times for a simple nail color change (nothing else) and they went ahead and pushed the full pedicure on her. The woman kept saying, "we need to remove the dead skin" but that's not what my mother wanted. This place really needs to figure out how to listen to their customers. My first experience here was wonderful but I had a very unpleasant experience my second time around. I called in Thursday afternoon to get my dip nails redone and they told me to come in at 6:15 pm. I confirmed 3 times if it was OK coming in that late. The lady doing my nails was clearly upset I was here and I told her again I could come back in another date. She was rude and made a sly comment saying "Oh, you don't work sweetie. You don't have a job?" ...excuse me? I ended up switching to gel nails to get out of the salon faster and nothing what I wanted. I ended up getting my nails redone already at a new salon. This salon is very disorganized and chaotic.
