I recently stumbled upon the Hello Boba Food truck behind tribune tower. This is the first and only boba food truck in Chicago. They have a kiosk to order your drinks or a staff member who awaits at the food truck window. They have multiple options for different teas such as brown sugar tea, matcha tea, taro tea, etc. as well as different options for the boba such as brown sugar boba, etc. The staff members were so sweet. They offered me free jelly which was so tasty. I ordered the brown sugar boba and it was very yummy. They only have one size and it's almost as big as a large. I forgot my straw and the staff member ran behind me to hand it over to me, which was very sweet. Please do check out this food truck! Such a great idea to get your boba on the go.

I first saw Hello Boba with a food truck they had recently near tribune tower. I got the strawberry refresher with passion fruit poppers and it was just what I needed for a hot summer day. It may be a bit too sweet for some but they have so many other unique flavors and options to choose from. My friend got the matcha green tea with regular boba and it was also really good and not overly sweet. Service was very friendly and they were very patient answering questions I had about the different flavor profiles and combinations. I will definitely be back and I can't wait to try the brown sugar black tea with boba next time!

Really awesome space at a crowded downtown location. Foods were served on nice metal holders or disposable/environmentally friendly containers and utensils. The tacos were huge, and I love that they focus on the variety of vegetables on the taco, which is often overlooked at other places. Veggies also make the taco look beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the tikka paneer, the paneer was soft for paneer but firmer than tofu, a really great texture. And the flavor wasn't overpowering. The tikka sauce was light, which I am totally fine with. The chicken quesadilla was also made well and of good value, the kids all really liked it. The salmon was good too but didn't really stand out as much, but appreciate the variety veggies on top! The mexi-Cali shrimp bowl was not bad either, but also didn't stand out much. The shrimp was good but I prefer it cooked even lighter if possible. Flavor was good tho. The rice was long grain, which I prefer, but they do give quite a lot, I ended up having quite a lot leftover. I wish the had a bit more cilantro or other herby mix to increase the depth of flavor, but overall still pretty good. Queso was also really good, thick and creamy, not too salty, but sadly the kids didn't like it as much. Husband also liked the gochujang pork a lot, said it was actually really really good. Overall, we really enjoyed everything we had there. Love that they also had paper towels everywhere. My preferred method of keeping clean haha. Will definitely come back.

The Angry Lobster had just the right kick (flavorful but not overpowering), and the Combo Basket was generous and delicious. You can taste the quality. We really like the variety on the menu. Since their website mentioned they could sell out, I preordered and prepaid online for a 5:30 PM pickup. Unfortunately, when we arrived, our order wasn't ready, which was disappointing because preordering is supposed to save time. There were only about four other people waiting and two employees working the truck. We ended up waiting close to 20 minutes for our food. As for the meal itself, the lobster was fresh, buttery, and flavorful. I wish the rolls had more of a toasted crispness, they were squished flat. We also weren't fans of the coleslaw because it tasted overly vinegary, maybe it was just an off day? We would have preferred some crunchy french fries versus the Cape Cod Chips. The highlight of the meal ended up being the chocolate whoopie pie for dessert -- absolutely delicious! Not sure if we would try it again?
