Waiting for our boba in the cutest little shop.
    Natalie S.

This little boba shop sits right across from Millennium Park and has a little view of downtown Chicago from the indoor seating. It honestly feels like stepping out of the city for a bit even though you are literally on the Chicago strip. The whole place gives off such cute teahouse vibes and I live for that. They were really busy when I went and it looked like only one person was working. I get that small shop life but waiting a while for a premade cake and two drinks wasn't my favorite part. Still, the decor and the whole vibe made the wait way easier. My trusty brown sugar boba was magnificent and their fruity smoothies are delish. Ordering at the kiosk gives you plenty of customization so you can really make your drink perfect. The Mille Crepe Cakes tasted soft and almost melt in your mouth. Even with the wait, I am glad I stuck it out. The spot is adorable, the drinks hit the way they should, and it is a fun little place to hang out in the middle of everything.

Great little boba spot! Order on kiosk and we were surprised with some promotion deals! We had lavender matcha, creme brutle matcha, and a boba latte and all were great. Cute drinks with nice plastic bottles. Quick service

    Yummy drinks.

I was in town for the Chicago Marathon and it was open during the race. They have boba drinks with milk and without. You can also get non-boba drinks with other jellies like aloe vera. The drinks are served in a long cylinder with a pop-top soda can vibe. Really helpful if you are picking up multiple drinks you need to travel with. Service is fast and when I was there, they had excellent pastries.

We really enjoyed our boba drinks here...not only was the milk tea delicious, the beverages were served in cool pop-top cans! Service was fast and efficient (you order at kiosks). I was super happy with and impressed by all the milk substitutes, including soy and oatmilk (I chose the classic milk tea with oatmilk, boba, and fifty percent sugar). The location is near the Art Institute and Millennium Park...it's a great place for a snack and boba tea if you're in the area (parking is difficult, of course, and we were in the Grant South parking garage which is convenient but can be expensive if you're parked long...I'd make sure to get validation, if possible!)

Pretty teas and coffees in overpackaged flip top cups. Busy space across from millennium park. Don't forget to flip and shake the cup. Also a 10%tip is added automatically. Too few seats. Line moved fast but was there.

It's almost like boba tea in a can on Michigan Avenue across from Millenium Park, is it not? With organic milk options of Whole, 2%, Lactose Free, Oat, Soy, Almond, and Coconut, where you place your order at a kiosk; where mochinuts abound, and you can grow a crème brûlée mustache; the one, the only originator of the cheesecake bao in numerous flavors; where you can get your fix of mille crêpes or coconut jelly, and where your boba comes in a plastic can that you'll have to crack open. I interacted with a kiosk to place my order. Of a Rose White Mustache Black Tea. I adjusted the sugar content to 25%. Seating here was sparse, but comfortable enough. The store window faces east, so on a sunny day, there's plenty of light. As promised, the beverage came in a transparent can to accommodate those wishing to admire their beverages. Open from the top, using the tab. Once finished, discard or take with you? Honestly, it's quite a bit wasteful in terms of material, since you can't close the can once you've opened it. As for the beverage, it didn't leave an impression on me, other than I finished due to thirst. But their decor and setup did.

A friend at work told me she was taking a break to get matcha. I was stuck in training and she was kind enough to bring me one back. Looking at the menu online to order, I was pumped when I saw creme brulee matcha!!! Yes!!! So delicious. I love this combo as I don't need much sugar added. The taste was perfect and their presentation of drinks are so pretty! Dangerous that it's so close to work. Excited to visit inside next time to see the inside!

    Passion Fruit Jasmine Oolong Tea

Te'amo Boba Bar is seemingly a super popular boba chain in Chicago, and this specific location is located along the busy street of Michigan Ave. Upon entering, you'll notice that the interior is super pink and cutely decorated. There isn't a ton of space or seating, so I wouldn't recommend a long sit-down hangout with a large party of people here. To order, you'll interact with one of the two kiosks at the counter. DRINK: Passion Fruit Jasmine Oolong Tea (3.7/5) - Got this with lychee jelly. It was a little too sweet for me, and I would have loved to adjust the sweetness, but I did not have the option. I remember my friend, who ordered a milk tea, was able to, so maybe the sweetness adjustment is exclusive to milk teas here? There was also definitely a stronger floral taste than expected from the jasmine, so if you like that, maybe this would be more your cup of tea. The drinks come in a can, which I thought was pretty unique compared to the boba shops I usually frequent. It was a little hard to open, and they provided hard paper (?) straws. If you don't open your can all the way, your straw might crack along the metal ridges. Also, restrain yourself if you have a habit of biting your straws because these will break, and you won't be able to sip your drink. SERVICE: There wasn't much interaction with the staff members since I ordered from a kiosk, but the drinks my friends and I ordered came out pretty quickly. I'm sure they're all very nice, hardworking people. :) There were also free samples of some of their drinks on the counter, which I enjoyed. Maybe sample the offered drinks before you make your order. TLDR// Interesting boba chain in Chicago. Not the best I've ever had, but it really gets the job done if you're craving a cute little sweet drink!

The tea is very good, I got matching and my fiance got black tea. The black tea was nice quality and the brown sugar bubbles were a nice bouncy texture. Not super sweet. The crystal Boba was pretty good too. The gacha sleeves were fun, my friends got it. The magnets were very cute.

Stopped in while visiting Chicago. The packaging definitely got me. It's super cute and I get the appeal. Thought the drink I ordered was pretty good but felt like I didn't get much beverage but super heavy on the ice. Flavor was good. Cost was comparable to other Boba places in the area. I will try it again and maybe mention light ice next time.

Volcano Thai milk tea, matcha drink, Passion Fruit Mille Crpes

Te'Amo offers a delightful sweet treat to a post-dinner excursion. I enjoyed my volcano Thai tea (which I never had before), and I would definitely try more of that drink at other venues. I also split the passion fruit pastry with my sister, and it did not feel heavy for either of us. Like it satisfied the sweet craving we both had, and any more sugar would be bad for us (haha) We went here on a Friday night. I would say the service was pretty good. We ordered off InKind, and even though the person working didn't know much about the app, they were happy to help us. Once we sorted through ordering, they made our drinks pretty fast. Inside the shop was a modern yet chill atmosphere. The place was clean and everyone indoors had a place to sit. I wouldn't have much things to criticize because everything was good. As a bonus, since we followed the Te'Amo instagram account, we got a cute keychain :) I would definitely come back and try more of their items.

Drinks are good. Quite overpriced. Overall, it was a a good one time experience, but given the cost, we'll probably go somewhere else

Black Sesame Matcha Latte - while the black sesame graininess settled at the bottom expectedly, the matcha was clearly whisked well. There were no clumps of bitterness to be found. I wish I was able to travel with one of their cheesecakes but they require refrigeration. Anyhow the cheesecake itself was delicious super light, fluffy, and honestly felt like biting into a cloud. I had the salted egg but they had several flavor options that I would've loved to try if slices were available. The texture is what really stands out, and the flavor was unique and interesting in a good way. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it taste like, but it was sweet, but not too sweet They only sale but I consider a personal size but it's definitely enough to share with two people, maybe even three depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have. My only downside like others is the price. Paying around $19-$20 for a small cheesecake felt a bit steep, especially since they don't offer slices. I really wish they had smaller portions available so you could try different flavors without committing to a full cake prize. They package it very well and they also serve you a cute little fork set and a knife for cutting which I think is contributes to the price. The shop itself is very cute with chic décor and a lot of Asian-inspired artwork, which adds to the overall vibe. Customer service was friendly. When I visit Chicago again I'd definitely go back the texture and taste alone make it worth it but I do hope they consider offering smaller portions in the future.
