Two weeks ago, I had my lips dissolved with my preferred specialist, Monica, and booked a refill appointment for October 4 at 12pm with Kelly (since Monica was out of office). I started my commute from NYC to the Verona location, but found it odd I never received a reminder -- so I called, only to learn that my appointment was never actually booked, despite scheduling it over the phone 2.5 weeks ago. They managed to squeeze me in later in the day with Megan. However, when I arrived just five minutes past their 10-minute grace period (after calling ahead to let them know I'd be slightly late), I was told I had missed my appointment and the most she could offer was a conversation -- not the actual service. I found this incredibly disappointing and frustrating, especially given the effort it takes to travel from NYC without a car, and the fact that I've been a loyal client for years. It's unfortunate to end things on this note, but I can no longer recommend Montclair Rejuvenation Center after today's experience.

Not only did the treatments not work after a year of routinely coming in, when I called to discuss my concerns again (which I had raised in person numerous times) about how I felt misled with seeing no progress and feeling continual pressure to purchase more packages because "it works for everyone", Johnna told me I was "horrible and disgusting" and went on a rant about the level of hairiness of women by ethnicity. I'm speechless. Johnna will tell you how her laser is state of the art, amazing, and it costs more than a house, but there is nothing magical about this laser. It is only so quick and painless because it doesn't work.

The interior of the place is nicely decorated with chic decor and chill music playing. I notice some of the other staff weren't as friendly or welcoming towards me which is disappointing as a new client. When I finally met with the dermatologist and her assistant, they definitely rushed through the consultation and didn't spend enough adequate time to truly listen to my concerns. I suspect they were in a rush since she they were dealing with another patient in another room. I wish they could have really listened to my concerns and made me feel more seen as a patient. I did get some skincare samples which was alright. Overall, it's not worth going to Vital Aesthetics especially if you have any dermatological concerns. I will DEFINITELY look for a new dermatology office and won't be coming back to this place since my experience with them was lackluster, frustrating and unimpressive. The place is so disorganized and messy especially when it comes to scheduling appointments. This place is not worth the time or money at all.
