The merch selection is super cute and better compared to the Irvine/SoCal location. Ambiance is also good--cute seating areas with hello kitty mirrors and tons of instagrammable shots. The only thing is that it's a small part in the middle of the mall, so it's not a store or dedicated space. It can be hard to find from outside if getting dropped off/using ride share services. As for food selection, many things like the Kuromi ube tres leches cup was already sold out so I couldn't try. We got the macaron set which was definitely overpriced and my kid didn't like the taste of most of the set. Taste-wise it was just okay, which is similar to SoCal location too. They definitely could improve on the flavors of their food offerings and I would also love to see actual mochi donuts you can eat, and not just merch of them because that made me crave it even more. The Hello Kitty cafe is really cute! I'm a big Hello Kitty fan, so I knew I had to stop by. It's all desserts, coffees, teas, lemonades, and cute, but pricey Sanrio merch. Must see for Hello Kitty fans. Workers were nice and efficient. I ordered the Hello Kitty face cookie and it tasted like an ordinary sugar cookie. Taste is average. It had sparkly on the white frosting. I also ordered the red velvet cupcake which also tasted like your average grocery store pre made cupcake. I bought the clip plush with the Vegas sign which was $18. It ended up being only a dollar more than the ones selling at the ABC store next door. As a longtime Sanrio fan still mourning the loss of the Fashion Show Mall's Sanrio store, I was thrilled to see the Hello Kitty Cafe pop up in Las Vegas, even if it's tucked between escalators! It's a clever use of space, and while I wish Hello Kitty had a full-blown brick-and-mortar cafe to match her iconic status, this little spot still delivers a dose of cuteness. The selection is solid considering the size, we grabbed a couple of cupcakes and a strawberry pastry (which my husband devoured before I could snap a pic). The drinks were tasty, and everything was adorably themed. The merch? Irresistible. I couldn't leave without the Hello Kitty plush holding the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, too perfect to pass up, even as a local. Design-wise, it's a pink dream. There are a few seating areas with Hello Kitty head-shaped mirrors and long benches that make it feel playful and fun. It was pretty busy when we went, and the tables were a bit messy, but with the constant flow of families and kids, it's understandable. Its a cute little spot, really no different than the truck on the strip, this was just in the mall.

Located inside the Fashion Show mall, this location is perhaps the easiest for locals or even those staying on the strip during winter her in Vegas to access. With free parking and indoor seating, it's much better than their cute truck outside Park MGM and they have soft serve. Nuzzled between two escalators, this location has a surprising amount of seating. The line seems long to get items but the staff are working quickly to make your order and are also very friendly. As it's busy, your table may not be the cleanest depending on who sat there before you as we didn't see someone coming out to wipe them down. As for the soft serve, it has good texture but I didn't really get any strawberry flavor from the swirled soft serve. The cone was more like a taiyaki cone than a waffle one but it stood up to the ice cream and had a good flavor as well. The lemonade was a bit tart and definitely had some pulp in it, which I appreciated. It also offered decent prices for the offerings in the strip based on other places I'd been. If you are a Hello Kitty fan, it's definitely worth a visit. read more

Star something or other.. and the other cafes were packed with lines out the door. So I came across this place and there were a few people in line and lots of seating available, so I jumped in line and ordered up an iced Zebra Mocha and a Hello Kitty donut. Service was fast and it didn't take much time for my order to be ready. The mocha was good and I was more than ready for my caffeine fix at this point. I am a die hard HK fan, and maybe I've been spoiled with a pristine view of how other Sanrio/Hello Kitty retail and/or food spots are, (Shibuya and Irvine for reference), but this was...not the same. First visit was a weekday evening around 5ish when I came over to check out NM, and after seeing the directory, ended up on a side quest. Very small footprint for this cafe. No one at the tables. I walked all the way to see if there was more? No. The little stools were scattered haphazardly and someone was cleaning the floors. Even the lighting made so much glorious pink appear a bit dismal. I had plenty of time to see what was available because no one said anything to me even after the one guest left the counter. Saw both treats and merch behind the glass a little too close together, and pricing was posted. Honestly, I had walked over like "what am I going to buy?" and left empty-handed - it was just pricey and not remotely appealing in this setting. Perhaps even a cheery hello may have brightened the place, IDK. Conversely, the ABC store next door (the best for low price everything if you are in Hawaii or Guam) had a beautiful Hello Kitty Anniversary collab takeover and I purchased some merch there. A convenience store display straight outshined the cafe. I had to come back to this mall at about the same time that week to pick up an order from another store, passed by again and the vibe was still off. If this were my business, I may have a talk with the visual merchandiser about how to elevate things a bit. Maybe have them swing by a few diff times per day for optics. Heck, I collected Pokemon cards in Japanese before the show was dubbed to release in the states thanks to my cousin who was in animation school. Always loved Sanrio and Hello Kitty. I would have ordered drinks and possibly even merch to sit and enjoy there but I found it crowded and overwhelming. Soft serve vanilla over a Hello Kitty shaped Taiyaki that was a bit soft but gradually because easier to eat when you made it towards the bottom. It was delicious and I did wish I could have tried more desserts or pastries but I was on limited time. The merch never fails to get me to spend a lot so I did get a cross body bag and more plush. We came here since the other location was closed. They have a display case showing what they have and what is sold out. You can either order through the kiosk at the front and they call your name/number, or you can order at the register. I prefer the kiosk so I don't hold up the line. Also bummed that they were sold out on the cookies. I wanted to take them home. Ended up getting a soft serve with hello kitty cone, kuromi tres leches (limited time only), and mango tea. Hubby got the birthday cake. My fave is the soft serve. The tres leches were a little too sweet for me. Would've been better if it were less sweet. The birthday cake was regular vanilla cake with sprinkles. Hubby loved the birthday cake. But I'm not a fan of plain vanilla so it was a no for me. Ended up buying more merch than I expected.
