This place was a popular early morning spot. It's across from where the gym is on the second level of the hotel the Fontaine Bleu. They have a teeeny tiny salmon bagel for $16 and it's a slider. That was off putting but they had a delicious quiche Lorraine, that was a great size and my kids loved it. The coffee was good, but not memorable. The staff was professional but not super friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a super tiny spot and very easy to miss. There are just a few tables inside and outside to enjoy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

TLDR: [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute cafe in the Fontainebleau serving light sandwiches / salads / other items as well as drinks and pastries / desserts.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very small space and only a handful of high-top bar seats so treat them more of a grab and go spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Breakfast sandwiches are tiny (slider size) but pastries and coffees are not! ------ 1. [MUST TRY] BLUEBERRY MUFFIN (5/5): I understand the hype. Imagine a blueberry muffin and super crunchy coffee cake had a child. This muffin is also sold at Chez Bon Bon and I had to get one more before my flight home because it was that good. 2. FLAT WHITE (5/5): Really tasty with almond milk. Around 6oz size so not as substantial as your typical cup of coffee. 3. QUICHE (4.5/5): Great quiche, and the most substantial breakfast food item by far. All the breakfast sandwiches look small and not-filling in comparison. Loved the sturdy, buttery crust on this as well as how tall the quiche slice was. 4. ALMOND CROISSANT (3.5/5): Crispy edges and has a nice almond flavor, albeit a little chemical-y tasting. Wish it was a tiny bit more airy too (was pretty flat and dense). Couldn't have more than a couple bites. ------ AMBIANCE / SERVICE: * [[HIGHLIGHT]]Like everything in the Fontainebleau, it's so beautiful and well decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] * [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a small space, and it's exacerbated by it being mostly enclosed rather than open. As a result, can get busy in there and so not the best place to eat a relaxed, peaceful breakfast.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Try Vida or Chez Bon Bon for that. * [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, this place is super convenient -- it's right by the guest elevators on the 2nd floor making it the perfect grab-and-go spot[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] * Service is what you'd expect from a little quick cafe

Very limited food options. Better for coffee (full coffee bar) and quick bite.

Differences between Cafe Cuto (2nd level) vs Chez Bon Bon (first level): Cuto: tiny cafe with quick savory bites and VERY limited breakfast / sweet selections (like 5). Full coffee bar. Geared to serve hotel guests visiting the gym or spa or shops on 2nd level. Can also have long lines and small staff (usually 2 cashiers taking orders and 2-3 baristas). Super convenient and hard-working staff slamming orders efficiently. They do a great job and coffee is fantastic. Limited hours so check before you go. Convenient because it's located around the corner from the guest elevators. *Note, the cute raspberry bowtie croissant they advertise was never offered on any morning and only available at Bon Bon. Bon Bon: open 24/7, incredible! TONS of savory and sweet options, loads of pastries that will please everyone. From croissants, danishes, cinnamon roll, cookies, desserts, and GELATO. Full coffee bar. Friendly and efficient servers and open ALL DAY & NIGHT. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well staffed and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Line can be nightmarish in the mornings but same could be said of Cuto. Lots of fresh juices and drinks also available in cold case. Snacks and sundries also available. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of seating and so convenient![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Tucked towards the back of the casino past Washing Potato / High limit rooms.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is one cute coffee shop that is located in the Fontainebleau Hotel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is very small but it has a great vibe to it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have only had their coffee here and it was pretty tasty. I was surprised. If you are ever in this hotel and want a good place to go this is the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It does get crowded as the morning gets later and later. So go early.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute cafe but both our cappuccino and latte were lukewarm - such a let down![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] For the remainder of our stay in Fountainebleau, we got our caffeine fix at Chez Bon Bon on the first floor. They offered piping hot drinks and had a better pastry selection.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the jazz bar/lounge ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], pastries was adequate, good latte but hand drip coffee just ok, it offers similar items with Chez bon bon. Almond croissant was good, flaky & buttery, still a tat below B pattiserie, signature bowtie rasberry pastry just ok imo. I had to dig deep to find the small amount of rasberry filling. Almond tart was weird: loaded with apricot on top which was very sour, i barely tasted any almond inside Latte was adequate, my friend got hand drip coffee & found it subpar.

French pastries and latte based drinks. This is located on the second floor closest to nowhere lounge. The girls here are always so sweet and they make my coffee quickly. I do ask for a pump less of sweetener when getting the lavender latte, it's a bit overboard. The canele here are huge, but the first ones I've seen in town. They are not the best but they do the trick.

Iced latte and iced matcha latte

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is adorable. Very girly with European vibes/music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My iced latte was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would just say that the place would benefit from having more seating[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and that I'm still mind blown at how expensive a cup of coffee is these days in Vegas - $9! But the same applied at a Starbucks in the Hilton Resorts World so seems to be a trend in the area.

    Matcha latte

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in Fontainebleau, this cafe is a cute spot with coffee options and some small bites.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I just got a matcha latte here and my friend got their chai latte. Both drinks were fine, but there wasn't anything special about it in particular. I thought that their matcha was just alright and wish it was a bit stronger. Overall, not a bad spot for some coffee, but there are better.

This review is for the coffee, but there are few pastries you can get as well. Got a cortado and a white mocha. Both were really good. The white mocha wasn't too sweet and the espresso was fresh. There's always quite a few people in line but it goes pretty fast. Like any other coffee shop you order at the counter and wait to the side. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a few seating right out front but around the corner you can also sit and order there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Lavanda Bianca and Tomato Mozzarella Chiabata
    Amy D.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute place I had to stop in for a quick pick me up.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Excited upon first sight. It was so pink and foo foo. Right up a fantasy dream.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They do serve breakfast and lunch. Don't remember if there is a dinner option. Some cute desserts in the display case as well. Has the Lavanda Bianca which is lavender with white chocolate espresso. Perfect for an afternoon to walk around with. Wasn't too sweet. The Tomato Mozzarella Chiabata was sooo good. Would definitely get again. The bread was nice and soft. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This isn't really a spot for sitting and resting. There are only four seats there probably meant to just wait for your order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely worth a check out.

    Maricel J.

Cute little cafe inside the fountainbleau, good coffee and delicious pastries. We got a croissant and a salmon pastry along with some drinks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Limited seatings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Nicole M.

I highly recommend this place for a light breakfast. Great coffee and overall service. Café is small and seating is limited. I recommend checking with staff on what exactly you're ordering for food. I've noticed the labels can sometimes be in the wrong place.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

Despite cooling down a bit, they stayed pretty warm (I still microwaved for good measure). These cookies are incredibly gooey, not at all cakey, and just sweet enough to still be flavorful. My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
