Trying to get an appointment with this place was not easy. It was fine at first setting my initial appointment but when I tried to inquire about other time to schedule it went down hill. They canceled my appointment which I never asked them to do and when the other times I asked about did not work I wanted to keep my original time. Well it was no longer available and I had no appointment. After furiously texting back and forth I decided to just stop replying. Then they offered a complimentary wax and asked when worked best for me. Then I magically got in. The waxing experience itself was the best experience with waxing I've ever had. The room was very clean and my esthetician was WONDERFUL! She really saved my experience with this place. I will definitely be going back because of her! This place has very bad customer service as well as bad communication/scheduling, we had an appointment at 2:30 we arrived 10 mins early but couldn't find the place since it is a studio in a building ( Also didn't have any have any signs outside the facility to show they were located in there). We called the number to ask for some directions and it's an answering machine that you can request to have a "receptionist call" or to just get transferred to one, I requested both options and received nothing! No answer or call back! FINALLY, 25 mins later I found the place and waited outside on the chairs, 30 mins later I got a call for the "receptionist" (I put "" because there isn't a receptionist at this location so I'm not sure if it's someone from a different location or what) but the lady on the phone told me to continue waiting and she will text the esthetician to let her know I was outside, 10 mins later I'm still waiting and got a call again from the same lady for her to tell me that I have to reschedule because the esthetician is with another client and won't have time for my wax since I was "late". She said they allow a 5 min grace period but 1. I REQUESTED for someone to call because I couldn't find the place and I didn't get the call until 25 mins later and 2. Why didn't I get a call from the esthetician or "receptionist" asking if I was on my way or lost? This place is just horrible with communication. NEVER GOING BACK!! read more

There was an ad on Facebook offering a free bikini wax so I applied and upgraded to a Brazilian for only $17 at the new Peoria location! That's an amazing price! They scheduled my appointment by texting which was very convenient for me! Now I was disappointed because they text me cancelling my appointment 2 hours before because the aesthetician I was scheduled with called in. BUT, they set me up with another appointment the next day so I didn't have to wait long and that's the reason I'm sticking with 5 stars! The website gives great instructions for first timers since I've never been to a professional before, just dabbled trying to wax myself at home. I was greeted with a smile and friendliness by Meilani when I got there for my appointment! I love the location because it's not like sitting in a doctors office in a waiting room waiting for your name to be called! Meilani was amazing! She kept me talking and was truly interested in our conversation while she waxed away! I didn't feel much pain at all! At home, I yell when I pull the wax off and Meilani told me that if I needed to yell I could, but I didn't once because she kept me distracted! 5-10 minutes later, I was done! I thought she was kidding, but when she had me check in the mirror, my hair was all gone! I joined up for their membership program because even though I could save money and wax at home, Meilani was just too good that paying for the service is worth it!! She applied a nice cooling lotion after I was done that felt amazing! Making an appointment was super easy - I did it online and received an email confirmation. Note this is a suite inside a building that has multiple salons in it. I didn't have any problem finding the suite. The building is lovely. The suite is very clean and well appointed. The aesthetician was very professional and knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I initially made my appt via text, which I totally prefer because I'm always working. The building is easy to find- but the suite I was given was wrong (there's only 2 and they are next to each other). One door was closed so I asked the other lady after a few minutes and it was my tech. I was super nervous and embarrassed at first as it was my first time and I suffer from ancanthosis Nigerians- darkening of the skin in areas. But my tech Kailey was super sweet and made me feel like she didn't notice. Although it's impossible not to. Anyways- it wasn't too painful and I ended up starting a membership. She was right on time for our appointment which is a plus because I understand that life happens and the person before could have arrived later than scheduled. So I usually am comfortable knowing it may not be right on the dot.
