There remains a nice little amount of small businesses, and you can always treat yourself to one of my favorite spots at El Torritos. Last but not least, you can always catch some interesting elements of mother nature; namely seagulls, pelicans, and seals or sea lions, to say nothing of people watching. Overall a great spot for a nice roll and an opportunity to collect some great oxygen and sunshine. Fun fact: during the opening credits of one of the Charles Bronson Death Wish movies there is quite a panoramic view of this bery same Fisherman's Village and it looks almost exactly as it does now.

I always enjoy walking around and taking in the views, as well as dining! Inside & All Around | Souvenir shops, MDR Historical Society, clothing shops, places where you can rent boats, go on Harbor cruises & so much more! I've also been on the weekend and while dining, there was live music, and even people dancing around...Fun!! Also, I can always spot a variety of gorgeous flowers all around, so pretty! Dining Experience | I've dined at KC's Crepes for delicious, savory, and sweet Crêpes! I've eaten delicious Mexican food at El Torito! Also, had delicious Lobster Rolls several times at Whiskey Red's, which has a beautiful waterfront view, especially from the outside patio! Surprise | One evening, a friend, and I stumbled upon a total dance party outside, which included outdoor shopping, which was a win because one particular item (Vintage Coat) from a vintage shop caught my eye, and I had to have it for an upcoming concert! Hahaha! The owner of the shop even invited me to his full vintage collection at a warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles! I've also enjoyed shopping at Istanbul Home with my cousin when she was in town! Fun shopping here! Parking | Be sure to remember to stop at the parking station and pay once you park, which will also ask for your license plate number! Tickets will be given otherwise! Also, be sure to park in the correct direction or tickets will be given! Overall | Yes, I highly recommend, as it's a super cute area, both charming & quite serene as well as incredible views all around! It's fun to walk around, as well as a great place to take someone who is in town visiting!

Since Nordstrom moved out it's just so eerie. Not a lot going on. I happened to come in as I was checking out a potential new gym which is coming in - Club Studio - and they're going to be pretty huge and take the old Bloomingdales space, people were super friendly and helpful so hopefully that will help but Santa Monica is gonna need a lot more investment in order to drive the people back to shop in person because there is really no good selection of stores of value - just a few boutiques and some brands like Nike or Johnny Was or Paige. Din Tai Fung and Cheesecake on the top floor which is great but other than that... let's hope for more stores in the future.

What happened here?…read more The last time I had visited Third Street Promenade was... checks calendar ...fifteen years ago. Okay, so it's been a minute. Back then, this was the place to be. The energy was contagious. People were everywhere, the shops felt relevant, and there was a sense that something was always happening. Returning recently felt a bit like running into an old friend you barely recognized. Maybe this is simply the fate of the modern shopping district. Online retail changed everything, and malls across America have been fighting a losing battle for years. Whatever the cause, the Promenade feels like it's missing its heartbeat. Storefronts sit empty, foot traffic feels sparse, and what was once a lively destination now feels more like a collection of memories. That's not to say there aren't still pockets of life here and there. The location remains excellent, and you can still catch glimpses of what made this place special. But those moments are fleeting. More than anything, a visit to Third Street Promenade feels nostalgic. Not because of what it is today, but because of what it used to be. It's hard not to walk away wishing you could have experienced it in its prime.

The store is remarkable and serves the Board community well. The thing about Arbor over other sporting goods type stores is that the products designed and materials used follow strict sourcing requirements to reduce the impact to earth. I got my first Arbor shirt at REI over 20 years ago and have been an avid follower of their products. I ended up buying several sweatshirts and hoodies which were embroidered or printed in very cool fashion. All the items I purchased were 50 percent off and are of great quality. The cashier and main employee was really nice, as we had nice conversations about our dogs and how she got into boarding. With such nice savings, I'll be back for value priced summer clothing in the next few months.

During that time, I wasn't curious enough to walk through the doors; I just chalked it up as another brand-new nice-ass spot to ignore as I walked by after hittin' at the beach all day (doing street shows, the best one on da beach alongside Uba-Uba, Mr Animation, & Calipso Tumblers, of course [Big ups to Harry Perry & Hercule's]. Anyways, I walked in a few days ago bc it was one of the only things I recognized. After donating all my decks and snapping the only one I kept in half, I wasn't trying to buy another one - so I'm very grateful I was able to, and did. Skated everyday since three days ago, and I feel the most genuine to myself I have in a while for doing so (exponentially affecting productivity). Thank you Nick!
