SCAM! I had two TV's mounted and they mounted them too close to the wall so I can't access the plug to plug in another component. I signed up for their membership when the TV's were installed and they said I could cancel at anytime. THAT'S NOT TRUE! I had 5 techs scheduled and canceled in the last week to get this issue resolved. They scheduled one for today and I didn't believe they were serious. When I called to cancel today's service they said they were going to charge me $69! When I asked them to cancel my membership they said they would send me a link. When I logged on it said I had to cancel within 30 days. It's been 33! So they are going to continue to charge me $20 per month for the next year! Complete BS! read more

Response was very quick until they learned the nature of my need for a tech to sort out operational issues with our wifi. Once the wifi issue was confirmed they simply ceased all communication. No response. No follow up. No tech scheduling. Nothing. Would give zero stars if it were possible. read more

Set another chat advising their tech was a no show. They said they would look into it and to give them two hours. After several hours I made contact advising again, no response. Kind of disappointed in HelloTech. When my tech arrived I thought he was just a guy from the neighborhood, didn't have any of the HelloTech attire or anything like the website shows. Then, as we discussed what was getting installed I started to think I should just do all of this on my own. I had to follow up the lock install to correct some issues that the tech had. I still don't have all my stuff installed. I'm wondering where all of these 5 star reviews come from or did I just get unlucky? read more

Kevin was super helpful. He fixed our tech problems and made sure he checked that everything was working properly. Instead of just doing the minimum and leaving, he addressed our related issues and got us back up and running with good picture quality and tips on using our remote. He was patient and considerate with my dad who has dementia. (It is his tv/dvd and his main form or entertainment). He was happy to share his knowledge- even on how to recycle our broken DVD player and protect our dvds from scratches. He also arrived right on time. Great service! read more
