Melissa Rivera and Danielle were instrumental in finding a person to take care of my mom. Right from the beginning they brought over Dollie P. Dollie became my mom's caregiver for the next 2 years until she passed a year ago. With being overwhelmed this last year it is now that I write this review. Dollie was my mom's savior. My mom LOVED Dollie like she was family. My sister and I also loved her for taking the best care of my mom! My mom and Dollie loved each other and it was so obvious how my mom did not want anybody else taking care of her except Dollie. In fact a year later, my sister and I still keep in touch with Dollie. We cannot thank Dollie enough for how she took stellar care of my mom. She was always on time, patient, honest, caring, compassionate and always there and willing to do anything for my mom. And Senior Care was always there if we needed them. I would absolutely choose Senior Care again and trust them with finding a special person for your loved one!

These practices are unacceptable, unprofessional and unethical and now I'm trying to arrange discharge and hitting obstacles day after day...This has been a horrible experience!!!!

She came three hours late, when she was supposed to be at Plainview Hospital at 9am. She could talk about her son in great deal about how he was going out with a girl who had aides. She neglected my mom for three hours and my mom had to call up the agency to find out where she was. If anything bad would have happened, the aid would have gone to jail for neglect and the agency would have been held accountable legally. She also neglected my mom towards at the end of her life at Plainview Hospital. She went out for three hours, instead with my mom. My father came in the hospital room and didn't find her. She came back within hours and threw out of the room. On June 14 2024, my mom fell on the dining room floor. The aide Joyce didn't follow my father's instructions not to walk alone with her. Joyce the aide didn't call 911 and the agency. My father who I a retired physician did.

My mother has dementia and it was time we needed help to assist with day to day care giving. She…read moreis a very strong and stubborn woman which would make finding assistance a difficult task. We contacted Home Care Assistance who came and met with us to assess the level of care required and to find a caregiver with the required skill set to appropriately take care of my mother. They found 2 caregivers within a day and reviewed their qualifications and experience with us. We requested an interview with one of the caregivers which was immediately set up. After selecting the caregiver, our Client Manager accompanied her on the first day and stayed a while to ensure a smooth transition. Our Client Manager keeps in contact with us regularly to make sure things are going well and if there is anything additional she and the team can do to assist. It's hard enough deciding it's time to get a loved one some help, so choosing a home care provider is a very important decision. We are very happy with the care and interest Home Care Assistance staff and personnel have supplied with the care of my mother. In a fast moving world with numerous responsibilities to attend to daily, it's very comforting to know that there is someone there taking good care of my mother and to ensure she has everything she needs. In addition to finding qualified help, it was very reassuring to discover the honesty of our caregiver as well. Then when I finally get to orientation I was told I cant do it because I was not in uniform when I was never told to wear a uniform for orientation. so I let it go. I went next door to purchase a uniform so I can make it on time as I was told by the person there. once I come back I was told my physical expired yesterday so I cant take orientation today because of that. I felt as if they put any obstacle for me not to be able to get in there. I don't speck english to well but I completely understand it and I felt as I was being discriminated for my race by making it impossible for me to go through the hiring process as I am 100% qualified for the job.
