They also accept the Self-Determination Program, which has made services much more accessible for us. After working with Ms. Kristin for a little over a year, we have seen the most improvement we've ever seen with my daughter. Her articulation is so much better, her vocabulary has increased tremendously, and she is now 100% intelligible. What I appreciate most about Kristin is that she really understands PDA. She does not push my daughter in a way that overwhelms her, but she still encourages her to work, participate, and have fun while doing it. Kyra is also wonderful to work with. My son was struggling with a speech delay and Layla was referred to us by a friend. She made his sessions very play-based so he didn't even realize he was practicing and strengthening his mouth/tongue. During COVID we had to move to Zoom lessons and I was amazed at her creativity in finding virtual games to play with my son to keep his attention - not an easy feat!
