One dog is 20lbs and the other is 50lbs. We are not exactly sure why one would be more than the other. Also, they don't allow pickups on Sunday so we are forced to board our dogs another night which is really disappointing. Why not set up a small window for pick up on Sunday with a small charge and maybe limit the check outs? You are there taking care of the animals anyway so what's the big deal? We would gladly look past the double charge for our larger dog if you could make an adjustment in your availability. But really, what is the difference in price for anyway? It's not like there was grooming, food or any other service that would require 'more' of anything....

This is by far our favorite! The other dog resort that might come close is a similar concept outside Louisville, KY. Small high quality care not big business with volume discounts. There's a place for hug volume and big discount but I don't think my dog's care is that place. Castle Creek has limited people hours which helps to keep the focus on caring for our dogs. I'm so grateful for that focus! Yes, I would like to pick up on Sunday but we just plan our trips around the posted hours of business. We do NOT view it as a fault of the business. We actually respect the fact that they give their employees family time on Sunday. We ask the hours of operation so we know how to plan our trips and dog pick ups . Utah, Dez, Dayshia and the tech team in the back truly care! When we drop off our dog, who has separation anxiety, she cuddles into their arms peacefully. When we pick her up, she is happy to see us but not stressed at all from her stay. It's so amazing that we can leave her without concern of her separation anxiety messing up her intestinal track. She comes home healthy and regular! She is on a strict diet and they clearly carefully adhere to it! One last quick note: our little dog loves the people of Castle Creek, when she sees her overnight bag, she starts to do a dance and runs to the back door to get in the car!
