I also appreciate that they offer a wide range of price points, so it's easy to find something that fits any budget. As someone who lifts but also does endurance training, I love that they carry everything I need for both strength and performance nutrition. Even during their big promo events -- especially when Mr. Olympia is in town -- the stores are still well-run, organized, and the staff remains accessible despite the crowds. And although nothing particularly noteworthy or different from my prior review occurred during my most recent visit as it pertains to vitamins, selection, quality or staff, I want to give Vitamin Shoppes a shout out on behalf of the earth and being a good environmental partner. So for several years now, I have declined plastic bags or really any bag anywhere I buy anything. I don't need another Lulu Lemon bag, I dont need the flully tissue paper with beauty care product...I want none of it. I either carry my stuff out by hand or I have my own reusable bag (once you get on this band wagon you quickly realize the impact one person can have on stopping this plastic madness). Today though while in the Vitamin Shoppe, before I could even say "I dont need a bag," the sales gal asked if I would like a purchase a reusable bag because they no longer use bags.... at all. What? For a tree hugger like me, this is music to my ears. I was taken back for this is the first corporate retailer that I personally have shopped in that is no longer providing a bag to their customers, period. I LOVE THIS! The sales gal indicated that they started this on Earth Day this year and they have gotten a lot of push back from customers. Well on behalf of this customer, this now makes me loyal to the Vitamin Shoppe brand in a brand new environmentally plastic free way and I am thrilled. GOOD WORK VITAMIN SHOPPE!

They also run great discounts pretty often, which is always a win. One time I noticed a supplement I picked was close to its expiration date, and they immediately handled it and gave me a big discount without hesitation. Super accommodating and professional about it. It's little moments like that that make you want to keep coming back to the same location. If you're looking for a supplement shop with good deals and staff that genuinely look out for you, this Rainbow location is definitely a solid choice.

I was looking for an herbal formula to take as I have an aversion to flu shots. Since I work in the medical field, it is a request that everyone obtains a flu shot or has to wear a mask during flu season when near patients. This person turned me on to a great choice and told me he has yet to suffer flu symptoms by taking this each day. He advised me to take two during the flu season then cut back to one per day. I took his advice and have had great luck with his recommendation. My last visit was to load back up on vitamin B12, C, D and K. The person that helped me this time was also super helpful and considerate. He saw that I was on crutches from a broken foot and did all my shopping for me. He just asked me to wait at the register.
