I had needed an A/C tune-up since the summer season began to make sure nothing was wrong with my unit before the weather gets too demanding. I normally have used other companies in the past to do so, but I received a mailer with coupons from Hendrick Heat and Air and noticed that they were running a tune-up special for $49.95. I thought I would give them a chance since it was a great price for a tune-up plus it included an air filter change. Nathaniel showed up and performed the tune-up but also checked every vent in the house to see how well the airflow was, noticing that there was an issue with several of the vents having weaker output. I had told him about my bedroom vents not having much airflow coming out from them for well over a year, to which he insisted on checking out the ductwork under the crawlspace. He found where a duct had been completely disconnected from the main unit and tried to reattach it for significantly better airflow but said he could not secure it properly without the necessary support. The next day I received a quote to have it reconnected which was a very reasonable price and much lower than what had been estimated. Hendrick was very prompt in scheduling an appointment to have it fixed within the next day. They sent Elliott and Brent to reattach the duct and had it fixed within the hour. The airflow is 100% better in my bedroom and the willingness of the technicians to go under the crawlspace is what made the difference between them and other companies, who have previously told me that I would have to schedule another service request for them to examine any ductwork. The techs at Hendrick were helpful, friendly, efficient, and told me about any issues that could arise with the system. My unit is at the 12 year mark but it is still running well, but if the duct had not been reconnected than it likely could have caused the system to have had much more expensive issues by continuing to work overtime to compensate for the duct leaking airflow. There were no extra charges or hidden fees for work performed and the tune-up price and original quote to fix the duct were all honored. I would definitely consider Hendrick again based on this experience for any issues or for another tune-up. read more

The only one would give me a price of their Freon was this company here and they had a real person answer the phone other than all the other companies had AI generated. I like that I would use this company. They did a good job very upfront about everything cost, and what the problems are.. read more

Came out installed to new a/c units the violated several nec codes and hvac codes. They had to come out the next day and redo 70% of it. They weren't going to pull a permit. They also did the electrical which hvac usually doesn't do. They had to hire an electrical contractor to install it right. When these guys show up to your house ask for hvac journeyman licenses and permit number. Make sure it gets inspected. read more

Kent arrived Wednesday, shortly after 10 am & got straight to work. He had our unit up & running quickly and ensured it was blowing cold air & all was working right!! Absolutely the WORST call ever! The lady that answered the phone has NO IDEA what she is doing!!! I called to do their $69.95 tune up special that they have advertised and she kept telling me it would cost me $79.95 for them to come out and tell me what is wrong with my unit. NEVER ONCE did I say there was something wrong with my unit I told her all I wanted was the tune up. She just kept on going that they had to inspect it for $79.95. I DON"T NEED AN INSPECTION I NEED A TUNE UP!! The guy that hired her should really train her better or fire her. She is clueless!!! Hendrick's replaced both of my HVAC systems and converted my duct work from floor to ceiling ducts. I'm very happy with the work they did and consultation they provided since my install had some unique challenges. When I initially called them out, their tech inspected our current units and found a leaking heat exchanger and moldy vents. As such we had an urgent need for replacing the 18yo systems. The Hendrick's team was quick and responsive. They were also honest about the woes of getting too efficient of a furnace as the exhaust system can cause attic leaks (recall disasters in Feb 2021 ice storm?). I felt like they taught me and made me a better consumer as I worked with them on this project. My one constructive feedback is, the business is growing fast and Summer is the busiest time of year. A couple follow up items drug on longer than expected (replacing a filter grate) but when I raised this they were quick to remedy the issue. read more

Our AC wasn't blowing cold air, so we called to have someone come out. Less than 24 hours later we had someone out to our house. He immediately recognized the problem and was quick to solve it. He gave helpful information about what we needed and was not pushy to get us to do anything unnecessary. Only took him about an hour to replace the parts needed and clean out the AC Unit. These guys are great! Called about stopped up drain under wash machine that was flooding floor........they came right away and saved the day. Thought bill would be high because of the time it took but was pleasantsy surprised to find it very reasonable. Anytime you need to hire someone to fix your home, it's nerve wracking, especially if you have no prior experience in that field. We had a pipe burst and the city had to turn off our water. We have a 14 month old so having no water, isn't really an option. Considering the winter storm, every plumbing company I called was booked out for days and even weeks. My wife found Hendricks on a FB group for Tulsa. I called, they answered, they were out the next day. Kevin tried all he could to fix the issue day one - he dug through snow, cleared snow off my deck and crawled under my house - the job was just too much. I didn't expect him to go that far. Unfortunately, the problem was worse than I had hoped, but they set a realistic and honest timeline for the repair. Kevin told me, "It'll be done on Tuesday", and he proved to be a man of his word. Additionally, after fixing the issue and the water was running and he cleaned up the debris, I found him on the floor of my kitchen, trying to scrub out any trace of him having been there - PRIDE. It's Tuesday and we are back up and running. Best of all, it was completed UNDER BUDGET...I'm a big fan of under promise, over deliver. I'm bought in. The technician that came to my house was very rude. When I asked him to remove his muddy boots before entering my house, or put boot covers on, he rolled his eyes and shook his head. About an hour later he was walking in my house in muddy boots, without boot covers on. I asked him again to take his muddy boots off or put boot covers on, and he mumbled "Jesus Christ" as he put the covers on. He also left a lot of trash for me to clean up after he left, along with muddy boot prints. read more

I understand that a business has to make a profit but what they tried to charge me was crazy. Google is you're friend people. Hendrick was going to charge me at least 1200 for a fan motor and tried to persuade me to a 8000 system upgrade on a 5 year old trane system. Fixed myself in 20 minutes for 170. I would not use Hendricks, if you do, do your research or get a second opinion. read more
