Harassing "service" Hi, I was briefly at this cumby's that I…read morelive right down the road from (Laurel Hill Ave:, Norwich, CT) and go to daily and a newer woman was working that I have never seen before. She was late 30's maybe early 40's with dark hair. As soon as I walked in she was sweeping all around my feet this happened on Monday night at 9:20pm through 9:30pm 4/17. She continued to follow me around the store sweeping and hitting my feet and and I moved out of her way as best as I could however I seemed to be in HER way as she was following me around with the huge broom. I make my way to the drink station and BEHOLD she follows and very rudely yells from behind me as I'm filling my cup "EXCUSE ME!" At this point I felt personally offended and went to the register to pay and she did not greet me or acknowledge me just rang my stuff up and rudely pushed my stuff towards me and then very kindly said to the person that walked in behind me "hello sir, how are you doing tonight" she helped him and followed with "have a wonderful night sir" she made me feel like a nuisance and the way she kept hitting my fit with the broom was unbelievable. Watch the cameras if you would like to see "young woman being attacked by cumbys worker with a broom" unbelievable! Absolutely will never forget this.

i been going to this cumberland farms since i moved to norwich in 1984. i have seen employees come…read moreand go but never have i been robbed by an employee until right around 6:30 pm 4/28/2024. i like to keep my gas above half a tank, for some reason it lasts longer when its above half, but anyway a new kid curly hair tall skinny glasses working i go in get my coffee give him 10 bucks in quarters - counted twice at home and then again at the register he counted 4 i counted 6 then he put his hand on it said yup 10 dollars i said for the coffee and the rest on one, i go out to pump and it stops at 5.27 i go back in ask why he said you only gave me 8 i said no i gave you 10, i said the coffee was 1.83 so i should have 8 dollars and 17 centsokay i'll count the quarters in the drawer knowing that i was outside pumping gas and 3-4 people cashed out before i walked back in to complain so the kid puts 2 more dollars when it should have been 3.17 so i go back in again to correct the kid again i told him exactly what he did and he still tried to say i only gave him 8. i know its only a few bucks but i don't care if its a few pennies watch the surveilance tape for around if the camera is in the right position you will see i counted 10 dollars worth of quarters out. i work with numbers every day and i don't get it wrong

This lady comes up behind me who had quarters to pay and because the clerk needed quarters for change took her over me sorry I am a paying customer too the number buying guy turns around tells me I am wrong and how he was going to take his time and I gotta wait now I told him so I don't care. I am still a paying customer just like her l. Yes I was upset I waited for the Ahole with his forever numbers. Fat boy number guy could've stepped aside clerk could've completed my transaction and took The quarter lady after. The clerk said due to situational circumstances nah bruh um still a paying customer. I love this store. I am a usual customer so each employee remembers me and my mom and knows exactly…read morewhat we are going to buy. They are on the phone most of the time and sometimes it's awkward but they do acknowledge everyone. Since they are always on the phone, and you ask about something behind the counter, such as vape bars and cigarettes, they do stop talking to help you with what you need. I read the other review here, talking about them being rude for being on the phone is not true. They are not rude at all. I assume they only went there once since they didn't like going there, but if you only go there once, then you don't really know how it is. This gas station and store is my and my mom's and boyfriend's go to store.
