My family and I have visited this park many times. There is plenty of room for the kids to run around and enjoy the playground. One thing I don't like is how the adults always hog the handball courts. It makes it impossible for the kids to ever play their kid handball anywhere. I wish there was a way to reserve the courts or limit the usage for each court to allow others to have a chance to play too. The City of Buena Park recently hosted Easter 2026 here and it was wonderful. The park was large enough for different set ups. Even though there was a great turn out, there was sufficient room to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. It was nice seeing the park transformed into an event space. read more

Henry Boisseranc Park spans 20 acres and is named after the farmer and landowner who provided the land for the park. There are multiple tennis courts, basketball courts, handball courts, baseball fields, restrooms, and two kids playgrounds. It also has a swimming pool which is something I don't see often at other parks. The park is also a place for summer camps. There are multiple large grassy areas and during the summer it's used to place outdoor stages for events. During the summer there are free concerts every Wednesday during June and July. This is a really nice and big park that has a lot of amenities. read more

What can I say,this park it a family friendly park. I can share from coming to many City of Buena Park events it has plenty of parking,spacious gazebos that can be rented for bday parties a basket,softball fields,handball courts,and soon to arrive Pickle ball! The playground for Kids is very convenient for families that want to take shade under the big trees or sit on the benches. Aside from these amenities the pool recently got renovated and they offer swimming lessons. The bathrooms are always kept clean,Jean the Maintenance Manager prides himself on this. Again, you can enjoy a bday party,walk your dog,have a friendly soccer game,or just stroll around as its stroller friendly probably one of my favorite parks, there's always something fun to do here. This park is mostly for children and families. But I used to play basketball with some of the youngsters at this park when I lived in Cypress. They have other courts too. Nice little picnic spots to barbecue. Not very big either. Remind me of some of the parks in Westminster. Its still a good park to hang out at. read more

Nice big park with lots of amenities like- 4 handball courts 3 full basketball courts 3 baseball diamonds 4 tennis courts 2 children's play area Swimming pool- not open Big parking lot There are lots of picnic benches and 2 gazebos. Restrooms were open by baseball area. The park was a little dirty and looked a little dicey. The park person stopped by to pick up water bottles.....The people should just clean up after themselves. The city did a great job with doing the concerts in the park this year. No other parks offered them during the covid shutdown. You call and make reservations. They sprayed circles on the lawn to keep people distant from each other. You show up give you name and then find a circle to use for the night. The city of Buena Park has very good Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween events at this park. The park itself has several playgrounds, soccer field, Baseball diamonds etc. This was our second Easter egg hunt event at this park. It was as enjoyable this year as it was a couple of years ago. The standard kiddie attractions like Tattoo's, Balloon shapes, Petting zoo, Bouncers, games, etc. were super fun for our son. He was able to throw pennies into a glass of water, rings around rubber ducks and shoot a ball through the hoop. He had fun doing this :) There was a Firetruck and the crew were sooo hospitable. The highlight ofcourse was the Egg hunt. There were ample eggs for ALL the kids. Ian was a supremely happy (and tired) camper after couple of Hours of absolute fun filled activities. Kudos to the volunteers, and BP city officials who made the event a very special day for our son. If you live in this neighborhood, mark your calendar for the 2 events and bring your toddlers here. Children have to pay $1 for almost two hours of open swim. Floatation devices are only allowed if you are taking swimming lessons. Jumping off the diving board is required as part of the class but I never completely conquered my acrophobia. My instructor was a cute water polo player from the local high school. This has ball fields and basketball courts but I've never seen them because I spent my summers in the swimming pool. My parents are watching The Platters here tonight! read more

Calling all Pokémon trainers! I love this park! Went here last night and it's a nesting area for Dratini! Really fun here! Everyone walks around and when someone finds it, they call it out for everyone else to catch it! BUT PLEASE DON'T SCREAM ON TOP OF YOUR LUNGS... got kicked out early at 11pm by the cops because people were being too loud... I'm definitely coming back again to catch some more Datrini! 3 poke stops, 2 gyms and plenty of parking space. There's some in front and on the right side has more parking! Great place to hatch eggs too because you have to walk around to find the Dratini. Other pokemon I've found here from 9pm-1130pm: growlthe, geodude, cubone, ekans, sandscrew, mankey, ponyta, 1 tauros, ryhorn, onix and of course Dratini! Lots of variety! If you're sick and tired of pigeys and rattatas, come to this park! There are none of those here! There's also a restroom here and plenty of benches and resting places to hang out! So glad it's only 15 minutes from my house! read more

Dratini spawns every half hour or so but there are hours where four spawns at the same time! There are two gyms where you can stand safely and battle with your friends! "Go team Mystic!" There are also three Poke Stops where you can restock on your supplies! Parking can be tough nowadays due to Pokemon trainers wanting to be the very best! I caught a Raichu here and finally evolved my Dragonair into a Dragonite! :D Of course it is an ordinary park with softball fields, aquatic center, and your average play set for the kids. Very dusty! If you're allergic I would recommend to pass on this park or if anything a face mask. Definitely recommend this place!!! read more

This is a fairly nice park. They have batting cages and party booths and a playground for children. I've never personally attended but I've heard that once a week during the summer I believe, they have free bands playing. I've come here for my sister's kiddie party and it was nice. Lots of trees. She's also come here for the children events and Easter egg hunting. All free services. If anything, just bring your own toilet paper because they never have any in the bathrooms haha. read more

I was at this park recently for my baby sister's and her husband's baby shower. (They're expecting their first child sometime in July!) We had our get-together with about 40 other people at one of the covered picnic areas, complete with a barbecue grill. This park has a number of amenities, including baseball fields, basketball courts, a children's play area, handball courts, tennis courts, swimming pool and a community building (closed the day we were there). There is ample parking all around the park. It's very well kept and clean, a big plus. A good park to come to during one of our many sunny days in Southern California. read more

A dog park was added semi-recently which is hidden behind the tennis ball courts. There are hardly any dogs there every time I go. Even on Saturday in the middle of the day. The dog park provides poop bags and has a water fountain which is dog level and human level ;0) Strategically placed behind a tennis courts for stray tennis balls! It would be cooler if there were more dogs. I think the park needs more trees. There is not a lot of shade for these hot summer days. Other than that I'm glad there is a dog park so close! read more

Decent park. I usually come for tennis, but every now and then the courts are taken by ppl playing soccer. Can be pretty annoying. They've destroyed all the net anchors cuZ they kick the ball into the net so hard. The city has done a pretty good job of repairing them though and they put in some benches too. read more

This park has three pokestops to get your walk on and two gyms to show up who da best. Also, non stop Dratini farming left my feet tired the next day. I think Dratinis starts spawning in the evening. I was able to get parking at a pokestop at 6:30pm. Get them while they here! read more

It's a pretty good sized community park with all the amenities mentioned in various other reviews. A handball court is available which is rare. The park is nice, and clean and they host free concerts during the summer which is awesome. Its pretty flat, there aren't any hills (or at least major ones). The grass is patchy and there isn't much shade. Those are about the only two real drawbacks otherwise its a mighty fine park. read more

This is an excellent park. We met several nice people here. It's great for kids and even has a pool! There are several different playgrounds in a very short distance from one another so you don't have to walk for miles to find something interesting to do for your kids. There are some expansive basketball courts and the park backs up to a nice residential neighborhood. There is also a baseball diamond or two in the area along with several shelters and grilling areas. There are a couple of tennis and handball courts. Great park! read more

Visited the park for the first time with a friend that just moved to the neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised. The preschoolers played on the jungle gyms, the older kids got in the community pool with 2 slides, and the moms sat under the tree where we could supervise both areas. read more
