    Henry's Donuts!

Normally in the morning big selection. But in the afternoon minimal choices. Sold out popular donuts. My favorite Bacon Marple bar but sold out. Steady business. Open 3am through 6pm. Large orders call one day in advance. Take out Only. Please wear mask and 6 ft distance all time

I'm always a sucker for a great tasty donut. I like the fritters here. They are fried to perfection.

I'd rather go to Haggen to get donuts. The cinnamon glazed twist donut was fluffy and seemed fresh, however it lacked flavor and was more bready tasting with not a lot of cinnamon. Also, my Bismark did not have a lot of filling. But honestly, I feel like a lot of Bismark donuts these days are barely filled with any cream.

This is our 2nd time trying this doughnut shop...the first time was questionable but this time was just bad. The chocolate sprinkled donut and apple fritter tasted old as if it had been fried twice! I took photos, they don't look appetizing by any means. The service was lacking as well... No Hi! No Bye! No Thanks! for buying our expensive crappy donut. The other donuts looked good though...but after this experience we'll definitely go to Safeway instead. Taste much better and fresh for sure.

    This is an apple fritter.

Ok so if you look at this picture and you are a big apple fritter fan you can see this is just all wrong on all levels. The color, the size and the crispness just all of it was horrible. I only took one bite which you can see in the picture and tossed it away. Not only was it not an apple fritter BUT they had the nerve to send me five stale donuts! Did they think I wouldn't know they are sending me old donuts?! It was so GROSS I had to toss them all away. If you really need donuts like I did just get the maple bars or chocolate bars those were pretty good. Stay away from the apple fritters though!

The donut's were good. I still haven't decided if the owner was a jerk or had a very dry sense of humor...

Made me wait in a empty store. No regular donuts, only bars and bigger specialty donuts. Prices too high.

Seriously. The prices are not shown so you might feel hesitant but nothing at this store would be super expensive. And the front lady can provide you with information when you ask. I believe their huge sugar donut is 80c or $1 according to my printed receipt. My kids and hubby like the bread with sugar dough on top, this bread is rather dense and dry in my opinion but good flavor. The lady said that they make fresh corn tortillas on weekends that I'm looking forward to get them next weekend. They didn't have the tortillas because the machine was broken. I was also informed that the bread and donuts are made at the store. They sell traditional tamales and chicharones, they have fresh prepared cactus, raw milk, queso fresco and all for authentic Mexican dishes. Update: apparently they only carry donuts a few times a week. I have gone back to the store 3 times the past week to get more sugar donuts and didn't see any. Today, I finally got them! And they were fresh falling as you pick up which is even better. I asked the front lady when next? It will probably next Thursday.

The grocery carries spices, canned products, bottled sauces, dairy, frozen meats, baked goods and some gift items. A lady greeted me as I walked in and I could immediately tell she spoke very little English, but she was very nice as I struggled with my rusty Spanish. I had seen signs posted on the front windows that they sold Tamales daily and Carnitas on Saturdays and Sundays only. She called her granddaughter (?) from the back room to assist me. They had a food display case with pork carnitas, pork ribs, stewed pork skin and chicharron (fried pork rind). They charge by the pound for the first three items and per piece on the chicharron. I chose all three except the chicharron "to go" and it came to $12.95. We were able to make four burritos just on the carnitas and skin and three ribs. Not a bad deal. The carnitas was full of flavor, tender and very juicy. The ribs were well seasoned and just as tender. I didn't think I would like the stewed pork skin, but it was very good! I will definitely be back another weekend for more and I will try their Tamales next time!

The reason for the 1 star is these were not cheap cakes (which we expected for custom cakes) my daughter's cake was disgusting none of the kids wanted to eat it. The cake was vanilla cake with cherry filling and then the purple buttercream/cream cheese (cant remember which) fondant (icing). The actual cake part was hard and dry like it had been sitting out since it had been made and the fondant tasted like it had gone bad. Even with what happened with the 1st one my fiance wanted to try it again and thought that it was just the way we had ordered the 1st one (last minute throwing ideas together), so we order his son's cake. Originally for the 2nd cake my stepson wanted a chocolate cheesecake for his birthday and we were told in store that they could do it but we needed to email the owner, so i did. The owner said that wasnt something they could do and sent me a list of cake flavors, fillings and icing to pick from. So we chose funfetti cake, fudge filling and buttercreme (frosting) in the design of a race car track. As pictured, when we recieved the cake the fondant was pulling apart (which we didnt notice till after we had gotten it home) no big deal right, the fudge filling tasted off, this time the cake was moist however didnt taste like funfetti cake, to where the only thing the kids ate on that one was the fondant. I'm deeply upset at the amount of money we spent on cakes that we ended up just wasting because no one would eat them. I appreciate them taking the time to make these cakes however we will not be coming back.

There were a couple of people ahead of me in line but service was quick. Lots of savory and sweet pastries to choose from - the massive cinnamon roll caught my eye, and I couldn't resist not getting it, also got the twice baked almond croissant and a kouign amann. I ate the kouign amann soon as I got into my car - it was the perfect amount of sweetness and flakiness, albeit a bit small in size despite being around the same price point as the croissant and cinnamon roll. Unfortunately was not a big fan of the cinnamon roll. Though the roll itself was pillowy soft upon reheating it in the microwave a bit, it lacked the amount of cinnamon that you would expect, and the frosting on top tasted like cake frosting with it almond extract in it and was far too sweet. I had to scrape most of it off. Almond croissant was also just okay - filling was on the sweeter side and croissant itself just didn't taste very fresh.
