So yesterday morning very early around 5:00 I had a hankering for an apple fritter. I've been seeing Henry's donuts in my feed for sometime so I decided to stop. I am so glad that I did. They make an amazing apple fritter. It was fresh and warm had a lovely glaze over the top great flavor as I'm writing this my mouth is starting to water. I would love to go here every day but I don't think my waist line would take it. I will definitely go back and buy a dozen for my staff so they can enjoy Henry's donuts as well. I hope they're around for a long time, because I plan on visiting as often as I can possibly afford the calories! read more

The donuts are old. I'm upset because the Henry donuts is Everett is so good and you can smell the freshness but this place I wanted to give a chance since it's close to home so I went and the people were nice and the donuts look good but now that I'm at home I rather drive an extra 20 min to get the fresher ones at the other Henry's or somewhere else. I'd rather go to Haggen to get donuts. The cinnamon glazed twist donut was fluffy and seemed fresh, however it lacked flavor and was more bready tasting with not a lot of cinnamon. Made me wait in a empty store. No regular donuts, only bars and bigger specialty donuts. Prices too high.

This is our 2nd time trying this doughnut shop...the first time was questionable but this time was just bad. The chocolate sprinkled donut and apple fritter tasted old as if it had been fried twice! I took photos, they don't look appetizing by any means. The service was lacking as well... No Hi! No Bye! No Thanks! for buying our expensive crappy donut. The other donuts looked good though...but after this experience we'll definitely go to Safeway instead. Taste much better and fresh for sure. read more

Ok so if you look at this picture and you are a big apple fritter fan you can see this is just all wrong on all levels. The color, the size and the crispness just all of it was horrible. I only took one bite which you can see in the picture and tossed it away. Not only was it not an apple fritter BUT they had the nerve to send me five stale donuts! Did they think I wouldn't know they are sending me old donuts?! It was so GROSS I had to toss them all away. First off I love donuts. I stopped in today (6/15/23) and was extremely disappointed. I have went to other Henry's locations and am usually very pleased. My favorite is an apple fritter, that's what I always get. The fritters at this location were half the size of the other locations. I ask the man why the small donuts, he laughed and said smaller fritter, smaller price. Against my better judgement, I bought one. I took one bit and could not believe how bad it tasted. It was so bad, no way i could take a second bite. Since the last time I was there they have sacrificed size and especially quality and taste for whatever reason. I personally do NOT mind paying whatever price to get good donuts. I could even deal with the size, but not when it tastes so horrible. Do not go to this location. I purchased a dozen donuts and my kids each had one and we ended up throwing away the rest of them. The service was fine but nothing great. The donuts are good size! They are heavy and as another foodie posted, greasy. We got ours around 10 am. I'm thinking if we got them earlier, right after they were made they may have been better. They taste fine, not doughy they are cooked through, they are just a very heavy donut. The custard filled had a nice balance of custard all the way through the donut. To be honest... Henry's donuts are by far the greasiest donut I have ever tried. Just one bite, and you will be literally biting into a soaked, drenched in greasy donut. I got the Honey glazed, my husband got a apple fritter. I don't know if it was that the owner had an off day preparing it, but I haven't gone back ever since. I always get their twist & bacon donut and it has always been good. However the last time I ordered my regular 3 bacon and 2 twists and they were so oily and inedible. There's a very clear difference between oil and glaze but this was just pure oil oozing out the donuts. I dabbed with tissue because I wanted to eat them so bad and not have to go through a complaint. I attributed this craziness to me ordering late, like 15mins before they closed and called the store to explain what had happened. I didn't want a refund I just wanted her to see how the donuts really were and possibly exchange them. The lady became agitated stating that she wouldn't sell another batch to me because it would be the same. I said heck no, I order this at least 3 times a week since I was stationed in Marysville for work and i never had a bad donut to their credit. I also mentioned that I had met someone completely new on that day but she was like it's always the same baker and didn't want to fear another return in a very rude and uncompromising manner. This was very odd to me because the lady in question sees me at her location and I had never complained or returned baked goods until my last encounter. I got a refund upon returning the donuts today and found another Henry's in the Everett area (had no idea) which was nice. I guess I won't be returning here. Overall, on a good day they have pretty nice donuts but on a bad day, i wouldn't expect to receive the most empathic customer care or service. Pictures attached. read more

NOT the same Henry's as in the Everett shop which is excellent. This Henry's products, IMO, taste as though made from a mix, not scratch, no better than your average grocery store bakery. I am a donut aficionado and have been to every donut shop from Everett to Anacortes - this is a 2-3 star donut shop. I totally support small family businesses, especially independent bakeries, but they need to up their game. read more
