Luckily when we arrived, there was more than plenty to choose from. The owner greeted us as we walked in and he was absolutely delightful. We were so indecisive as we haven't ever seen this many variety of doughnuts, there wasn't a regular doughnut flavor to be found! There were so many different flavor profiles with textures or without. The names were also so creative and charming. The owner was telling us about the chocolates that he sells to and let us sample an Ube white chocolate oreo and I couldn't give my boyfriend more than a quarter of a bite cause it was so yummy! Absolutely love the creativity and fusions of flavors the owner has, it's unique and one of a kind! He also has gluten free, vegan and sugar free doughnuts and chocolates and continuing to find more ways to cater to other dietary restrictions which is so considerate. He canm also make amazing drinks, hot and savory foods, and much more if you're not feeling doughnuts. Additionally, the store is dog friendly and he even has a few small boxes of themed dog doughnuts that are readily available. He even has a dog water for dogs to quench their thirst which is always appreciated. The owner saw our dogs and talked about them as well as his own dog who sounds so fun and sweet. The decor is very fun and charming as well! I love the Dragon Ball art of whom I assume is the owner or maybe Zuri? There is plenty of different Star Wars decor which I loved. There is even an arcade cabinet and a big TV to play different things for customers. I also love the blue that you see in the store, it fits the vibes of the store, products and owner. We had to sit down and try the doughnuts right there and then as I knew if we brought them into the car, our dogs would try to get a taste too. I got the Seahawks themed doughnut with pandan and blueberry which I have never tried those two together. My boyfriend got the expresso ring doughnut. The doughnuts were some of the best that we've ever had as the flavors come through, it was so soft and the perfect amount of sweetness where you won't have to worry about your blood sugar levels too much. Honestly, if we weren't going to an event and could eat more sweets, we were so tempted to buy more and just chat with the owner as you can tell he genuinely loves making all these amazing creations, wants to support the community, and is just a fun individual. At least it seemed that way since they still had a full tray at 4PM. While Seattle seems to be full of niche donut establishments with lines out the door, you'll catch me at The Factory. A tried and true Donut Destination that will never let you down. I've tried most of 'em, and they hit every time. Bring a few home for someone and you will make their day.

More recently, I picked up a box and enjoyed how fluffy the donuts were, everything was fresh, airy, and light while balancing a slight crispy exterior. The one drawback I think is that most of their donuts are too sweet. While everything else is addicting, the sweetness can quickly catch up and make you feel sick of sugar. Then again, the fluffy, airy texture is so addicting, so it's an internal battle.

They also have a great variety of beverages available too. Espresso, teas, and milk teas as examples. The mocha has improved, very coffee forward and not cloyingly sweet. Just needs to be hotter temp wise, but that's just me. My favorite go tos has been variable depending on availability, but recent visits have been their ham and cheese croissants. I greatly appreciate the offer to have it warmed up if dining onsite. It's just a strange pairing to place such tasty pastries on a paper plate and then provided flatware, knife & fork or just a fork. Latte: Depending on which adolescence barista is on bar, they either let the machine automatically steam your milk, or have the confidence to do it themselves. Lucky for me, it seems like mine was handmade--it was okay. I asked and they said they use a medium roast. If you're not looking to gamble the quality of your latte or cappuccino, then I'd recommend getting the iced variant. Korean Milk Coffee: Very nice and refreshing--specifically this summer season. Not too sweet. Inside is spacious with ample seatings. I came in the morning so service was prompt and had no issues finding a table. They have pretty typical Korean bakery fare and pricing seems to be just a bit higher than competitors, probably somewhere around a 10% premium compared to similar family owned bakeries. On my visit I got two pastries to try: Soboro Cream ($3.49) - Instead of a delicately crackly cookie crust, this bun has a much softer, almost moist topping, which may be due to them placing the bread in the packaging before being fully cooled off, allowing the bun to steam too much. There's a bunch of sweetened stabilized cream inside that's sweet and oily. The bread itself is kind of dry and crumbly, either not a typical milk bread recipe or perhaps it had been sitting on the shelf for too long. (2/5) Corn Mochi ($5.99) - This comes with six pieces. The corn mochi has a nice chewy tapioca flour base. There's black sesame sprinkled throughout giving a burst of nutty flavor. I expected to see whole corn kernels baked inside but I think they just use corn flour in the dough. It's way less sweet than the soboro. Texturewise, the inside is bouncy while the outside has a harder baked crust. (4/5) Overall Le Bon Patisserie is a pretty average Asian grocery store-paired bakery. It's more of a place to buy bread for convenience rather than anything special, but it does the job decently well.

La Bon's milk bread is literally the worst white bread I have EVER tasted. It's worst than any grocery store brand and tastes like paper mache, wait, no.... I ate paper mache as a kid and this is far far worse. The pure and utter sadness I feel every time I put a piece of that shitty white cardboard into my mouth is worthy of a country western song.
