    Two tier cake.

40minutes after I left the bakery this happens. The top part slipped off and next thing you know the entire cake crumbles. I was so stressed out on because I spent so much on the cake for my son first birthday and I had to cancel everything and change it to today so I can contact the bakery. She said there was nothing she can do about it and that it has never happened before but I am reading reviews right now and the cake crumbling has happened to many other customers. This is the only bakery that offers pandan and ube flavor that's why I ordered. Lying to your customers now is wrong. The drive is also 55mins from where I am at. Imagine doing all that to make time for party only to cancel.

This has been coming up in my feed lately so I thought I would give it a try. I bought an array of things so we could cut them all up and try them. The star of the show for me was the maple bar and chocolate filled croissant. Both of them were so good. The bao bun was OK. I loved the bun itself the filling was where it fell a little short. The pistachio filled doughnut was a big miss for me. We all agreed that the doughnut itself was fantastic. The filling was where it fell short. It tasted like a super fake form of pistachio pudding. Overall though it was very good and I look forward to trying other things from there.

What a delight (see what I did there...) to have this bakery nearby. Gigantic selection. Staff is always nice and helpful when I ask what every single thing in the case is. There's always a new flavor combo to try. A little pricey, but good for an every now and then treat. 10/10 will return.

If you're craving something sweet, this spot needs to be on your list. They've got an awesome lineup of baked goods and pastries, but the real stars are the donuts -- both the classic styles and the extra "fun" creations that feel like a mini adventure with every bite. Walking in is an experience on its own -- it genuinely smells like heaven in there. And the people? Fantastic. Friendly, upbeat, and you can feel the pride they put into their work. Great treats, great vibes, great service. Definitely a local gem!

When we crave a great donut (Despi Delite Bakery) is the place we drive to. Even though it's a 20 minute drive for us. We will gratefully get in the car and take the drive. Our faves are bacon maple bar, maple old fashion, and all the rest....lol Sorry, we ate the rest before we got home to take a pic of them all. These are the only remaining donuts.

VERY Happy with my 9 year old nephew's custom birthday "outer space" sheet cake, matching 8" round and cake pops! Not only did they look spectacular, they tasted incredible. So happy!

The whipped cream the cherry filling and a fabulous moist chocolate cake! Thank you! 56th birthday is a hit!

So thankful I took a minute to try the donut shop at the south end of Broadway Yum Yum super delicious and the young girls work. There were nice enough to help me through whatever questions I had. We will definitely be back.

It all looks sooooooo good. And there is soooooo much to choose from. Unfortunately, only the donuts were good. We would not return.

I've been wanting to try Despi bakery for so long. We finally got there today around 2:00 pm NYE. They close at 3:30 today. They didn't have much options left. We settled for a glazed donut, apple fritter and Spanish bread. They were all delicious! Next time, we will come early to check out the other options. They also sell their cakes by the slice. We will try the Ube cake next! Yum!

The pitas were solid, I would recommend the wheat one since it tasted just as good so might as well get that extra fiber! Nice chew to them and neutral flavor to pair well with your dip/filling of choice. Croissants were super flaky and buttery. I wasn't paying attention and expected the chocolate to be more like your standard pain Au chocolate with the dark chocolate but the one I chose was actually truly a chocolate cream filling (very full!) more like the cake frosting in fancy cakes. All quite messy, happy I chose to eat out of my trunk in the parking lot not inside the car. There's only a bench for seating in the bakery itself. The knafeh I baked at home in the air fryer (fit just perfectly) and this was my favorite part which I think I would most come back here for. We had this a couple of times in Istanbul earlier this year and at the time I thought, "Americans would LOVE this, cheesy, crunchy, some salty, and sweet a how is this not more readily available?" Now I know where to go! Ran into the owner and he was super sweet and appreciative of us for stopping - he's taking his celebrity very well! Pro tip if you're into pop culture things, Everett is also the home of Funko Pop HQ and they have a really quirky store to visit on the ground level that's only like 12 min away if you're looking for more things to do if you've come from somewhat far and don't want to immediately turn around and head home.

Wow, what a god send of a bakery! A complete GF bakery?!?! Yayyyy!!…read more I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked...Dairy free means no milk, cream, yogurt, butter etc. so I look for labels that says DV, V. Everything is automatically certified gluten free and there is no worry on cross contamination. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour the website tells all. There's also paleo, keto options. As someone who hasn't been eating butter based pastries due to doctor's orders, this bakery is like finding gold. Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big chocolate chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these! I enjoyed these so much they were so moist and delicious but what I love most is the chewy bits on the edge. My hubby is a chocolate fiend but he usually get sluggish and sick to his stomach after inhaling a large chocolate pastry from other bakery. He ate their large size classic chocolate chip cookie and it didn't bother him. Tasted amazing too! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis while supplies last. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the $23.50 is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is the best artisan toast eating experience. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. Appreciate also they provide on the package specific care instructions for the best experience. For the price, I made sure we wash our hands and did all the suggested prep needed. My only critique would be transparency on pricing in store and on website. It was mildly shocking when the register total was in the $80 range after 2 sourdough loaves and 6 pastries before tip. After eating it, we realized it's actually worth every penny. Good at a different level. Maybe if they have a daily special would be nice to bring in more people? Well, we will come back regardless! Love this new bakery find!!

Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.
