Was in the store Tuesday June 10 and had a most horrible experience with one of the female sales…read moreassociates - I say sales associate because "customer service representative" is definitely not appropriate for this woman. I've been "helped" by her before and had the same experience, so I doubt it was coincidence that she was having another off day. I came into the store to return a defective item, and there were two women standing there chatting - I was not greeted when I came in and they made no effort to see if I needed any help - I had to approached them and interrupt their conversation (there were no customers in the store). Then one of them decided to acknowledge my presence and proceeded to tell me that the item that was broken was "not their problem, you broke it, not us". I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this store and have never returned anything, so when I come in with a product that literally broke the first time I tried to use it, that is not the response to offer. I pretty much said that, she made a phone call, and whoever was on the phone told her to take the return (which I exchanged btw for a more expensive item and paid the difference). This sort of "service" seems to be a bit of a theme in reading the reviews, and as much as I am a loyal Henry's customer, I will really think twice about coming back to Oakville because of this woman's attitude. Perhaps she's family and cannot be reprimanded, but if I owned the store, I'd make sure she knows her attitude is an issue!

Well somehow it was was purchased from a grey haired gentleman at ponds that assured her the camera she was buying was a much better even though they carry the Canon brand. But I was told that if I had ANY ISSUES come down and they would explain the camera for me. I wanted to return it immediately but I was told to give it a few days and try it out and see if I liked it. So New Year's Eve I tried the camera, all the pictures came out looking quite strange in fact I myself came out looking like A different nationality. I mean some people like looking as if they slathered self tanner all of them but not me. So I decided that day I was returning that camera. But life doesn't always go as planned things and with a constant string of things going wrong I wasn't able to make it down to Ponds. I also didn't know I could go ahead five day return policy, that's mainly why I told the person above me the camera to go to the big box store who has a 30 day return policy. Even with saying that, it was a Christmas gift and most of those days in between the date it was bought in the day I got it that was five days. I had no chance with this camera. So I finally made it downtown, drove around for 45 minutes to find a parking spot then to pay for parking. Go inside try to basically explain to the grey hair man why I've taken so long to come to store and explain what my issues were like the camera hijacks my internet and the extremely long transfer times while the house has no internet. But he said that what you get for high quality it's not like your phone. I just wanted help. They agreed to take the camera at a reduced price because it was used, I admit I cried.. I had a head ache and he never said he was the one that originally helped sell this camera. But he very quickly offered a camera that was so much more expensive. I'm stuck with this camera because I got a head injury and I was under so much stress because of my life that I decided to put the camera away and deal when I could. I went in for help was treated poorly because I know nothing about cameras, that's right that's why I was there for help. I'm glad I was there to be ignored for every customer that walked in the door. It explains how you knew I wanted removable lens. I did return to trade in this camera as Mike (grey hair man) had offered a $400 trade in, four days later it dropped to $250 because apparently I paid $550 which I did not, the lady that was spent time explaining cars losing value and cameras can't be sold for much used and I paid $550. Ponds wrote an 8% discount for each item, now most people would think cool 8% off but what a strange number or just the right amount for a tax exempt card. Which is not a discount.

Buyer Beware. The tube store offers a free shipping option that just says "post" 1-3 weeks. Turns…read moreout that means "air parcel post" and it can take more than 6 weeks for two little tubes to arrive. I'm going on week 7 and still have not received my order. The tube store says they can't help me; it's my fault because I chose the free shipping option. I paid for the tubes and never received them. I won't make that mistake again. UPDATE: After I posted this review a different customer service rep contacted me. He said they sent the tubes to the wrong address and would send another set. They arrived pretty quickly, so now I have the tubes I ordered. I guess just don't use their free shipping option; if your order is lost they can't trace it.

Initially, I emailed the store requesting to print three 11x17 posters. Shortly after, I received a call from the store informing me that they could only print the posters in 11x14. Though it was not my preferred size, I agreed to it and was assured that I would only be charged $20.99 instead of the original $29.99. When I arrived to pick up my prints the next day, I was taken aback when the owner made a point of telling me that the prints were done in 11x14.5, claiming they couldn't do 11x14. This was a complete surprise to me, as it was not what I had agreed to. The night before, I had texted a friend expressing my concern that 11x14 might be too small but that I would try to make it work. To add insult to injury, the owner informed me that I would now need to purchase custom frames, which is extremely inconvenient. Then, to top it all off, she charged me $29.99 per print, completely disregarding the price adjustment we had discussed. I managed to salvage two of the prints by cutting them down myself, but the third print was a total disaster. No matter how I tried to frame it, part of the image would always be cut off. After a week of futile attempts with different frames, I decided to call the store to politely ask if they could reprint just one of the posters. The response I received was nothing short of outrageous. I was met with a rude, nasty, and disrespectful woman who cut me off mid-sentence, rudely telling me that I would need to pay for it. She didn't let me explain my situation and hung up on me twice! This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable. I even told her that this is no way to speak to customers and replied with " i don't care and hung up the phone!' I am utterly disgusted by how I was treated. The store failed to deliver on the agreed-upon size, price, and service. They provided misleading information, made changes without my consent, and then showed a complete lack of willingness to resolve the issue. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. The service is terrible, the staff is disrespectful, and they clearly do not value their customers. I have never been treated so poorly by a business and I will never return to Millennium Photo Save your money and take your business to a place that actually respects its customers and delivers what they promise
