Wow, what a find. We stop in here every chance we get. The plot twist....its in a gas station. The food is fantastic and for a gas station, it's Uber clean. We started with their tamales. Fantastic. Like the best I've had in a long time. The tamale itself was soft and tasted great. I could have eaten five of them. They are topped with pork that is so flavorful, I cannot even put it into words. Next up was their cubano sandwich. Fantastic. The bread was crispy and the meats, including that incredible pork was just perfect. I've had cubanos before, but this one was exceptional. Just the right meat to bread ratio. We finished with their Maduros. These are sweet plantains cooked perfectly. The sweetness melts in your mouth. Fantastic. Bottom line, don't judge a book by its cover. It might be in a gas station, but the food is great. Give it go whether you are Cuban or not. You will love it.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I was pleasantly surprised to find such a large area within a gas station designated as a restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was craving cafe con leche with buttered Cuban toast--it hit the spot. They have a great selection of foods, pastries, drinks! A lot more than I expected from a spot like this but I am so glad I found it! And it looks like they're on grubhub too!

After months of searching for good tasting Cuban food, we decided to drive to Palm Bay to Checkout Henry's Cuban cafe for hot food. We've been to their satellite location to get breakfast items but didn't offer hot food. This location is inside a gas station. That ladies working the counter were very friendly and attentive. They had the hot food visible to make your decision easier. That had ropa vieja, picadillo, tamales, pork chunks, and desserts. You can eat there as they have a few tables or you can order to go like we did. The food was great tasting. Big portions. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Cuban food.

Excellent service. Restaurant is impeccably clean. However having had amazing Cuban food in south Florida this does not even come close. Cafe con leche. 4 out of 5 stars. Guava with cheese 4 out of 5 stars. Empanada 2.5 out of 5. Lunch 1/4 chicken meal with black beans yellow rice plaintains and 1/4 chicken 2 out of 5. Chicken 0 out of 5 very dry and no seasoning yellow rice 1 out of 5 no seasoning looks pretty but no taste. Beans 4 out of 5 has seasoning plaintains 3 out of 5. Overall okay a bit on pricey side but wouldn't go out of way. Convenience but food is just meh nothing fancy. Awesome service and cleanliness though!

First Timer! Passed this place for a year before we decided to stop. We ordered the pressed Cuban Sandwich. My first bite..I didn't believe my buds. Second bite I told my Husband "they didn't have to do us like this, but they did". That marinated shredded pork was UNBELIEVABLE, tender, flavorful. The Cuban Bread was the freshest! Our favorite spot from now on. Oh the establishment was Spotless as well.

Not from the area and came looking for a hood cuban. The restaurant is located inside a gas station convenience store so don't be discouraged that you're in the wrong place. Staff is super friendly. Regarding the food, the cuban I had was alright, nothing special but not the worst. Admittedly, they did pack it with meat but there wasn't much flavor to it compared to others i've had. The cheese was good but overall it was just a little dry.

Henry's Cuban Cafe is located in a gas station in Palm Bay, Florida. It is not far off on Interstate 95, so it can appeal to both locals and travelers of the highway. We were of the latter, heading back to Orlando from a business trip down to Fort Lauderdale. The interior is pretty straightforward and nothing fancy. In fact, you can see the design from the gas station that this was. The service here is extremely friendly, personable, outgoing and a definite benefit to this restaurant. I went with the rope vieja with rice, beans and yuca. I also ordered a papa rellena, which is a potato ball and a personal favorite of mine whenever I am in a Cuban restaurant. As a testimony of the personable staff, the woman behind the counter told us the translation of "ropa vieja" (which I already knew). I also asked for a hot sauce and the personable woman behind the counter handed me some and proclaimed it the "best in the world." Again, she truly is an asset to the restaurant. The hot sauce was definitely pretty good. Sadly though, the food itself was pretty mediocre. The yuca was good, the rice and beans were not too good and the rope vieja was, well, mediocre. My papa rellena was lacking in both the meat inside and the flavor overall. I will have to give it three stars.

Yummy Ropa Vieja with plantains and beans and rice.

Yummy food in a nice and clean convenience store setting - very clean with plenty of tables. Seemed to be a local hotspot.

The place is really nice. Lots of great decor, and a live stream of Key West on a TV screen that we sat near. Food was absolutely delicious. I got the Guava Jerk Sirloin. It was cooked beautifully. The sauce was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes were loaded and massive, and the broccoli tasted great. Couldn't finish it, so took it home! I also got the Cafe con Leche, and it was wonderful. Would come here again!

Two have chickpea as a source with the third no having a plant based source of protein in the dish. We confirmed with the server that the guacamole did not contain dairy so ordered the plantain chips and guac as an app- highly recommend. Then after having many other burgers/sandwiches on our trip I opted for the chickpea pasta with veggies and leaving off the parm to make it vegan. I appreciate the volume of veggies in the dish, though the sauce was a touch too oily. The main issue was the cooks WAY over cooked the chickpea pasta so when they tossed it with the sauce and veggies 2/3 of the pasta had broken apart...

It was perfection from beginning to end. From the friendly staff to the feel of sitting in a small cafe in Cuba, it was an experience to remember. Let's talk about the food. I had my third Cuban in three days and this one was easily the best and most authentic. The plantains with mojo criollo were incredible. My son's steak came with the most delicious dipping sauce that made parsley taste like far more than a garnish on the side of a plate. The side salads were so fresh and had the most wonderful pickled onions on top. My other son had salmon that was perfectly cooked and came with a side of quinoa like I've never tasted before. I had the absolute best mojito I have ever had, and to top off the meal I had a beautiful cafe con lèche that was perfection in a cup. This is most definitely a hidden gem. Seek it out if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. Your tastebuds will thank you.

It all tastes homemade in all the best ways. The roasted pork in the pressed Cuban was not neat little slices, it was juicy chunks of pernil made with talent and love. I'm already desperate to come back. Parking is limited. Service was surprisingly fast. Because you don't have to reinvent the wheel. This is a very generous portion of food for the price you're gonna pay . I don't mean they go heavy on rice and light on pork. Quite the contrary you are getting your bang for your buck with this meal and if you're still hungry, you're in luck because they have an assortment of desserts that are gonna satisfy that sweet tooth almost as much as that main plate Satisfies most hungers. I grew up eating Spanish food in the south Florida so I'm particular about where I spend my money and I assure you that from my liking and taste buds this place gets it right every time . Don't be shy about simply asking for a double portion of pork if you're trying to avoid carbs and enjoy their coffee first thing in the morning as well I had a great time here I've come back multiple times and I intend to continue coming back. When you first walk in it's located on the right hand side. The staff is completely bilingual, which I think is also neat giving the area and they always offer the best customer service. It feels like you're being greeted from someone welcoming you home.
