Merritt island location not listed yet, but you need to stop in. Yes it's in an old gas station, but worth the stop. Most authentic Cuban food on the island. You won't be disappointed.

Super yummy lunch special with pork

What a hidden gem that Yelp found me. It's in the gas station but they have their whole kitchen on the right hand side. When you walk in. They have pastries. They have a little coffee setup and of course they have sandwiches and lunch specials. I got the pork lunch special with beans and rice and the confusing for my photo. It is a nice portion of pork which is super tender and delicious and the beans and rice are fantastic and I ordered a couple of croquettes on the side and they are delicious as well. They run out of some stuff as the day goes on which is good. That means it's all fresh. I can't recommend this place enough. You're going to have to either get a fountain drink that you have to buy from the gas station or by one of the $1 bottle of waters at the gas station or a Coke or whatever you drink. That's if you don't drink Cafe Con leche or any of the fun coffee drinks.

Cafe con leche!! Empanadas!! Pastries! Wonderful people. Don't be fooled by the location in the gas station..the food here is amazing. Take your order & go across the street to the beach.

Lechon Asado and beans and rice.

Great lunch option. The Cuban sandwich is amazing and the pastries hit the spot every time.

Pan tostada y café con leche!

Perfect little stop for all your Cuban favorites! Pastelitos, papa/yuca rellena, Cuban sandwiches, pan con bistec. So glad they have this location in addition to their spot in Palm Bay!

The braised pork was some of the best I've ever had. The milkshakes were fantastic. The service was prompt and everyone was super polite.

This is what food should taste like. Every bite is a flavor explosion. I have eaten at high end…read morerestaurants that would be put to shame by this enchanting establishment. It was perfection from beginning to end. From the friendly staff to the feel of sitting in a small cafe in Cuba, it was an experience to remember. Let's talk about the food. I had my third Cuban in three days and this one was easily the best and most authentic. The plantains with mojo criollo were incredible. My son's steak came with the most delicious dipping sauce that made parsley taste like far more than a garnish on the side of a plate. The side salads were so fresh and had the most wonderful pickled onions on top. My other son had salmon that was perfectly cooked and came with a side of quinoa like I've never tasted before. I had the absolute best mojito I have ever had, and to top off the meal I had a beautiful cafe con lèche that was perfection in a cup. This is most definitely a hidden gem. Seek it out if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed. Your tastebuds will thank you.

The salmon and rice were nicely seasoned and a decent portion. Service was great. The restaurant is small but you don't feel crowded. There is a small parking lot on the side of the building and is walking distance from the beach.

The minute I knew I would be back in the area, I was determined to eat here again. The food was just as great as the first time. I had the spicy cuban sandwich and perfect. Although, I couldn't manage to eat it all. Now I understand why a nearby table ordered the same thing and split it between two people. The young woman that was working was an absolute sweetheart.

From a food standpoint alone, I'd absolutely come back. That said, the experience was a bit confusing and ended on a frustrating note. We weren't asked whether our order was for here or to go, and after ordering, our group of five sat down (we pulled together five chairs) and waited for our food. Despite that, everything came out in to-go packaging. When we walked in, we noticed other tables dining in had bottles with three different types of salsa available. However, we were only given a very small portion in a to-go container. I went up to grab a pineapple Jarrito and asked if we could use the salsa bottles since we were eating there. Instead, I was told no and that we had already been given to-go salsa--and they also tried to charge me extra for additional salsa. What made it more frustrating was that when I explained we were dining in, I was told that we had asked for our food to go, which wasn't the case. No one in our group was asked, and we had clearly sat down to eat inside. It felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive, especially since we brought in a group of five and spent over $70. The food was genuinely great, but the lack of communication and flexibility on the service side made the experience feel awkward and disappointing. I'd still recommend the place for the food, but hopefully the service improves.

The place is really nice. Lots of great decor, and a live stream of Key West on a TV screen that we sat near. Food was absolutely delicious. I got the Guava Jerk Sirloin. It was cooked beautifully. The sauce was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes were loaded and massive, and the broccoli tasted great. Couldn't finish it, so took it home! I also got the Cafe con Leche, and it was wonderful. Would come here again!

Two have chickpea as a source with the third no having a plant based source of protein in the dish. We confirmed with the server that the guacamole did not contain dairy so ordered the plantain chips and guac as an app- highly recommend. Then after having many other burgers/sandwiches on our trip I opted for the chickpea pasta with veggies and leaving off the parm to make it vegan. I appreciate the volume of veggies in the dish, though the sauce was a touch too oily. The main issue was the cooks WAY over cooked the chickpea pasta so when they tossed it with the sauce and veggies 2/3 of the pasta had broken apart...
