I talked to the owner, Kevin, before bringing it in. I decided to give them a chance. The tow truck arrived to pick it up, and the driver said, "those guys are the best!" He was correct. James and Kevin spent many, many hours with the diagnosis, communicating with me all the while. They did discover the problem and called me immediately. I was sort of terrified of what all their work would cost, but they worked with us, and we couldn't be more thrilled.

When $5300 becomes $6500 with replacements and repairs, it ain't such a bargain anymore. As stated before, $350 alone went to a pair of matching rear tires, because the existing ones were absolute garbage, and about as balanced as Honey Boo-Boo's dietary regimen. This and the other nagging stuff has already been discussed in my first review But a huge problem arose a few months in. The unusual newness of the passenger side steering rack boot led to the discovery of a MAJOR power steering leak, resulting in replacement of the entire rack and pinon. It was rotted and rusted through, and you can't service them, so it had to be replaced. Goodbye $700... And that's a GOOD deal to get your steering completely redone from outer tie rod to outer tie rod. I admittedly have no proof, but I do suspect that a new boot was put on to cover up the leak for long enough for me not to notice it... given how much fluid I was losing, how could they NOT notice it? But sure enough, I first noticed just days past the 30 day warranty. I partially blame myself for this, because I looked at this truck in the rain on an April evening... which may have masked the leak. Word to the wise: Never evaluate a vehicle at night or in the rain... never again. Overall, I'm still glad I have this Tundra. Like I said before, it's hard to find a regular-cab long bed with relatively low miles like mine, and the engine and transmission are absolutely perfect. But these are praises attributable to Toyota, not Markos. Sorry, but in hindsight, this truck purchase was no bargain, but I needed it, so I made a hasty decision, and am now facing the consequences. I don't even know what's gonna happen when I need brakes... This lower end is rustier than Brett Favre after his fourth NFL comeback.

I managed to drive far enough into the breakdown lane to feel like I wasn't going to be hit by an angry driver. One hour, a long phone call to AAA, a million tears and a short visit from a (very comforting) State Trooper later, I was in a tow truck driven by the kindest tow driver I've ever met. My poor car rode on a flatbed behind us, looking so sad with its two flat tires. We pulled up to the service station AAA recommended, only to be told that they were closing in an hour and would be closed the entire following week. Made sense, of course, as it was 4pm on the Friday before the 4th of July. I'd resigned myself to not having a car for the weekend, but for a solid week and a half? Eesh. Before I could start bawling again, though, my tow driver buddy Bill told me to hop back in the truck - he had an idea. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed. Frank, he said, it's Bill. I've got a girl here, needs two tires, hit something on the highway. She's pretty rattled. Are you open now? Are you there next week? Can we come on over? With that we were on our way to Markos Auto Center. By the time I climbed out of the tow truck's cab, Frank (Theofanis Markos, to be exact) was on the phone securing me two tires. He told me not to worry, that everything would work out, and sent me into his office to hang out with his funny, charismatic, sweet office manager, Robyn, and 4 dear old dogs. In less than two hours, everything was finished. My car had two brand-new tires. The other two had been rotated. Robyn made me laugh 'til my sides hurt. I got to pet some dogs. And Frank bought me (and everyone) treats from the ice cream truck. Oh, and prices were reasonable, too! You guys, in those two hours Markos won me over for life. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else for auto repairs. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Frank and Robyn (and Bill from AAA).

Roger got my '94 Virago purring & ready to go for riding season. My beauty of a bike is on her 32nd season, so parts are a bit difficult to come by. Also, you know, carburetors & whatnot. Just old bike things. It's hardly ever an easy task doing work on her - even just replacing the battery is a headache. But in Roger's words "you know me, I love to tinker with shit." He did far more than my meager request for him to just get her running, whatever it takes. He polished this, tightened that, un-dented this, re-wired that. The fairest price - $200 for parts & $300 for labor - hanging out with the cats & yapping with Roger was free of charge. Be sure to inquire about bike work before rolling in, but if they have space for you & your two wheels, this is the place to bring your beloved bike. Thank you Roger & cats!

There were many odd moments that I tried to brush off as people having a bad day but they were having a bad day every time I stepped in that location. It is not a professional setting. It is run more like a bunch of guys in an unclean shop where they just do and say what they want. On the service side, I was charged a diagnostic fee twice and they kept my car multiple days without letting me know what work they were doing or giving an estimate of what it would cost. They ordered parts twice without telling me and i had to call multiple times to ask for updates. I would then get one answer but when I would go in person, I would get a different answer. You cannot pick up your car until you pay in full and they charge what they want. As soon as I got my car back, the engine light was back on. My car broke down a week later, they had it for a week, $900 paid. There is so much more to my experience but I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews. I just don't want any other person having to experience this. They may have been good before but cannot provide good service now.
