    Chicken fried steak

Food is excellent. Wife said it was the best chicken fried steak she ever had! Hamburger a 9.5 out of 10. Fast service less than 10 minutes. Hot juicy wonderful meal. Great service from Madison! Decent location comfortable seating. Will visit again!

Henrys is a Bit of a drive from Manor, but we just picked up a brand new ride which calls for a road trip....last round we were coming up from the coast and stopped for lunch and we pleasantly surprised....So breakfast this round was just as good...The service was near perfect...and love the old school vibe from Henrys...lots of locals eat here. Wife went Way off here beaten path with the meat lover plate...she was after the ham steak for sure....all was delicious....I went with the Migas...also amazing...taters were screaming hot and So good....Nice drive and great food...a win in our book.

Amazing experience for lunch on a weekday afternoon! The service is phenomenal. Servers were super kind and attentive. Always asked if we needed more refills! Food was great! Ordered fish tacos with sides of veggies and sweet potato fries!! All were great. Loved the cheese and fish combo. Lots of indoor seating. Very large space with large tables. Simple and clean overall. Reminds me of a large home!

I heard about Henry's from a friend at work and after the high praises, we decided to take the drive to get out of our home town for something new. The curb appeal is cute, right off the Main Street in Lockhart. When we walked in we were greeted even in the peak time of Friday dinner rush. We were able to seat ourselves which fit our needs with two children. Henry's serves breakfast all day! Down home country cooking; I ordered the breakfast platter with potatoes and bacon, my husband ordered the Guacamole Queso Burger, said it was delicious but spicy. My mom got a salad and baked potato and my brother ordered the French Toast Plate and breakfast tacos to go. My brother said the food was a home run! We look forward to eating here again soon.

Service was great, shout out to our waitress Jessica! She knew the menu and had great recommendations! Super friendly and attentive. Food was homemade w love for sure. Had the chicken fried steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, the kids had pancakes.

WELL, BUTTER MY BISCUIT!!! HENRY'S EGG-ACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO START MY DAY!!! (Lockhart Breakfast!!! God Bless Texs!) We (The Villain aka Ray & I), had a hankering for a hearty breakfast! We wanted to start our day off better than yesterday's start! (He doesn't act right when he's hungry! Truthfully, I don't either) I looked up a "Lockhart breakfasts", and found Henry's with great ratings, reviews and they served breakfast all day! Ray aka TV (The Villain) ordered the Meat Lovers Breakfast (see photo) and side of Homemade Biscuits & Gravy! I ordered The Homestyle Breakfast (ONLY $7.29!). The Biscuits are to DIE for! Light Fluffy Buttermilk biscuits, clearly made from scratch! Bacon was thick and perfectly cooked, home fries and eggs were perfectly cooked the only way, I enjoy them. I took a bite of the biscuits and gravy and about jumped out of my chair, it was sooo good!!!! Gravy made from scratch using sausage drippings and tons of sausage! TV's breakfast looked good, (I didn't ask for a bite, I was too busy eating like I had a slit throat!). He demolished his meal (I ain't lying, I demolished mine too!) Our server Shannah (not sure how she spells her name), was as sweet as a Fredericksburg Peach!!! She was welcoming, courteous, smiling and efficient! Thank you, Shannah!!! You can't beat Henry's breakfasts and the prices are so inexpensive, you feel like you're robbing them! I'll definitely be back!!! Ps. I would love a Henry's t-shirt! I wear a women's medium SSDGM, Elaine

The food is usually all pretty good. They don't have lemons which is a bit strange. They serve limes instead.

Love their sweet potato fries. Not impressed with their wait staff or help. Maybe a lack of training? They mess up to go orders frequently.

Does it have a simple yet elevated menu? ALSO YES! First I was like alright dive bar. Then you realize it is an upscale dive bar in a sort. Drinks come out of a cooler filled with ice OR are perfectly crafted in front of you. We started by sharing the recommendation of the DEVILED EGGS (5 pc) with the Korean Chili Crisp. Was a curious as it seems like a dive bar?You betcha. Was it maybe the best deviled eggs I've ever had. Absolutely! Get these for sure! Then we shared the JOJOS "Seasoned Potato Wedges" with Boom Boom Sauce. The crunch and flavor of the potatoes was spot on. The boom boom sauce is house made and has a lovely kick to it. We couldn't eat them all because our next item came... We both had a SMASH BURGER: Double Double, Beef Patties, American Cheese, Boom Boom Sauce on a Potato Roll. I am going to say when I want a smash burger this is what I am thinking of. This is what I want. The only thing, some days I may want just ketchup and not Boom Boom sauce but that is by day and mood only. Damn they did good! I'll be back. I will need to eat all of this again!

The place is small, however, they do have outside seating if need be. This place reminds me somewhat of a Waffle House, in the sense of you walk in, take a seat, and they will get to ya when they get to ya. They do aknowledge ya tho. Friendly too. Decent amount of options available to choose from, including breakfast all day. Depending on when ya go, it could be crowded and noisy, or not bad at all. Definitely a spot where certain locals seem to go on a regular basis. The food was okay. I mean, nothing I'd write home to mama about. Not like a "slap yo mama" type meal. It was edible. And definitely made a turd. We did enjoy it as it was something different for us. And, our waitress was very kind.

Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a very inappropriate interaction with our waitress, an older woman who took our order. While taking our order, she looked at my husband and me, then looked over our children and asked, "Where did you get these kids from?" My husband and I are both very fair-skinned, while our children have darker complexions. The comment was shocking and completely inappropriate. Because my children were hungry and we didn't have time to go elsewhere, we stayed and ate. Later, when I went to pay after my husband had taken the children outside, the waitress brought up my children again. I explained that her comment was rude and inappropriate. She then tried to change what she had said, claiming she was asking which one of us was the biological parent. Not only is that different from what she originally asked, but it still would have been an inappropriate and personal question to ask customers. I left feeling disgusted by how we were treated. No family should have to answer questions or face assumptions about their children while trying to enjoy a meal together. To make matters worse, the restroom had no soap and no toilet paper available. The lack of soap raises concerns about proper handwashing and hygiene practices. This was my first visit, and sadly, it was not the welcoming experience I had hoped for.
