Seeing the incredible before-and-after photos on their Instagram and reading so many glowing reviews gave me confidence that I was making the right choice. From my very first visit, Dr. Ngo took the time to answer all of my questions and reassured me that they would do everything possible to achieve the best result. The final result exceeded all of my expectations. The veneer blends in seamlessly with my natural teeth, and I genuinely find myself smiling so much more now. I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. I had problems with the bridge, pain, and ongoing discomfort, and I had to return to the office multiple times. For a treatment that cost $6,000, I expected to receive professional and consistent care. What was especially frustrating was feeling like I was not being treated by the level of professional I expected for this type of cosmetic dental work. At times, different dental assistants were involved in the process, and I felt that a dentist was only brought in when problems had already developed. The way I was treated toward the end also made me feel like they did not even want me there. Eventually, I had to go to another dental office to have my situation evaluated. I ended up needing additional treatment, including a root canal, and I had to pay additional money out of my own pocket to address the problems I was experiencing. When I complained, they said they couldn't reduce the bill because they had already submitted it to insurance. I'd avoid this place. The first cleaning I had, they finished in 3 minutes. My feeling was they spent so much time trying to sell me on their practice, and giving me a tour, and showing me expensive 3d images of my teeth, that they then rushed my cleaning to get me in/out in a certain time frame. When I went in for my fillings, I told the dentist this and he had them reclean my teeth and said, "she is usually pretty good, sorry."
