I'll start with the first few times I went to Dr. Christensen the visits were pleasant and efficient. Having said this after going to him for years and having had a couple molars crowned by him, one of them all the sudden broke completely in half. This is where it gets sad, he stated the warranty had just ran out a month ago but he would replace it. Little did I know this would come with snickers, eye rolling and belittlement from the staff. They were literally treating me as if I stole money out of their pockets . Also still got charged (btw) Fast forward YEARS later and I need another crown and unfortunately with my grinding I need a dentist that can print the tooth on site. Called and booked with him again do to this. I made the appointment a week ago and yet today Dr. Christensen calls me and starts the conversation with trying to talk me into a root canal somewhere else when he hadn't even seen the tooth. This was all just a deceitful little trick of beating around the bush. After I stated well I can send you pictures he got to his real motive. Apparently years ago the eye rolling staff put in my file I spit in the cup to hard or some made up nonsense. All this over a warranty We have a very, very, large family and no one will be using them again. God bless you all and maybe this will help the staff behave more professionally in the future. Dr. Leo Christensen has been my family's dentist for about almost 10 years. Unfortunately, throughout these years we have had some issues with their staff. We have experienced poor customer service, incorrect billing expenses, and most recently malpractice. Dr. Christensen, performed a regular check up on my father during the first week of October. He addressed some pain that my father had on one of his back molars. Dr. Christensen poorly diagnosed my father's symptoms where it resulted in giving him a severe infection and caused my father to urgently see a Endodontics Specialist. The Endodontics Specialist confirmed that he had a severe infection and treated him right away before matters got worse. My father also mentioned that during his visit with Dr. Christensen he also failed to cover my Dad's Chest with the proper equipment before giving him an X-ray. This malpractice is extremely unprofessional and worrisome being how harmful X-rays can be without the proper protection. I pray to God that my father's awful experience and treatment gets under control. I would not recommend anyone to step a foot in that office unless you're ready to experience the same type of treatment and malpractice. If this issue is not resolved right away with securing my father's health, I will personally seek professional advise from my family lawyer. This type of disappointing malpractice should be addressed immediately and should never occur to anyone, especially when it comes to treating someone's personal hygiene and health. read more

Best Dental practice I've been to!! I had a very painful dental emergency and I was referred by a work colleague. Luckily this practice saw me right away, and was ready to help me to extract the 2 molars, and the 1 wisdom tooth. Thank you Christensen Family! I've been to dentist offices in emergency situations prior to this. I was on antibiotics but still in the past needed to reschedule according to the dentist schedules. This time I was seen and taken care of right away. Also the office is EXTREMELY clean and comfortable!!! They also worked with me on a payment plan. You don't encounter this often with large corporate practices. It sure makes a difference!! To be pain free is very nice!! read more

I was referred to Dr. Christensen but a friend of mine. I was not a patient before but I will most definitely return should the need arise. He met me in his office on Friday to take care of a broken tooth. I was looking for same day service and he delivers! The procedure start to finish was under two hours. That beats 3 weeks to the lab! He's incredibly nice and professional. I would recommend a visit! read more

Dr. Christensen did an excellent job fixing my elderly mother's teeth. She wasn't quite ready for dentures and Dr. Christensen came up with a solid plan that we could afford. Dr. Christensen saw me 4am and I wasn't even his paitient. I was in so much pain and he pulled my impacted wisdom tooth with no problems. The pricing was fair and I left very relieved. a. Leo was very fast and rough with numbing shots, allowed hardly any time for topical to numb and jumped right in jabbing the needle around. I about came out of the chair a couple times! b. Leo was snuffing his nose behind the mask like 1st grader with a cold...please take a break and take care of yourself. c. Leo provided almost no info on steps taken, procedures performed almost like I wasn't there. d. Assistant was terrible at keeping fluids out of my throat, even my gagging and coughing didn't get any action. One time Leo took suction from assistant and did full mouth sweep. Please train your assistant on what to look for and take care of your patient. e. At one point while I'm totally numb, Leo was drilling/grinding in my mouth. I looked up at him and he wasn't even observing his work, he was looking across the room. f. At end, I asked what the rough surface was in my mouth. I'd never experienced that b4, and his reply was "a little blood". That was it, he gave me no care instructions even though it appears he took out most all of the inside gum on this tooth. Feels like I have a huge hole at the bottom of #5 tooth, but it's just the gum is gone. Never have I had that experience...and he didn't explain what had happened. g. Upon checkout, staff said Leo would call me later in the day to see how I was doing...DID NOT CALL! read more

I am a big ole wuss when it comes to going to the dentist but I'd been having some pretty severe tooth pain on and off for a few years and decided it was time to be an adult and get my problem child tooth pulled. I called this morning and they got me in this afternoon. I was at the office for an hour tops -- they took an X-ray, gave me some pain meds, numbed me out, & yanked out my tooth. When I got home I was worried about the pain and soreness I was having so I called the office and Dr Leo assured me that everything was normal. Dr Leo and his staff are ALL incredible and I couldn't be more grateful for their speed and professionalism. Thank you 1000 times over! read more

Dr Christensen is by far the best dentist I've ever encountered. Not to mention a great guy. He takes allot of pride and care in his work and helping his patients. He's done a molar extraction and helped me get through a dry socket from my own causing and has done a root canal in the past 7 days.. VERY affordable and efficient. . . This place is fine for teeth cleaning only but don't let Dr. Christensen work on your teeth! He was filling my back tooth and drilled too far which made my tooth worse. Eventually needed a root canal. He worked on my root canal and drilled into my sinus cavity and flushed it with what tasted like bleach! On the way home, I pulled over 3 times to throw up blood/bleach. I had a bloody nose from all of this too. This was THE WORST experience ever. I eventually had to go see a different doctor to finish my root canal because I was so scared to go back to this doctor. The rest of the staff are very nice and the office is clean but I'll never go back because of my experiences with Dr. Christiansen. read more

I give dr Leo and his staff a 5 star rating. My husband broke his tooth on Christmas Eve and they took us in as an emergency while everywhere else told us they couldn't see us till after the holidays. We walked in and the staff was super friendly, very pleasant people. My only complaint, was when we asked if they had payment plans the lady went back to ask the other staff and came back and told us they could (which was great because of the holidays and we don't have insurance) then after 15 minutes, she told us she was misinformed and couldn't do payment plans. Wow bummer. Even with this little issue I still give them a 5 star rating because the rest of the visit was great. They filled in my husbands chipped tooth and gave him a temporary one while they made him a crown. The lady at the front with the short blonde hair gave us a discount which helped so much!! I am going through the implant process and they have both done a great job of not only taking care of me, but also speeding up the process by a few months. Great staff and an amazing dentist. I found Dr. Christensen by chance, after another dentist office cancelled my appt with out telling me and could not get me in for another 2 month. I had taken the day off work and had to use FSA money before the end of the year. I called Dr. Christensen office and explained what was going on and not only did he get me in he stayed late to finish the work that needed to be done.
