Today I asked for products that were on every end of the store. I asked for advice on fixing my hutch which has cracked wood. I spoke to so many employees and everyone had good advice and actually did service with a smile! It's so refreshing. The store is so easy to navigate. It's clean and well organized. I don't know how the prices compare to a big box store, but I can tell you I'd rather pay a bit more to include helpful service so I don't care if PaulB is more or less costly. The place is a little more difficult to find than I expected and the gps took me no where near the actual location. Thankfully I followed my instincts and used an actual map book to find it. It is in more of a residential neighborhood which I was not expecting. When I did find it. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of stock and the knowledge of the gentleman at the counter. He helped me find what I was looking for at a fair price and I was on my way. I have been telling friends about this since that day. I have even recently called there with a question and I was pleasantly surprised when he determined that I didn't need to spend big money on a machine that I expected to need. He made a recommendation that not only saved my company a large sum of cash but helped us move in the right direction with this current project. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to make a power tool or accessory purchase. I can't speak for the tool services department as I am the one that repairs and maintains our equipment.

I dislike how the store advertises online prices from one location then the price is more at the local store; one of the managers complained about this too and said it's a common question/complaint so it's not just me. My location was auto selected as somewhere in Texas though we're in Carlisle. Sure enough, after selecting Carlisle, the correct local price shows up. To be fair, three stars is "okay" and that's my experience here: it's okay and the few times I've been, they have whatever weird thing I'm looking for.
