This is the chance that if you come in at off hours they are working on equipment and maybe focused on that. They are a smaller operations so the owner wears a number of hats. The hardware at the store has been commented on and for a smaller shop I think they have a great selection. On aspect not commented on was the lessons. The instructors they have on board know what they are doing and can work with everyone from the beginner thru advanced students. These aren't guys who yesterday were giving lessons out of the back of their Mom's apartment but rather are mainly gigging musicians who are augmenting their income via lessons. Most have formal educations in their trade. Final comment is on their repair services. They have in store ability to repair most equipment - none of this drop off you gear only to later find out it was shipped out somewhere to be worked on. You can get real time feedback on where it is at in the repair process. Only slight draw back is they are in demand so they may not be able to turn it around over night. Tone Tailors is the kind of store you'll want to go back to. It's interesting to see the musicians who just hang out there discussing the local music scene.
