When my hair was dried, i got my makeup done and Roxan styled another client. After my makeup was done she styled my hair. She was honest about what would work and not work for my hair as my hair is very long but fine. And she added hair and things to make it look fuller. I left feeling beautiful and my son even called me a princess! It's now Sunday night and my hair is still intact, i don't want to undo it because i love it and have been sleeping with a bonnet and it looks exactly the same ! When I asked her how much it would be with the blow dry she said $85. So the blow dry will be $15. Again I brought my own color, there was no blow dry, no rollers, I left with my hair wet and she looked at me in the face and said $70. Plus I tipped everyone who touched my hair. Safe to say I will not be making this go to salon. I feel like she pulled the $70 number out her ass. If she would've said like $50 ok... but they won't see me again. Everyone that touched my head seemed nice, but it's not worth this price. I legit spend $100 for an hr and half, no styling and I brought my own hair color. These are downtown prices.

This resulted in a total technical failure: my hair was severely over-processed to an unnatural white, leaving my hair dry, brittle, and chemically damaged. The result looks like the product was just slapped on without any technique, foils, or hand-painted blending. You can clearly see that the hair below the line has been stripped down to a flat, hollow white. There is no warmth--just chalky, over-bleached hair that confirms the hair structure was completely compromised. When he showed me the result I asked why he didn't do what I asked for and we agreed to prior to starting the service and he said "Well I decided to do what I thought was better". Furthermore, the environment was unacceptable. Benjamin spent the duration of the appointment micromanaging and controlling other employees, taking phone calls while working, and making highly inappropriate comments. Due to this hostile and unprofessional environment, I did not feel safe or comfortable returning to the salon for a "fix" from their staff. Since the appointment, I have incurred hundreds of dollars in expenses for restorative products, yet my hair remains too damaged to undergo a professional color correction. I have attempted to resolve this directly with the owner, David Mure, but after an initial exchange of emails, Mr. Mure has completely stopped responding and has neglected to return the $561.75 I paid for these failed services. Be incredibly cautious before trusting this salon with your hair or your money.
