Today it seemed like it was a quiet day and there was only one or two other staff despite 2 waiting customers. As in both my experiences the venue appears to be really clean. Not sure what other people are complaining about re: rudeness as it's quick, polite and efficient and also the wax they used was surprisingly super painless... one big caveat: they double dip, and if you're the type that minds then you should pay more for peace of mind. They wore gloves and had a mask on for my lower leg wax. They're experienced with threading but if you have sensitive skin I wouldn't go here-- While I'm totally cool with pain (and even enjoy that during an eyebrow wax/threading) some people would feel having a thread rapidly whisking over their over-eye area would be too tender. They weren't wearing gloves for the threading part but frankly not sure if I've ever seen that or if people would still be as tactile with gloves on. It would have been reassuring to see someone sanitize hands before the threading took place. I deducted a star as the most disappointing part was double-dipping in wax... which higher end salons don't do but at this price point, is common and is a bit of a dice roll on skin health given the monkey pox scares... so I wouldn't trust waxing my pubic area with them.

First, I have not experienced pain from threading in a VERY long time. I have been threading my upperlip and eyebrows consistently every 3-4 weeks for probably 15+ years? This woman seemed like she was mad as hell and my eyebrows and upperlip were to pay. I have cuts on my lip and was tearing up the entire time. Second, she SLAUGHTERED my eyebrows. Went in with super chapped hands and untrimmed nails from a whole month of traveling and neglect; came out with soft hands, neat trims, and shiny happy new nail colors. The nail trimming / cuticle shaping / hand care / etc are done with so much attention to detail and her polish application skills are top-notch :) I'm a perfectionist and you can imagine how happy I get when my nail colors always come out smooth and pretty.
