First time going to Herbal Dispense.. it was amazing! I loved it. I'm generally not a big coffee drinker but I wanted to check this place out. I bought the brown sugar cookie iced coffee. I had it made with almond milk and vanilla cold foam. It was better than what I expected! IMO it's better than Starbucks. I cannot praise Herbal Dispense enough. After seeing the heavily foamed and topped pistachio latte, I had to come try one for myself. Both the workers and the owner were soooo nice to the point of offering to make a new drink if I didn't like the creations I chose (which wasn't the slightest bit necessary). The syrups don't overpower the drink and the toppings also add just the right amount of sweetness. Herbal Dispense has quickly climbed my ranks of best coffee on the island with their innovation in toppings as well as their cozy and clean seating. Another day another cafe! I got the S'mores latte and my girlfriend got the pistachio latte and both were absolutely delicious! This spot is very skilled at making you a sweet drink while making sure it still has that coffee flavor. I've also come before and gotten the tiramisu latte and I heavily recommend that as well. The staff is very friendly and talkative. As far as the atmosphere goes they showcase their Palestinian roots all over the store. If you haven't been here before and don't know that they offer different sizes the owner won't ask you what size you want he'll just decide that you're getting a large so that he can charge you $11 for a drink. Drinks were good but not $11 good. After going there and paying almost $60 for 3 drinks (size was not asked so they all default large without us choosing size) and 2 hummus toasts, I went to look them up on instagram to see that I was blocked by them. What business blocks paying customers? And when asked about it they claimed it must have been an accident. Go try to block someone on instagram and see how many buttons you have to press to block them, you truly cannot do it on accident lol. read more

Friendly halal place with a variety of teas and coffees. The tea menu is extensive . I had Moraccan mint, beautiful not bitter. Next time mint mixed with hibiscus - lovely, and the 3rd time I had a nice full bodied coffee. They make your hot or cold drink to order, and there is only one barista so you will wait a bit, but it is definitely worth the wait. read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this store. I went in with my kids to purchase two coffees and two muffins. Right from the start, the owner was unnecessarily rude and loud, asking if we were going to eat the muffins there and saying he'd give us plates so we "don't make a mess"--even though we hadn't done anything messy. When it came time to pay, I was told to wait, only to be loudly asked across the room, "How are you going to pay for this?" It felt very aggressive and uncalled for. My kids were being calm and respectful, simply throwing away trash, when the owner suddenly shouted at them not to slam the bin. They didn't slam anything--it just made a noise when closing. There was absolutely no reason for the hostility. The service was beyond rude and made what should have been a simple coffee stop very stressful. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values basic courtesy and respectful treatment. Side note : I have come here many times and brought many different people here. Spending at least $30 every time visited. Toxic environment to his workers and customers whatever seems to be troubling him may god help guide him. Not acceptable. read more

Drinks started off at $8 which was already ridiculous but we said why not and let's support a locally owned small business but now the prices have hiked up to over $11 ! What would make an owner think that $11 for a latte is normal? These prices are beyond ridiculous even when you can afford them. I say this with the utmost respect because they seem like really nice people But this establishment has no business taking mobile orders. They are just not equipped for it. They are very popular among young people in the neighborhood and as such, there's always a sizable chunk of people in there. If you combine that with the fact that only one person is there making the drinks and that each drink takes a very long time to make, there's just really no way that you're not going to be waiting an excessive period of time for your mobile order. read more

Terrible service for the high high price they charge. Run tbh! Honestly I really wanted to like the place cause the owners were great but the larger girl with round face they have as a staff is just terrible. She plays the TV and music simultaneously and very loudly. She also kicked us and a few other studiers out of the cafe saying she needs to clean in the middle of the day and just had friends come over and just sat around.
