Tried it again. friends tried it. Instantly makes my throat hurt. Everyone who hits it says sore throat and there's no way it's high in THC. Husband said maybe it's a CBD vape. He's not a stoner and felt nothing. Called to say it seems pretty defective. Aka BUNK. They were super insane and did not care. First call to Boyle heights where I purchased: what sounded like a teen told me, "yeah sorry can't do anything about it ! Oh you are leaving a Bad review? thats ok!" Wish I were that stoned and cheerful, but alas my vape cart is bunk. Call 2: DTLA. They were nice and placed me on hold, the phone hung up after a minute and I could not get anyone to pick up again for the next hour of trying to call back on and off. Call 3: midcity location. A woman picked up and i told her the same story. I was called "ma'am" several times in a sexist and condescending tone. Then I said this is getting annoying. Then I was told I had no reason to be annoyed just because I didn't prefer that strain..... OK-- back up. That is not what I said. The product is defective. Then, She decided to gas light me and ask me if I was sure that it was giving me a sore throat? Was I sure it didn't get me high at all? Was I SURE I didn't just dislike the taste or something? Yes, I am sure. I SAID what I SAID. I relayed then, that I purchased at Boyle heights, called the two other locations prior, and want restitution bc I was sold a bunk vape cart. Then midcity said she would put in a complaint about the person working at Boyle heights!!! -- NO KAREN NO! that's not what I want! Don't get your coworker in trouble!! also, you're way worse. I will not be intimidated and gas-lit and accused of lying while being called "ma'am" in a tone by some sexist female budtender. I am not misrepresenting my dislike/preference for a flavor of vape as an observable defect......in fact it is Traditional who is misrepresenting this 89% THC product that they SELL WITH TAX! Midcity budtendress: I would say, i had A FEW reasons to be annoyed at that point. she said they would not do anything nor would Traditional be accountable in anyway for the products they sell (WITH TAX) -- they said: no store credit, no % off coupon for another purchase, no nothing. Then, she said I could call Dompen the manufacturer / company who makes the vape cart. I said ok great what's the contact? She said she was "too busy working" to get the manufacturer contact info for me, and I should just Google it. I said that's actually your job, and I will hold. Then, she angrily hung up on me. Cool. So, you can spend 7 minutes gas-lighting me on the phone while calling me "ma'am" but can't write down my number and call me back with that info? Please someone Fire this person. Then: Matthew from DTLA called me back. He was actually trying to be cool despite Traditional having a terrible corporate policy. He did a lot of leg work, took my info down, said he Would look into it. WOW, that sounds NORMAL. Thank you, Matthew for taking me seriously. You deserve some keef dipped dollars added to your check. And to Traditional: I say-- what is wrong with you? Horrifying business practices. Poor training. Zero quality control. Zero accountability. They charge like a legal weed store but run their place like a speakeasy Corner store selling bunk weed with dgafs. Actually, a speakeasy would probably have given me a refund for my bunk cart! In CA, we cannot legally return alcohol for a refund. But it is taxed. HOWEVER, if I go to my local wine store and I say this wine has no alcohol and gave me a tummy ache....they don't go -- "hey MA'AM, that's too bad, But we don't make the wine, we just recommend it, select it, buy it wholesale, and sell it to the public at a mark-up and we actually have no accountability." They def don't say, "Maybe you are lying and just didn't like the flavor? Oh you insist you are not lying?-- Hey, ma'am, calm down! -- you can call the winery/vineyard, but we are too busy to give you their info, so just f'n google it cuz we dgaf." The lot is hard to maneuver in & out of, but if it's not busy it's not too bad. Sometimes I just park on the street in the paid meter spots to avoid the hassle. They have great sales on the weekend, currently on my favorite brand Dime so I like stopping by for an amazing vape. Their normal non-sale prices are good, too! Better than a couple other stores I am a regular at so combine that with the sales and you're golden. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly here, love the vibes. They almost always have a line but they are super quick about getting to everyone. Some of the friendliest staff at cannabis shops around! Love Off The Charts and I will definitely be back!

I have not spoken with them at all since 2020 and when I called the store, some of them said the texts were not really them, and other people there said oh yes, they were really from them/their promotions department. The texts come from different phone numbers in the same week so there is no way to block them. Totally scuzzy. (And obviously, texting STOP didn't work.) Either way, the texts go on for years, and if they don't try to solve this and stop the scam (if it is a scam), who will? I certainly never plan to purchase anything from Off the Charts if they can't clean this up.
