Attention Summerlin and Spring Valley workers who get off work after 11pm, as all the grocery stores are closed!!! This market is outstanding! They just upgraded to a full fledge grocery store with prices comparable or less!! I'm so impressed since the last time I shopped. They have added more of everything. I found items not sold in chain grocery stores. And lots of pet supplies, frozen shrimp, ice cream, speciality cheeses and meats, etc. I was so happy shopping I did a full shop! I didn't have my phone to snap photos, I promise I will next time. Highly Recommend for all your grocery needs, especially late at night! Vegas used to be a 24-hr town and now all the supermarkets in the area close by 10 or 11. Thankfully, Herbst Market stays open 24 hours. This is like a hybrid of a mini-grocery store and a gas station convenience store. You might not find all the items you want but they definitely have a larger selection than a gas station. Unfortunately, customer service is similar to that of a gas station as well. read more

I generally get my gas at Costco but I was given a gift card for use at Chevron and I stopped here on my way to the Strip. The cost is about 25 cents higher than I normally pay so it wouldn't be my first choice for gas. I was inside long enough to see what they did to renovate the Fresh & Easy store that was here into the Herbst Market. The gaming area is directly in front of you when you walk in. I went to the left to the counter and asked the attendant how to use the gift card. She politely explained, I pumped my gas, and I was on my way. This might be a quick place to stop in a pinch if you needed something and you weren't near a 24 hour grocery. I wasn't there long enough to see what they have nor to check prices. read more

I moved in this area a year ago and after work I always stop by- 3-4 times a week. At first the employees were great. Now the last 4 months it's just been hire and fire, employees fighting in front of the customers or walking out cause no one gets along. One time I was literally being checked out and one of cashiers were cursing the others out. Like what the hell is going on. read more

Been shopping here since they first converted this location from a Fresh & Easy market. The service has always been on the slow side, but the employee's have always been friendly. I normally stop in 3 to 4 times a week to buy beer and snacks for my friends and myself, normally spending between $20-$25. Tonight I stopped in and spent $40.37. The Filipina cashier was extremely rude. She has never been friendly in the past, but tonight she was outright rude. From now on, I'll be picking up my beer at the 7-eleven farther down Fort Apache. The prices are slightly higher, but I don't have to deal with rude employees. read more

I really like this place. We moved to The Lakes last Summer and every since this has been our go-to spot almost daily for drinks, snacks, gas, and whatever else. They have an awesome selection of food- it's much more like a small grocery store than just a convenience store. There's even a nice selection of prepared food like sandwiches, salads, and pastas, although I would love it if they had some sushi rolls. There's also an awesome beer, wine, and even liquor selection. All the cashiers are super friendly here too. The only thing is sometimes the line to check out takes a while so that can be a pain. But I definitely love this store and come here very regularly. read more

BEWARE OF BEES I've gone to this location twice in the past week to get gas. Both times I was literally chased away by bees. They're in the trashcan next to the pump. The first time I encountered the bees, I wasn't even able to get gas. There were several swarming the immediate area. I was terrified they'd sting me and or get in my car. I had to get in my car from the passenger side and leave without getting gas. Today I chose a different pump thinking that maybe my first run in with the bees was a one off thing, but that was not the case. Once again, I literally had to run away from the bees. I looked like a crazy person running around trying to get away from them. One got in my car today so I had to wait for it to fly out. Then I quickly closed the driver side door and ran around to other side of my car to get in the passenger side to escape them. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE! After the second incident this morning, I attempted to call them to alert them of the bee infestation, but no one answered. So I'm leaving this review to warn people please be careful. The market and the gas station are actually pretty nice, but given the current bee infestation, I cannot recommend this place. I'm happy to update my review once the issue has been resolved. read more

I have only been there during overnight hours and have yet to find an employee who isn't goofing off and doesn't even bother greeting anyone. The ones I've dealt with were either stoned or just didn't care. So slow even with a line and they don't even know what they carry in the store. I know its hard to find good employees but at least get someone who isn't stoned, talking on their phone etc read more

Not sure if saw my review or not but it seems like something changed. The prices are now ringing up as they are marked. btw - they changed the marked prices to the higher price, so it's also more expensive. On another note, it takes forever to checkout in this place, even with two registers open. It's a bright, clean and safe'ish (other than a clerk was murdered there last year, but it was a domestic situation) place with pricey gas and more groceries than your average convenience store. read more

I actually love this place. It's 24 hours and it is a huge gas station and a grocery store in one. They also have slot machines and fountain bevs and groceries. I was shocked to see how big it was inside and how much grocery items they have. I love that its 24 hours because Vegas has no more 24 hour grocery stores. This place is perfect when your looking for a midnight snack! I don't come here often but when I need something it's so helpful! read more

The worst place to conduct business. I have given this place several chances. Staff is worthless don't know anything, rude and don't care about customers. The previous experience I had here before today which will be my last. Was the cashier was so doped up on heroin that he scanned my items multiple times and after telling him this he proceeded to tell me that I was to pay $18.00 for 3 1.99 items. I gave up and conducted business elsewhere. I emailed the complaint department for terrible herbst. With no response. Today they did not have my item I was attempting to purchase after standing in line for almost 10 minutes while they helped two people in that period of time one on each register. This store lives up to it's name Terrible. read more

This little market is convenient if you are at the gas station and need to grab a few items but other than that, it is not my first choice to shop. I stopped by this place for that exact reason - simply because I was passing by. I turned away from the market once I got to the cash register because the lines were very long and I only had a couple of snacks. I decided to take my business somewhere else because they were not moving anytime soon. I have to say the selection inside was not very big. read more

I've been shopping at this location every day since last November, before work after work and on my days off . That will not be happening anymore as I found out blast night that the lady behind the counter doesn't agree with my purchase decisions. At least that's what it felt like as she SLAMMED my chips into the counter then SLAMMED my cookies on top of the chips, crumpeled up my change SHOVED it into my hand and then proceeded to SLAM my chips again as she was putting them in the bag and ones again SLAMMED my cookies on top of the bag of chips. She hen said in a foul tone. "I NEED TO GO CLEAN THE BATHROOMS". Ill spend my money at 7-11 or she'll on the same street.. they are atlest nice to me. read more

Their summer 60 cent unleaded per gallon gas is for the birds. They lure people from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday at different locations to get people there. When they get their limit of customers, they turn away customers and piss them off. Bad for business. read more

The old man that works here is slower than hell. I didn't even get what I came for because I was in line for 15 minutes (I timed it) & he was helping the same two dudes the whole time while other employees just watched & stood around. Weird place...lots of open space inside, and stuff that is more expensive than most other places (and doesn't look to be of high quality). I guess it's a super-sized quick-mart. The employees are friendly--two of them greeted me while I was in there. But I can't imagine ever going back. read more

Terrible service. Had an employee behind the register just look at me like I didn't need service, turn around and started counting his cigarettes. An employee from way in back of the store walked up to me and finally asked if I needed help. No wonder they are called terrible Herbst read more

It's sad that I have to post this. Truly sad. I come here nearly every day and I've adored the fact that this place has decent selection of most anything I need, especially since the smiths I go to is no longer 24 hours and I tend to do most of my shopping late night as I get out of work late but the last couple of times I have come in have been... stressful. I don't drive and so I take a lyft from work to this market to pick up what I need and then walk home. The last couple of times literally as I am being dropped off a female security guard has not only shooed my lyft away as I'm stepping out but has berated me into shooing them away too. She barely gives me any time to get out! I told her that from now on I will be dropped off at Walgreens but she for whatever reason insists I do not do that so now I am considering going to a different gas station further away just to avoid any possible conflict with her. I have had to overtip my lyft drivers due to the embarrassment. I'm not sure what else to do except avoid this station from now on. I used to recommend it but now? Why? I'll more than likely be going up the street from now on. I only posted 2 stars because all of the other graveyard employees are amazing and lovely. read more
