One of my favorite cafés here in Las Vegas. I understand that it gets incredibly busy, and the long lines are not the reason I'm leaving a one-star review. Unfortunately, the last three times I've visited, they've been sold out of the Peach Breeze. I completely understand that items sell out--that's no one's fault. My frustration is that there's no sign or indication letting customers know before waiting in line. The lines here are realistically not short, so waiting 15+ minutes only to get to the register and find out the drink is sold out is frustrating. After this happening three separate times, it would be really helpful to simply put up a "Peach Breeze -- Sold Out" sign so customers know before committing to the wait. Still love the café, but I really hope they improve the communication around sold-out items! read more

Okay, they redeemed themselves! The Coconut Coffee is an incredible afternoon pick-me-up--creamy, delicious, and exactly what you want on a hot day. As-is it's a little too sweet for me, so I have them add an extra shot of coffee (no extra charge) and it's perfect. Especially with the heat wave we've been dealing with the last few weeks. Service is fantastic, as expected. They always make your drink, have you try it, and then walk you over to the register to pay. Inside it's a dark, cool coffee café--the perfect escape from the heat. There's usually a line, so if you show up at peak hours, be prepared to wait. Parking is limited and kind of sucks, so bring patience--it goes a long way. read more

Hot spot for all the locals, and not apparently. The line was consistently at the entrance. The place isn't small either so it wrapped around the wall. Anytime I see phin in the name or a drink available at the establishment, I know that's where I need to get coffee from. That was the draw, period. Cutest uniform equipped with the newsboy hats and everything. Button up, vest... uniforms or just any nice get-up and I am highly amused. Sometimes it's in the details that makes everything come together. Presentation from looks, ambience, set the tone. Drinks did not disappoint. Service was spot on too. They have you try your drink in a sample cup to be sure it's made exactly to your liking. From the outside it looked like either this was a new location or the area was still being developed. Building materials packed up nearby, still neat but obvious. But as soon as you step inside it's like none of that even existed. Parking looks like it could be a bit tricky especially seeing how packed they were. Could be an great place to chill but finding a spot would not be the easiest. It didn't appear to be that busy from the outside, but there was a long line inside. Luckily, the line moved by quickly. It's interesting that you inform a staff member what you would like to order, wait for them to get your order out to you and then pay. It was nice as the employee helping us wanted to ensure we liked our drink before we paid for it. So, once our drinks were made, she let us try it and asked if any changes needed to be made before we decided to pay. I ordered the Lavender Matcha Latte, and my boyfriend got the Caphe Sua Da Phin Style. Both drinks were pretty solid. No complaints. I would come back again to try more of their drinks if I was in Las Vegas again. The inside is pretty spacious. Lots of different forms of seating available. Delicious Asian twists on coffees and matchas!! Be warned there is always long line but the line goes by pretty fast and service is great too. I got the Taiwanese sea salt coffee which was really good!! It was still really strong tasting and the sweet-salty cream cap to it added an extra oomph to it. I tried my friends strawberry matcha latte and ca phe bru lee which were really good as well! For first timers, they allow you to try the drink first and if you don't like, you can switch to something else which is nice. Came on a Friday. As per other reviews. Parking lot is small come with a friend one person jump in line while other person try's to park. Do not park at Arco your car will get towed expeditiously. We did see after leaving people parking opposite of Arco in a small rectangle lot but don't know, gray area lol. Line wrapped around the coffee shop, but went decently fast. Nicely decorated and bright, lots of seating areas. The person who took our order explained everything to us, and they create the drink, and get your approval before they charge you. Great idea. I just realized I've been gatekeeping this place. This place out of the 100's of coffee shops in town, is the best coffee no one is coming close. My greedy self thought people are finding out, and parking sucks already there - therefore shut up and don't spread if. Well now thinking about it, I can't do it anymore I got too much love for this place. We come at least once a week, parking can still suck but just be patient (don't even think about parking at AMPM), lines inside can be intimidating but they do a good job pushing through while delivering the nicest possible service..like who ask each customer "have you tried this before? If you haven't they let you try it and remake it if you don't like it" like whaaaat?! And the drinks every single one a knock out. My ranking from favoritest: Coconut Coffee - blended, creamy strong coffee and the perfect about of sweetness. Javacado - very creamy avocado mixing it with Phin coffee is insanely addicting. Cafe Brûlée- Phin coffee with egg, ridiculously good also ridiculously strong. Vanilla Cold Brew - Simple but not plan, when you want no frills but still want the finest. Banana coffee - this is the OG drink that brought me to Phin and made me a monster. The balance of coffee and banana is beautifully done (I'd suggest adding shot). He said he would make our drinks and call us over when they were ready to taste before we paid for them. I have never experienced that before in any coffee shop and was blown away. He made our drinks very quick, they looked amazing and tasted perfect on the first try. My banana coffee is not overtly strong and could definitely taste the banana in the milk. The strawberry matcha was very strawberry forward, if you like sweeter tasting more mellow matcha then this is definitely the place for you. My friends and I came in on a Saturday afternoon and there wasn't a line. You order with the people at the counter and then pay once you get your drink at the end. Servers were nice and recommended me what drinks to get based on the flavors I told him I like. I got the strawberry matcha and it was personally the right mix of strawberry and matcha flavor. Employees are so nice and there's a good amount of seating space (though a good amount of people working/reading too). The best part? If you've never been before or it's your first time trying a drink on their menu, you can have it remade/changed/adjusted to your taste preferences BEFORE paying for the drink. We live in southern CA and down the street from the original Phin Smith location in Orange County but my BIL was craving for Vietnamese coffee on the drive to Vegas and decided to check out this location. We got the caphe brûlée which is an egg coffee. They will ask you if you want it Saigon or Hanoi style. Meaning condense milk for Saigon style or black for Hanoi style. We went with Saigon style for the sweet and creaminess. Prior to this, we had already stopped at an American coffee shop. The more I try different coffee, Vietnamese coffee is just the best. The coffee at Phin is strong, bold, Smokey nutty, bitter taste just how I like it. This location is huge with many tables compared to the OC location. They offer unique flavors like peanut butter coffee which I have never seen before. Banana coffee and avocado coffee is another specialty. I was expecting more bite-sized chocolate chips sprinkled on, but it appeared to be a syrup in the bottom - hard to avoid on first sips and very strong and sweet! Outside of the drinks, Phin Smith has many tables for lounging around as well as to get work done; several people can be see working on their laptops here.
