Back Savers showed up with so many movers I almost lost count. 6 or 7 of the most clean cut, uniform wearing gentleman. They got to work right away helping me finish wrapping up odds and ends. I opted to provide the boxes and supplies needed for the move but I noticed that they did have extra supplies to wrap the couches etc. We are having to get the crew to come back out again tomorrow because I needed more storage. If I did have the extra storage space today they could have easily finished up today. These people are serious about getting the job done. On the second day of the move, a friend met the movers at the new home to receive my items as I was at work. I come home to find my remaining items tossed in the garage like a trash pile. Fragile items on the bottom, boxes bursting open and the straw was that my son's large iron basketball post was tossed at the very top of the items. When I reached out to Sean, he replied "I'm sorry about the basketball hoop" and went on to blame it on his partner and said they made an assumption to ensure that there was space for parking. The movers seemed to rush when it was time to unload the truck, leading to them breaking things and handling items carelessly. They were an hour and a half late for the move. When they reassembled my daughter's bed, they did so improperly, leaving it badly scratched as if they had dragged it across the ground. In addition, they caused considerable damage to the walls of my newly built home. When I brought this up to the owner, he suggested that I use a magic eraser to fix it--unbelievable! They also damaged my glass dresser, which cost $2,700. Although the owner came to fix it, one of the drawers no longer stays closed. They broke my daughter's wooden dollhouse, seemingly out of laziness, and even damaged the screws on my dining room table, claiming it was just too heavy. The more I unpack, the more frustrated I become, especially since the move was quite expensive. In 2023, I paid $1,700, but in 2025, Carl offered me a discount due to the damage they caused and I ended up paying $1,170. My things arrived broken, torn and just a mess (I have pictures). The packers/loaders did not secure the goods so they bounced around in the truck. They did not use packing paper for my TV so it was broken, chair was torn, etc. I contacted the owner and provided pictures, but he took no responsibility. I asked that he at least refund me the tip and he didn't even do that. I trusted this company and I'm telling you use them at your own risk. It was a freaking mess I wish there was a way to leave zero starts.
