BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT use Bobadilla's moving company. The movers stole my wedding ring that I had over 24 years and 4 of my husband's watches. These items were in places that they should not have touched. Also, we were promised 4 movers, one left after a few hours and the total move time was 5 hours over estimated. Irvin, the manager, acted like I was making this up and did not believe me. He said he trusted his guys - one of whom was wearing an prison system ankle monitor. His quote was "Everyone tries to blame us for everything missing". During the move, I bought the men all lunch, tipped each mover, and gave one a leather sofa. Then I discovered that night they had stolen those items. We were violated. I'm writing this so others don't go through what we did. I'm not able to hand down my ring to my daughter now. A police report has been filed and an investigation is under way. We did use this company many years ago when it was just starting out with a small family. We were happy to support a new small business back then. It is no longer this way and there is definitely major issues. read more

Wow!! Totally not true about the signing a contract and purchasing insurance. I wish I could see the movers in their face in front of my family to ask if they discussed anything about the insurance, contract, or previous damage to my table. Karma is something else , you are not being truthful nor are your workers. A day was set to come to the home but not a time. Usually professionals confirm the appt and not just show up. We do work. My daughter was home but was unaware she needed to open the door for anyone. My table was new, no damage. They damaged my table. I am taking this issue to court. No worries. World if you choose to use this company it's on you. The comment made by them is not true. It's sad because I was very nice to the young men throughout the entire move. Even after they damaged my table. I tipped all 3 of them 20.00 a piece. Honesty goes a long way.. it's truly sad.. at the end of the move is when victor brought out a contract and discussed insurance. Which is so illegal. I had him write on the contract that they damaged my table. I decided to take this issue to court because I paid these people cash, 516 dollars and tipped them. They are being very defensive and dishonest and I don't appreciate it. I chose this company off of good faith. Fast talking me, talking over me, and just rude after the fact. It's just not fair. I recently employed this company for a move. During the move, the movers damaged (actually broke) an expensive chair. The move was arranged in a rush because of Bobadillas' availability, so I was presented with a contract on the morning of the move. There was no explanation of insurance provisions. The repair to the chair is nearly $800.00. Because I failed to check "insurance" on the contract (I didn't see it and it was not explained), Bobadillas refuses to accept responsibility for breaking the chair or to cover the cost of repair. I consider this to be unethical behavior. If you choose to use this company, be sure to understand the contract in detail. read more

The Bobadilla team was exceptional - they allowed us to split delivery locations relatively last minute and did so in the most accommodating manner. Upon delivering to the final destination, they were professional, courteous, expedient, and full-service. They cleaned up after unpacking the furniture and placing it precisely where we wanted it to be - even went as far as to close the garage behind them. I recently used Bobadilla's to move the contents of a condo into a storage unit. I'll start with the good things - they showed up on time, were fast, and seemingly careful with my stuff. There were no surprises when it came to pricing. However, when I returned to my storage unit for the first time since that move (about three weeks later) I realized that they had stacked many of my boxes on their sides. These were boxes with clearly marked tops and also labeled fragile. One stack was placed half-resting on a table, leaning into a sofa but with half of the bottom box unsupported, and it had burst open. I was planning on using Bobadilla's to move my stuff out of storage in the near future, but I won't use movers who can't even grasp the concept of moving and placing boxes top-side up. read more

I used Bobadilla's twice - to move to storage and then across country. They have excellent service. They shrink wrapped all furniture and then wrapped in blankdents. Nothing was broken. They worke very efficiently and know what they are doing. I highly recommend. At a stressful time, I don't have to worry about moving my personal belongings. Could not be happier with Bobadillas Moving! The owner, Alberto, is incredibly prompt to reply by email/phone when scheduling and confirming move dates. We had one crew (three guys) load our PODS in December and another set of three unload them at our new house this month (February 2021). Both crews took great care of all furniture, boxes, etc and were strong/hard workers. Nothing damaged or broken, yay! Jamar, Santi and Kyle were rockstars and unloaded two fully packed PODS in under three hours. They were energetic, happy and fun to have around while moving into our new house. Bobadillas offered great rates for packing/unloading our PODS. I know they do full-service packing and moving as well and have heard good things from friends who used them for this. I will highly recommend Bobadillas to anyone we know moving in the Atlanta area! read more

While in many areas I could give this moving company a higher rating (efficient, punctual, cooperative team), there is one issue which has really troubled me to the point that I would not use them again. The responsibility for this rests with the owner. When we engaged their services, we purchased insurance in case any repairs were needed. For the most part there was only one noticeably damaged piece of furniture which had several areas they needed to repair. It is a heavy two-piece dresser. We moved into an apartment at first, and I noticed right away that there were several damaged areas. We took pictures and sent them to the owner. He asked that we wait until the dresser was moved to our new home for the repair. That seemed reasonable. When we moved into the house, one of the movers tried to argue that some of the damage was from before, and I assured him that wasn't the case. I have pictures to prove it. We texted the owner several times, and he kept saying he would send someone. No one has called or come. My husband called him directly, and he said he would get someone to come. That was over a month ago, and he has never called us back. I don't think he intends to fix anything. My husband supervised alot of the placement of the furniture into storage and out, which I feel minimized the chances for damage. I feel the owner has been dishonest, and it is going to cost us to now get the item repaired. I have thought about reporting this failure to repair (for which we had paid insurance) to the Better Business Bureau. As I said, it is a shame that the owner doesn't show the respect that some of his team did. Waiting over 4 months with no results is not good business practice. read more
