I would be leery of anyone who can''t even return a call to get paid for an honest day's work. There prices seem are competitive, but sometimes going cheap isn't the best option. Out of the 5 ATL movers I contacted,, they are the only ones who didn't even bother to call me back. I'll be hiring someone else. I'll post a review about that company once the job is done.

This company is very courteous and responsive. They were also very accommodating since my moving…read moredates changed several times. I also had to use them twice, moving from a 3 bedroom home to a storage unit on the 11th, then to the new residence a week later on the 18th. Two guys arrived with a large Uhaul truck. They were 2HRS hours late for both moves. They did disassemble and reassemble some items with their own provided tools and shrink wrapped some items. However they did not reconnect my washer and dryer or reassemble a metal bed frame, which is now missing some bolts and unable to be placed back together. There is now a dent in my dryer. My washer is now off balance due to the rough handling, and will cost $150 to repair. A chunk of wood is missing from my dresser. The clip to hold the hose in place of my vacuum cleaner is broken, making it unusable. Mattress covers were filthy from sliding on the floor. Both moves were 6HRS each. Maybe they'd be best at smaller moves, but I cannot recommend them for larger moves, especially with appliances and larger furniture. I did reach out them about the damages, but they stated that they needed to be notified about ALL damages 24-48hrs after the move. Also don't pay a deposit unless you are certain about the dates because deposits are NON refundable. I would suggest they make these policies clear on their site for future customers.

Before I left the movers for work they were moving things fast and efficiently. Also, I would like to add that movers communication was 10/10 nothing was unclear to me! I appreciated that so much because my anxiety and stress levels were at an all time high. Moving is such a headache for many people and I am grateful I took a chance on this company. One of my items (a lamp) was broken but they told me immediately and I was reimbursed for full value.

The same person stayed in touch as I coordinated with the seller to breakdown and provide the items for pick-up. The team stayed in contact with me on delivery day, coordinated directly with the seller, delivered and assembled everything perfectly. They even recommended a better set-up for the pieces than I originally conceived. They were pleasant and even funny at times. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

TDLR: Company NOT transparent about prices, a tactic typically used by movers who give out lowball…read morebids to get your business, but later hit you with crazy fees never mentioned before unloading the truck - while holding your property hostage - for more money. Refused to give an estimated time to complete despite ability to review a dozen pics of apartment and detailed description of job. When asked for more than just $X per hour, which is all they provided, they "do not tolerate this kind of attitude" (?). I've moved over a dozen times and things never end well with movers who are deliberately vague about pricing and are offended at questions. Of course I didn't hire this company and this review is to help others from making a potentially very costly mistake. BUYER BEWARE!!! I asked for a quote that included est. time to complete, *not* just $X/hr with Y people, based on photos and add'l info. FOUR other companies were able to do provide a professional quote within 24 hours, but not DH&M (also didn't incl. truck, transport, supplies, etc fees which are common but DH&M left out). DH&M apparently believes customers who want more info than $X/hour for Y men are asking too much and don't DESERVE to be one of their customers, lol. They gave $X/hr, nothing else... I specifically stated in my initial request to provide a quote for the job, not just leave me with that kind of quote without an educated guess on hours required to complete job.. They became rude and told me to go elsewhere. I asked the companies for an educated estimate on cost to complete job based on the furniture and other items provided in a Google Photo Album I created from pics of my apartment (with link to pictures) as well as info like : (1) Current location requires going down one flight of stairs, a truck can be backed up to front of apartment building, (2) the destination also requires going down one flight of stairs and according to Google Maps, (3) the distance between pickup and dropoff location was 4.0 miles and estimated to take 10 minutes, etc. Daily Hauling and Moving was the ONLY company that failed to provide a real quote. Question: "Other moving companies able to provide a serious quote, why can't Daily Hauling & Moving do something similar? My guess: Pure laziness, a quality you ABSOLUTELY do not want when a hiring a company that is charging BY THE HOUR. Slower they work, the more you pay. So, it should come as no surprise I refused to hire DH&M since they use underhanded tactics from the beginning (e.g., not quoting any additional fees, when *all* movers have a least a couple). Their lack of truthfulness and honesty up front alone disqualified them from further consideration. The insults were unacceptably unprofessional. Seriously, why would anyone hire Daily Hauling if they can't be honest and forthright from the start? I'm certainly not going to play Russian roulette with my furniture (and belongings) to a mover who isn't transparent about fees and lies in their response to my review that I demanded a flat (guaranteed) price and harassed them. Daily Hauling & Moving is a lazy, family-owned business that won't be around for long unless they start treating customers with respect, work toward earning customers' trust and confidence, and start being more transparent about their pricing. In their reply to this review, for reasons I do not understand, they play the race card. I didn't know (and don't care) if they're black, white, hispanic, Asian, etc. I just a job done right at a fair price. I certainly wouldn't play Russian roulette using DH&M to move my valuables, hoping they'll do the job right and not make a last minute change to the price. I'm sure they've lost other customers with their current attitude towards potential customers, particularly those who try to get a reasonable quote (not a guaranteed price, just an educated guess). I revised this review after reading their deliberately false and misleading reply to my prior version. Hopefully they will read this review and at some point realize they need to change how they conduct business or face an almost certain extinction.

He answered all our questions with no problem at all. We moved our 3 bedroom home with no issues or problems and I had no furniture damaged at all including my antique table and chairs.
