This company deserves 10 stars, they are superb! This was the first time my husband and I ever used movers. They came as a recommendation from a friends of ours. It was the best experience ever!!!!! (Oprah scream). When our move date changed and we thought they would make us pay more....nope! They worked with us, showed up on time and moved like track stars. They are fast, efficient, and really care about your items. If you get a truck that's fine, they come with packing supplies. (Tape, plastic wrap, blankets, and hand trucks) they even had a tool box to break down furniture. I watched in amazement as our two movers lifted boxes and containers on their backs. The brought our Husky Tool chest up 17 stairs like it was nothing, light as air. Our sofas were wrapped up and lifted onto our 26 foot truck with such care. Do yourself a big favor call and book these guys they are so worth you help when moving. I am going to keep singing their praises and recommending them to EVERYBODY!! I DO NOT recommend that you use We Are Family Movers. They packed my household goods for a cross-country move (GA - CA) and they did a terrible job. My things arrived broken, torn and just a mess (I have pictures). The packers/loaders did not secure the goods so they bounced around in the truck. They did not use packing paper for my TV so it was broken, chair was torn, etc. I contacted the owner and provided pictures, but he took no responsibility. I asked that he at least refund me the tip and he didn't even do that. I trusted this company and I'm telling you use them at your own risk. It was a freaking mess I wish there was a way to leave zero starts. read more

We had an emergency, last minute move and this group came through with flying colors! Reasonably priced, got the job done without breaking one thing, professional, experienced Emmy Award winning team! Strongly and highly recommend these good hearted folks!! When it looked like we weren't running on time, they added extra help without charging us. Also, great attitudes from EVERYONE -- they've been working together for a long time and it shows. Moving can be an incredibly stressful time and we were all laughing, throughout the move. Cannot say we have ever experienced that much fun during a difficult time. I'm so sorry to have to do this because the owner was great. However one of the two team members who was used for my move was rude to me, complained a lot and tried to make sure that I was going to tip him before doing what I asked. I even found myself apologizing to him for asking him to do what I am paying them to do. I told the owner and he apologized profusely and said he would talk to the guy. I was going to use them for the second half of my move if this one went well. But every day after the move I remembered another thing that this mover said that he could not do or would not do, as well as several passive aggressive insults he made about my fitness in relation to his. I just can't in good conscious use the company again out of fear that I might get this same guy or someone worse. Sad to say that I suspect that if I was a man or a skinner woman perhaps I may not have been treated this way. All people should be treated with respect and professional courtesy. Period. Very impressed with service recieved. Had never experienced a professional move but was such a smooth experience from beginning to end. Jonathon communicated upfront the options and prior to process, team was prompt in morning (with truck included !!) And worked from start to finish. I did nothing but move off of their way and say where things needed to be placed. Items were covered and were careful with floors. No items harmed during move :). Jonathan responds quickly to messages in almost any form (text, email, yelp you name it). They work with your schedule even if you have to change the time of moving the day of. Charge: $85hr + mileage and additional 'flight' charges First Trip: July 24th, 2019 Number of people: 3 (3 men) Time: 3 1/2 hours total Loading time: 1 hour Distance between destinations: 30 miles (1 hour and 15 minute drive) Start location: 1st level 10x15ft Storage unit End location: 2 story house (1 flight) Second Trip: August 7th, 2019 Number of people: 2 (1 man, 1 Woman) Time: 3 hours total Loading time: 1 hour and 25 minutes Distance: 8 miles (20 minute drive) Start location: 2 story house, (1 flight) End location: 1st level 10x15 Storage unit Third Trip: September 16th, 2019 Number of people: 2 (2 men) Time: 6 hours total Loading time: 2 1/2 hours Distance: Approximately 25 miles, (1 hour and 5 minute drive) Start location: 1st level 10x15 Storage unit End location: 3 Story house (2 flights) Reasons for 1 star rating: Miscommunication between internal staff lead to an inadequate amount of persons being assigned to the job. Movers lack of work ethic and effort lead to a longer pack out time, which resulted in additional transportation time and cost Failure to provide the appropriate level of manpower required to complete the job in an efficient and timely manner. Resulted in cost overrun to me the customer. 6 hours is excessive for a move that previously took 3 - 3 1/2 hours to complete. The costs were inflated due to the inefficiencies in the move. These guys were truly God sends! My mom actually hired them for herself but because we were moving from the same apartment to the same complex, they didn't mind helping me and my roommate out! I was out of town for work and actually had doubts that my sick roommate could handle the move by herself. After a few phone calls to my mom, she reassured me that they'd get it done and actually paid extra for the movers to help me out! Everything was scratch/damage FREE, placed into the desired rooms and done very quickly! They even wrapped some items before transport! These guys are great. We originally booked with one of the bigger, more established moving companies, but learned about We Are Family from a friend who used them. We called and got a much better price quote from We Are Family, and changed our booking. The move happened earlier this week, and they were extremely professional, hard working and responsive -- everything they did demonstrated they have plenty of professional experience. I'm always nervous to hire professionals for this type of move but I chose We are family and was relieved from the beginning! They were prompt, and took care of each and every piece of furniture we had. We had 2 men and a truck, they moved the furniture like it was their own, wrapping every piece. They made sure not to scratch walls or floors they even put down mats and pads all though the house to ensure they didn't strain carpet or scratch floors. 10/10.
