(Tape, plastic wrap, blankets, and hand trucks) they even had a tool box to break down furniture. I watched in amazement as our two movers lifted boxes and containers on their backs. I asked that he at least refund me the tip and he didn't even do that. I trusted this company and I'm telling you use them at your own risk. It was a freaking mess I wish there was a way to leave zero starts.

I had to tell the person who called (he spoke ENGLISH) that I cancelled weeks ago. He seemed disoriented and clearly not organized. "Prohands?" More like "NO HANDS" LOL Coincidentally, I speak Spanish, among other languages so that whole thing was lame begining to end. Translation (for the woman who said "No English" and hung up on me ...LOL) Qué raro... I contacted him yesterday saying I had everything (including 2 box springs and mattresses) and he said he'd be here at 10:00 today. Sure enough, 10:00 on the dot the doorbell rang. 45 minutes later Oscar had everything out of the house and loaded onto his trailer! Very reasonable, very courteous and quick! AWFUL, TERRIBLE, NIGHTMARIE,DESTRUCTIVE, DREADFUL, FRAUDLENT, THIEVERY, Absolutely the WORST mover EVER. This man moved me in 1/2014. Ronnie Aikens agreed to move my 4 bedroom household to another state. I gave him access to view the amount of items in storage on several occasions. I talked to Ronnie over several months, had a contract, called references. had indepth conversations regarding the expectations for several months. On the day of the move he was late to the storage unit complaining about the weather. He did not have a two man crew that I had paid for, he had not supplies as a mover. he arrived at the storage unit late in which specific items were being given to my church charity. He did not have the items ready to be picked up. He then was there several hours going in and out of the storage unit and loading things and leaving. As I called him throughout the day he did not response. The last time I spoke to Ronnie was Friday 8:30 am in the morning, he was suppose to be at my home Friday at 5:00pm. I waited and waited. Ronnie called me at 10:30 pm and gave some lame excuse he was still in Atlanta. So not only was he late but he had not even left the state. He said he would be here in a couple of hours. I had to pay someone else to help him move my items into my house. When he opened the truck the items were toss like trash. Clothes were all over the truck, paper were loose. Well, the next morning, I was told that Ronnie was at the storage unit all night, I now know he was going through every box and item. The storage staff called me and said that there were a lot of items in the trash and was he suppose to throw items away. I told them no. he did not know that I was aware of this. Ronnie finally arrived at noon. In a truck at was to small of my items and with no additional driver/mover - 2-man crew that I paid for, literally a truck load of items were stolen/missing, trashed and taken. He remained in he storage unit for hours during the middle of the night with a partner. He was over a day late with my items. The items were thrown in the small truck like trash. After hours of watching him move items toss around and just placing in my house I began to see that there were so many items that were not in a box that was missing (cedar chest, file cabinet (personal papers), large pictures, planters, laundry baskets, heater, standing fan, water hose containers/house, large containers with Christmas decorations, boxes of office files, ... Finally I had to call the police and he admitted to them tha he had gotten rid of my items, However, tha was just the tip of the iceberg, the damage of unending, the storage had to call the police, and make a report with two different police departments. There were hundreds of and I am not exaggerating (furniture, personal items, clothing, households items, office supplies, memorabilia, son's Teddy Ruxbin, Grandmother's cedar chest, planters, Obama pictures, iron planters, lamp shades, exercise weights, designer handbags, jewelry, clothes hamper packed with items, Mexican poncho from mother (deceased), son's baby items, personal papers... Now, as I am trying to celebrate Christmas I see so much stuff is missing, decorations that my son made, decorations from every year. Also, as the media shows us of a celebrity in the media that the public thinks is this nice great person and come to find our that people have had different experience. I am here to tell you that the experience was horrific. As the media has shown us , there are people that we think are kind, worldly, and positive, but then you find out that they have so many ugliest that becomes exposed. Where all along individuals have been saying that there experience with this person was not positive. Once again absolutely the worst nightmare awful horrific experience, there is no way one move can be great and another move police reports, video tapes, reports from witness, BBB, others. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH STARS! Stop scrolling and call Mr. Ronnie right now! I'm a single mom and had to hire a mover to move the big items in our home. I was just getting over an illness that prevented me from moving large/heavy items, and I had never hired a mover before. I called different places and tried online quote options only to be given astronomical prices. I called Aikens moving because of the Yelp reviews, and I see why the ratings are so high! Mr. Ronnie got back with me quickly and worked around my work schedule to come to my home and give me a personalized quote. He patiently went with me through each room and quoted me only what I needed moved. The day of my move, I was so stressed out and felt so helpless because I couldn't help and Mr. Ronnie and Mr. Marcus were so calm and reassuring. I was astounded at all they packed into the truck and in my storage locker! They unhooked my washer and dryer, carefully wrapped my curio cabinet and TV. My 13 year-old son was helping as well, and they were so kind to him and taught him about lifting and how to pack things. They never made him feel like he was bothering them with his chatter! I cannot say enough good things about the team at Aikens. I had a mess of a move with two apartments across town being moved into one truck and the team was so professional and helpful and patient. Even before the move talking with them, they gave advice on things to pick up to make the move easier (ratchet straps not rope!) Their packing job was quick, efficient, well priced, gentle, and everyone on the team was incredibly friendly. I think it was the first ever move I've had without walls dented or scratched, and they managed to move everything out without a mark. I would be leery of anyone who can''t even return a call to get paid for an honest day's work. There prices seem are competitive, but sometimes going cheap isn't the best option. However they did not reconnect my washer and dryer or reassemble a metal bed frame, which is now missing some bolts and unable to be placed back together. There is now a dent in my dryer. My washer is now off balance due to the rough handling, and will cost $150 to repair. A chunk of wood is missing from my dresser. The clip to hold the hose in place of my vacuum cleaner is broken, making it unusable. Mattress covers were filthy from sliding on the floor. Both moves were 6HRS each. Maybe they'd be best at smaller moves, but I cannot recommend them for larger moves, especially with appliances and larger furniture. I did reach out them about the damages, but they stated that they needed to be notified about ALL damages 24-48hrs after the move. Also don't pay a deposit unless you are certain about the dates because deposits are NON refundable. I would suggest they make these policies clear on their site for future customers.

I appreciated that so much because my anxiety and stress levels were at an all time high. Moving is such a headache for many people and I am grateful I took a chance on this company. One of my items (a lamp) was broken but they told me immediately and I was reimbursed for full value.

They didn't screw in any of the parts of the bedframe and just out a mattress on top of it to make it look like it was fully assembled. I reached out to them and they said they would stop by and take a look the following week and I never heard from them again. This was disappointing because they had been amazing all move. Worked hard, communicated well, never complained etc. But Im going to have to throw out a desk and reassemble furniture because they weren't careful
