Something that I have found working with other landscapers is that they don't listen. That simple. There's a lot of nodding and "sure, sure" but they are only half-heartedly hearing us. I have been continually surprised by his ability to repeat our wishes back to us --weeks later-- which builds trust. Another thing we were happy to hear is that he'll do what we want, even if it doesn't make the most sense to him. He recognizes that Momma and I collectively have 70 years of gardening experience between us, and may be coming at a project a little differently than standard landscapers. How refreshing! It gets really hot during the summer months in our area. Chu built a roof extension from the house and added two hanging fans and lights.
