The latte was good, and I'll definitely be back to try that specialty cappuccino. I also ventured out front to Huey Sandwich Shop, a food truck set up on a bed of turf with plenty of seating and a covered awning. Such a cute space! I, however, was anything but cute while eating my sandwich I don't want to speak too soon since this place is still new, but the hot Italian sandwich might be the best sandwich I've had in the Birmingham area so far. The bread, sautéed onions and peppers, and whatever sauce they put on it took it completely over the top. I also love that they're open for Saturday lunch! It's surprisingly hard to find good lunch spots around here on weekends. Can't wait to watch this business grow and flourish!

I like that there's inside and outside seating depending on your vibe. Be prepared to sit in either because they do get busy especially Saturday mornings (we stood in quite the line). The food is good. If I could do a 4.5 star I would simply because there was hair in our burrito, but that's on us for not mentioning it to management. It's worth mentioning that there's a park nearby if you do visit with your kiddos and need something to do after.

Every staff member that I came in contact with was very pleasant. We dine in and we both ordered the cowboy special (2eggs hash browns or grits and toast or biscuit)with a fried pork chop. Oh! The biscuit was large and fluffy and begged for butter and syrup. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Add your own salt if need be. As we prepared to leave I over heard that there was PEACH cobbler and bread pudding. I absolutely had to try the cobbler and it was phenomenal!!!! Homemade crust no shortcuts. Give them a try.

It was crowded as usual. Mostly for take out orders. I was told to select any table and someone would be with me soon. The owner came over to take my order before I found the salmon patties on the menu. I didn't want to hold him up so I ordered what I normally get at WH minus the waffle. My request for extra cream was taken seriously and I so appreciate it. My coffee cup was refilled often and so was the container of cream when it got low! Since there was a line of cars in the drive thru and many customers ahead of me, I wasn't expecting my order so quickly. However, 17 minutes after I placed my order I had a freshly cooked breakfast in front of me. Grits, bacon, over easy eggs, buttered toast and jelly packets. I poured the grits into the platter, eased the eggs onto the steaming hot grits, sprinkled black pepper over the yolks, spreading the jelly over the requested uncut toast and blessed the meal. The yolks oozing over the platter just right told me the eggs weren't overcooked. The bacon was crispy and cooked straight like I preferred. It's quicker to spread jelly over a whole slice of bread rather than 4 cut pieces. When I looked up from eating there was an entire new collection of customers in line to order. The only complaint I had was I forgot to put my Badia brand Chile & Lime seasoning in the car. It's perfect for times like this when the Grits lack salt and needs seasoning without adding sodium. I understand they can't season the pot like I do at home but dang those grits were bland! Even salted butter would have helped! Those little containers of pretend butter products isn't enough. I hate those things. Give me real butter or nothing at all! So even though I ate my breakfast like I hadn't eaten in a week, I still have two compliments. Bland, unsalted grits and the lack of real butter products upon request. Everything else was on point. My toast was actually "toasted" brown and uncut like I asked. My over easy eggs weren't overcooked cooked but the white part was cooked without any brown. The yolks were running like I like. The bacon was cooked on the grill as my eggs. (I see a guy online serving precooked cold bacon that I would send back). It was crispy and straight! The grits although lacking salt, was steaming hot and not lumpy so almost perfect. My coffee cup was refilled as soon as it was emptied as I waited for my breakfast. I didn't have to continue to wait for more cream, because my server heard me when I asked for extra cream before hand. It's small things like that I appreciate. All in all I enjoyed being able to sit and enjoy a meal without my dog in the car running with the AC on. Or me getting a to go order so I'm not concerned about a hot car. I just remembered I hadn't reviewed my previous experience. I'm in the mood for salmon, rice and biscuit so I'm leaving the dog at home and going to have another meal in their dining room!

I've been wanting to try a place like this for the longest time. I've actually never had nutrition…read moredrinks like this before. I came by here with friends yesterday afternoon since we saw they were doing a promotion here for Taylor Swift's "In My Showgirl Era" and thought it was the perfect opportunity to try it out. There are so many options here from both caffeinated to decaffeinated options, loaded teas to protein shakes, it was hard to choose from. I think it would be cool for them to offer something like a flight option where you could try maybe 5 different sample sized servings to experience a lot of what they have to offer. Since it was the afternoon and I am sensitive to caffeine, I could narrow down my choices and stick to the refreshers which were not caffeinated. The staff was very friendly in helping me order, and I really like what they did to the place to promote the event with the decorations and stickers on their drink cups. There are a few chairs here if you wanted to sit and enjoy your drink with friends. I mainly saw people coming in and going out with their orders. I ordered the Watermelon Fresca Refresher drink. It was super pretty. It was a bit powdery to me compared to other refresher drinks I've had. Then I learned it was a protein drink that had shake mix in it. One of the owners recommended a specialty drink for me to try next time. Overall it was a nice experience, and I look forward to trying some of their other options.
