This place is managed by a company in Texas called Ridgeline. The current director of nursing at…read morethis facility is an LPN with no qualifications. Hires incompetent people (mostly friends) that she wouldn't use to care for her own loved ones and then doesn't understand that she is the problem. Refuses to produce care logs, incident reports, or talk to us or show us a care plan. Doesn't make employees wear name tags or titles. So absolutely no accountability. We asked for names and titles of anyone providing direct care to my mil after a serious incident at the facility and we were denied. Called and spoke to regional manager of Ridge line and he said this was non negotiable. He said he would send care logs, but we still haven't seen them. He wasn't concerned in the least about any of this. He told us he didn't think my mil was a good fit for this facility and that he'd waive the 30 day notice. This place is a joke. Not only do they not follow the laws of Ohio they do not follow their own contract. No integrity, no ethics, no morals. Also the five star review you see from Katie K., she is an employee. This place is now called The Ridge at Copley, they changed the name to try and fool people. Hopefully this place is shut down soon and they are all exposed for fraud. Do your research on Ridgeline management and don't use any of their facilities!

RNs, LPNs and aides are well trained and very stable ( not much turnover). Very clean facility . Food was incredible considering other facilities and menus were what seniors would desire: baked chicken, meatloaf, mashed potatoes , soups etc. Tammi, the facility director is excellent. During Mom's final days especially we were so grateful.

A couple time a year I like to have the children from a local private school come and put on concerts and visit with the residents. The facility's beautiful and everyone is extremely nice. I'm sure like any nursing home, it's difficult to find good help and you have turn over. The head nurse is wonderful and Anne in the front is always helpful. I've been there at the end of life for about 5 of the residents and I can attest to the compassion and love they give to the resident and their family.

I have been picking up shifts here through agency for nearly two years. The quality of care the…read moreresidents receive is horrible. They don't have regular staff, it's mostly agency,. This is not assisted living, this is LTC. The memory care unit has 7 hoyers all totally dependent on aide for their care, They have care partners who are clueless to what an aide really does. There are 38 patients on the 200 hall, most are 1 assist but have been labeled independent. The DON, is nasty, standoffish and unprofessional. Their doors are revolving doors, nobody stays. They lie to the families and act involved in their presence, but behind closed doors, they don't give two shits about their loved ones and it shows. The residents had Covid and for days they had no solution to test them, that is until the residents start falling, and had to be sent out. The staff run around all day looking busy, and at the end of the shift nothing was done. No activities for the residents on memory care, there is a patio for each unit and they never take them out to even get a breath of fresh air, never, no bifrthday celebrations for them either, just locked down 24/7. if you're not kissing Jenny's rump, you're nobody. if they fire the DON , and raise the pay, plus hire knowledgeable aides, this would be a great place, but as long as they have her, they'll never have staff, because " SHE IS THE PROBLEM" . They expect you to work 200 hall alone with 38 residents m, because they can only have 4 agency aides in the building at once, becMauser they don't have regular staff, ever. That says a lot. after 2 years, I was DNR because I refused to work the 200 hall alone. Which was fine, becaus, I'd rather that then something happens and I lose my license Trying to care for 38 patients,
