This facility is extremely disorganized regarding medication and pain relief. When my mother…read morearrived at this facility they told us that she could not keep any of her prescriptions in her room so they took all of them. When it was time to check out they did not return any of the prescription medicines to us. I did not realize until we got home. I went to set up my mothers medications that we were never given them. One of the main reasons I didn't realize was I was completely distracted by the fact that they were going to send her home with no pain medicine. The day before she was supposed to get out I asked The nurse about pain relief and would they be sending her home with it or did I need to get it from the local pharmacy and would they be calling it in to the pharmacy. I was assured that they would be calling it into the pharmacy. She was sent home on a Saturday. No one had called the prescription into the pharmacy and they had no intentions of giving us the pain medicine to go home with. They only told me to call her doctor and see if they can call in a prescription. Her doctor is closed on Saturday and Sunday. It took us an extra hour of talking to a lot of different people to be able to take home the pain medicine that they had there at the facility. Now I had to call the facility about getting her prescription medications back because they failed to return those to us. I had to go out of my way back to the facility to pick them up. The following morning my mom said she needed a particular over-the-counter medication and it wasn't in the bag. I had purchased this medication brand new while she was in there. I handed it to a nurse instead of leaving it in my mothers room and asked her if she could give her one when she got out of physical therapy. I was told she would be given one. When I visited the next day my mother said she had never been given one but luckily didn't need it anymore. I had to make a third trip back to get this medication that still was never opened brand new (photo attached) with her name on it. Even though my mother is 95 her mind is crystal clear. She can remember very well. She said one evening they completely forgot to give her her medications. One of those medications includes her blood pressure medicine which is very important. The people keeping track of these medications are not keeping very good track at all. There were many times when my mother who could not get out of bed herself had to wait more than a half an hour after requesting help to the bathroom. When you're 95 1/2 years old it's difficult to wait more than a half an hour after you've requested help to get to the bathroom. As far as the rehab at this facility it's five star. The rehab is amazing here. The people that run the rehab are fantastic. I can't say enough good things about the rehab at this facility. They are wonderful at helping people get back on their feet. But the rest of this facility is one star.

My grandmother passed away on April 1st. In April 2nd, my mom received a phone call in the morning…read morethat my grandmother's belongings had already been packed up without our permission or even letting us know. Mind you, my mom had asked the night my grandmother was passing, how long we had to clean the room out and was told we could "take our time". When we arrived on early afternoon on April 2nd, after having to go to the funeral home, we found my grandmother's belongings piled up out in the open in the lobby, right beside the front door. Any stranger could have touched or rifled through my grandmother's things. It looked as if she had been evicted. It was so beyond horrifying and disrespectful for a grieving family. When we attempted to have a conversation with business manager, Andrew, he was the complete opposite of empathetic or kind. He was condescending and heinous. When I expressed my concerns about the care my grandmother had prior to her death, Andrew responded with "Well then why would you leave her here?" about my elderly, immobile, handicapped grandmother who had passed away the day before. It was disgusting.

My stepfather was in this facility for only a few days and ended up going home (he's on hospice…read morenow). The facility seems incredibly understaffed. I happen to live out of state so I couldn't be there all of the time. He ended up spending only a couple of days in the facility before my mom decided to take him home. It's awful when patients are made to wait for hours at a time to have their urinal emptied or brought to the restroom. My mom had to go help a patient across the hall who had fallen down. He was on the floor for over an hour waiting for a nurse, and my parents were worried about him. Also worth noting they apparently did not have any tanks of oxygen in the whole facility. My mom was able to bring some from home thankfully, but we waited 24 hours without any. The nurses told my mom he would be okay but by the time he was in my mom's car, his oxygen saturation dropped to 84%. Also, the facility originally agreed to help transport him to his radiation and chemo, but couldn't follow through on that. Again, helpful if you can have family there. They were out of top sheets and provided one thin blanket. My mom had to bring that stuff since the nursing facility can't provide such extravagant things. I think it's an okay facility if you can have family there with the patient for several hours every day.

Staff would warn me that other staff would steal out of patients rooms at night , on MULTIPLE occasions other residents with severe dementia who were supposed to have constant supervision would wander down to another wing of the building and into other patients rooms which I can understand you can't have eyes on someone 24/7 but please explain how someone can do that , or why some older man is in my loved ones room at 2am and unable to get help bc NO ONE ANSWERS THE CALL BUTTON, or how I walked into the building with 7 police cars bc a patient crawled out their window and starting walking home and no one noticed for 3 HOURS!!! On another occasion the police were there bc someone was sneaking feteynal into the facility and giving it to a resident. Multiple occasions where staff bullied my loved one and wouldn't respond to their call light, so much so they became suicidal and bc Blossom doesn't want to lose their funding they sent a twenty something year old man into their room to "watch" them all night but did not alert the family of this procedure or protocol and my loved one was absolutely terrified. My loved one is handicap and at the time wheelchair bound, and was no way a danger to themselves but they were just absolutley miserable in this hell hole and would have rather died than stay, this is all just a snip bit of the laundry list of reasons why this place should be SHUT DOWN the elder abuse is DEPLORABLE and to Tashi and all her many alias she uses to write fake refuses because clearly her boss Laura asks her to do so, or maybe not but it's pretty obvious. Here's some advice, find another career path bc you were one of the many staff there that were and continue to be a disgrace to medical professionals. Great place to get bedsores!…read more My father and mother were raked over the coals during COVID by this place - charging him 13,000 a month for care. Robbery. My father required a hoyer lift, and could not go to the bathroom on his own. Unfortunately they left him alone, so long for so often that he developed bedsores from being unable to move, unable to be changed on time. They almost dropped him in the hoyer lift more than once, when my mother, who was staying with him, warned them that if they didn't take more care - she would record them almost dropping him so it was on video. This was just before the right to have a camera in facilities - the manager said that if she tried to record them for them to put him down and deny care. I should have gotten a lawyer, instead I got him out of there. Damage was done, both to the pocket book and bedsores. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Update for Tyler's Response: Thank you for reaching out to me. Unfortunately, I hadn't thought about Yelp and google for leaving a review till now, as my facebook memories of conversations with my father and mother came up again and the strife we had at your establishment. The bedsores he had the rest of his life - because as the skin thins from them the skin is never the same - that he accrued under your care remained till the end of his days. The video that Mom sent me at the time, where the aids put him down when she pulled out her phone to record, ignoring his pleas for care, still is haunting. If you have your ship in order now, that's fine. Good for you, but however, I wouldn't trust your company, recommend your company for anything. When we moved out, we saved almost 6,000 a month from what you charged us a month during the pandemic, where you kept upping the care costs to over 13,000 a month. We moved to somewhere with better care, that was 7,600 a month for his care and for mom to stay with him. I never had my parents calling me, pleading with me before you, nor after you. We suspected this was all reprisal at the time because people thought they had called the Omsbudsman and complained. However, THEY had not, but they sure had thought about it - but were concerned things would get worse. In hindsight, I wish we could have called them immediately when they started to have problems.
