Our relative used to be in independent living. When she went into memory care two years ago, things…read morehave gone downhill. Mind you, independent care wasn't the greatest, but it is very, very difficult to transfer a loved one with dementia to another facility. Therefore, we are still at Heritage Crossing. We have addressed issues with them several times. I had addressed an issue a week and a half ago in regards to my loved one that her room was filthy. Her bedsheets were filthy and they needed washed. The person I addressed this to was River, which is a new memory care director from what I'm told. My husband also was in contact with Rebecca, which is the director. I myself have tried to call corporate several times. You will never be able to get a hold of them. Ever. They make it so that all you can do is leave a message. UNLESS you are looking to sign a family member up at one of their communities then they will talk to you. Fortunately, I was able to get through with Amy who handles the billing and she was getting in contact with Caitlyn who is a vice president up at Corporate. I had to call Amy back today to let her know that I still hadn't heard from Caitlyn. Amy assured me that Caitlyn would call me back that she is very busy. Mind you, Caitlyn was made aware through Amy what my issues were. But Caitlyn is too busy. I gave Caitlyn plenty of time to call me back. Once you are a resident there and you are paying them $7000 a month for memory care, this is what you are subject to. Please see the pictures below. The first picture is blood and urine on my loved ones bedsheets and linens that have been there for at least two weeks. They have not been washed even after I asked. The napkin that you see on the bed is "stuck" to her bed. The picture of the floor and the toilet... that is feces on the floor and on the toilet seat, there is also dried urine. The clothes... They fold them and then they throw them wherever they can in the room, not organized at all. The room is absolutely disgusting. I have several more pictures that I will be sharing online. This is just one instance. I have several instances. I am absolutely at a loss for words and thoroughly disappointed. Not one person... not one has reached out. Instead, it is going to be my responsibility to clean up after my loved one that I paid them for. Beware before you commit to this facility. Talk with a residents family, especially back in memory care that has been there for a while. You should be able to get all aspects of the community. Not just what they tell you to get you in there.

She's been living at GreenView for a months now and is SO VERY happy. This gives us such peace of mind. The other residents & staff were anxious to reach out to her, making her feel at home. The staff is patient, caring and the communication between us is excellent. The facility is immaculate and the food is amazing. The entire facility is maintained beautifully- Warmus construction does a wonderful job. They worked patiently with us to make mom's room just right. The admissions & nursing staff was thoroughly professional and understanding as they had to walk us through the process. The best compliment we can give came from our mom a couple months later when we said to her, "Everyone is so nice here." She replied, "Yes, and they're not just nice when visitors are around, they're nice all the time." We thank God for the entire staff at GreenView who so lovingly and capably care for our mom.

As he had dementia, it was harder for him, but the staff made him feel welcome. They are a MEMORY care facility, so they cater to the dementia patient's unique needs. The director, assistant director and everyone helping my dad were just phenomenal! The building is small (I got a tour before corona), so it felt more intimate, like he was with his family. I wish we could have experienced the facility without this mess, but I am thankful they took such good care of him!

They would have him transferred to a hospital and not even contact me! If you Love your loved one PLEASE don't put them in this place. I want to thank them so much for always keeping me up to date on my mom and especially thru this Covid 19 shutdown of nursing homes. They went out of there way to have my mom call me and then facetime me thru this Covid 19. They would call me once a week to keep me up to date on what was happening and now they have staff set up to allow us to do outside visit with my mom. I want to thank all the Nurses, Staff, Dietary Aides and especially the Nurses Aide who work very hard and are very caring. When I was able to visit her there was never a time that I wasn't thankful on how the staff was treating my mom they are very caring, compassionate and not just to my mom but to all the residents. When I had questions they were always answered or someone got back to me right a way. They are my heroes!!

This facility is mainly for seniors who are not the least bit important to the management…read more Unfortunately, the majority are probably Medicaid residents and therefore the management could care less if they are fed decent food or protecting them from people entering the building through unlocked doors at all times. No one is at the entrance to see who is coming or going. And no one is guarding the side and rear entrances to protect the seniors. They could care less. They know they can just place another Medicaid resident in there to be neglected. We had a friend that lived there and she would meet people there that needed help and she would ask us if we could help them. We are not wealthy, but there is help for all if people would take the time to help. One lady, Angela, invited us into her room to show us that she had no bed, no table, no chairs, no dresser for her clothing. All she had was a blow up bed. My husband and I were able to get her brand new bed with sheets and pillows, a small dining table, chairs, and a dresser for her clothing. As we left her room, she laid down on the bed and said "Thank you God". Now my question is: How could the Regent let her live like that for so long and not do anything about it? Another person who just passed away there recently, had a huge unusable wheelchair that she needed out of her room in order to move around in her new wheelchair. Of course no one there took the time to help her in any way. She had no family that could help her. The only decent people we see who are working there are two young people who clean the rooms. The majority of the employees could care less. God help these seniors. If you have someone who you think needs to live in an assisted living, please think twice about using The Regent in Stow. It is too bad that in this day and age, caring for the elderly is not important at all. If you are able to take care of your family members at home, please do so. I wish I were able to enter a NO stars.

Our dearest Aunt Dorothy was a resident at Visa Veranda for 4 years where she passed away…read morepeacefully this week, following her 99th birthday. She made a choice to stay at Visa Veranda in her final months with the help of hospice. She was lovingly cared for by all of the staff and administrators who treated her like family. This became her community. They also treated us like family and supported us during her transition from this life. The family is so grateful for the care that our aunt received; care that we could not provide, but these wonderful people did. She adored all of the staff, who treated her with dignity until her final breath. We can never thank you enough. The nieces and nephew of Dorothy Johnson

I wish someone would have warned our family to avoid this place. On the surface, it's a beautiful place, but it turns out that it's a horrific residence for seniors. Buyer beware!
