I'm a mother of three boys who were a little nervous about visiting the dentist , because of previous experiences . Heritage Dental changed our opinion . As soon as you walk in you are greeted with smiling faces and super friendly staff that acknowledge you by your first name . The waiting area is so clean and neat with enough of seating for everyone . There are computers to keep the kids busy and a beverage area that offers coffee , cold water , and juice boxes for the kids. There are so many clean exam rooms with T.V.'s on the ceiling to make your visit as comfortable as possible . Modern technology and X-ray machines that will make you feel confident in the doctors and their diagnoses . Everything is classified and organized so immaculately . You can tell that the doctors and staff take great pride in everything they do. Dentist and staff make you feel so comfortable . You can ask any question and you will get an honest answer . No question is too silly . My son had to get four of his wisdom teeth pulled and was worried about not being able to run track . They explained and planned a schedule for healing and gave him a time frame when he could return to sports . Only people who truly care for your health and well being will do that . Brittney is the BEST dental assistant . She's been with us since our very first visit . She is super nice and caring . She always makes sure me and my boys are taken care of and if we need anything , not to hesitate to ask. She talks with us and makes us feel comfortable and welcomed . My boys love her . I moved here from WAY South Houston so I have had to find new everything, including dentist. I found great reviews on this place and decided to give it a go. I had a wisdom tooth that was bothering me so I went in this week for an 11 am appt. When I called to make the appointment I spoke with Ms. Yvonne; she was super! She was very kind and I did not feel like she was rushing to get me off the phone . The place was easy to find, CLEAN, had plenty of parking and smelled so calming with the fall scented candles in the lobby area. I got there about 10 mins bf my appointment to fill out paper work. I was immediately greeted and called back within mins of me turning in my paper work. They have several rooms in the back each with full chair and tv set up. I saw Dr. Monica and she told me we could take my wisdom tooth out THAT SAME DAY! I have anxiety and the Dr and dental assistants were so wonderful to me and were very assuring and with in 30 mins I was having my tooth taken out. I had oral sedation and needless to say it worked wonders I do not remember a thing and even now 1 day later I feel very little pain just a tad bit sore. The prices (with insurance) were affordable. I will be taking my family back soon. I had a pleasant experience and that is the 1st time I can ever say that about a dentist appoint ;) ***1 thing that was cool was that they DO NOT WASTE paper...all the forms you fill out bf appointments they had them LAMINATED. You used a sharpie marker to fill them out with. Once they entered in the information into the computer they just wipe them down and reuse...It is a small thing but something I WISH ALL Doctors and Dentist offices did! read more

I had been in the market for a new dentist for my son and I. I received a mailer for Heritage Dental and made an appointment. First impressions are lasting and when I arrived the office was nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and awaiting my check-in. I completed my new patient paperwork, which took very little time and was immediately taken to the back to begin my appointment. I was greeted by a gentleman named Matt, who is a dental assistant to Dr. Nguyen. Matt was very thorough in his assessment and cleaning of my teeth. Matt was so knowledgeable that I initially thought he was the doctor. To my surprise Dr. Nguyen entered the room to go over my x-rays and examine me as well. He is a friendly and professional man who also spent a thorough amount of time with me explaining the x-rays and examination. Jumping back to the first impressions regarding the aesthetics... The patient rooms are very nice. There is a large monitor directly in front of you where the doctor displays your x-rays. There is an additional monitor in the ceiling above the chair that you can enjoy one of your favorite shows on Netflix while the assistant or doctor examines or completes work on your mouth. I enjoyed this distraction. After visiting with Dr. Nguyen and his staff I immediately set up an appointment for my 3yr old son. I'm very certain we have found our new dentist. All in all... I cracked a tooth and exposed a nerve while on vacation which was terrible painful. Immediately after getting back home I started looking for a dentist as my old one had passed away and I had not been to a dentist in 10 years. Heritage Dental was highly rated so I called them and they squeezed me in the same day. I was embarrassed by how long it had been since I had last been to a dentist, but they did not treat me like an idiot (even though I was) for going that long). They took all of the X-rays and after seeing what all was going on formulates a treatment plan and communicated that plan to me very plainly. They performed a root canal on my broken tooth that same day. They were very gentle and it went as well as a root canal can go. Now I am on a treatment program to resolve other little cavities and things that have built up over the years. I would highly recommend Heritage Dental if you are in the Katy area and needing a dentist. Oh and they give cash discounts for those small business owners like me who do not have dental insurance : ) read more

This is i think my second review on Heritage Dental and strongly feel i need to give another review. I had my 4 wisdom tooth extracted last Friday feb 22 2019 at 1pm. Local anaesthesia, felt no pain at all! I was expecting the worse because of all the horror stories out there and videos of people after being completely sedated and with super swollen cheeks. Dr. Monica injected anesthesia, felt a little sting but come on we can all handle a little 3 second sting. I was surprised Dr. Nguyen did everything in one hour; paid and drove home. Throughout the week i felt zero pain (only pain was not eating regular and spicy food), no sweeling or bruising! Today had my followup and everything is healing accordingly, thank God! Highly recommend Heritage Dental. From front desk, all the way to Drs. they are all excellent and their service is top notch. I dont like to do reviews because i am very particular and picky, but this office deserves all the stars! read more

I had a pleasant experience from start to finish. Friday night, my 1 year old filling from castle dental broke while flossing. I called Saturday Morning at 7:02 am and Angela picked up the phone ready to answer all my questions with a great attitude. She scheduled me for the same day. The office is beautiful, if feels like home. TV's , Tablets, Netflix, beverages. I never had this experience before. Matt the hygienist was great, he explained everything I asked in detail. Dr.Nguyen is professional and cool. He did my filling like a sculptor, a true artist in his craft. Lastly , Heritage Dental Katy is a cutting edge office, All their technology is state of the art. I sat in the same chair from start to finish, no walk to a gigantic XRay machine, just a xray gun. I also watched Justice league while in they were doing my filling. Their are TV's on the ceiling too! lol, All in all , this has been my best dental experience ever . Thanks guys! read more

Went for a cleaning and found a new dentist for sure! One kid needed a filking, same day as xcleaning they did it, no come back another day. (he never even felt the shot) Other kid had wisdom teeth pulled and they did such a great job (even with his teeth given them a hard time) he didn't even know the first one had already been pulled! Bottom ones were tough, and impacted sideways.... But they were no match for the DR! ANOTHER son has to get his done and was SO scared says," nope, not gonna happen" After seeing his brothers out come, it has given him such an eas as what to expect and is ok for his turn now. The had a old root canal where the crown, fell off and I ate a peanut that crack my base tooth . After seeing the X-ray I knew they had to pull it. The dentist and assistant was very knowledgeable and explained to me on the procedure. Well during the procedure, my tooth busted, still the dentist was extremely thorough, he had to scrape my tooth out of my jaw. I still am amazed how he was gentle, tooth is removed. I was impressed on his out right concern for me and my well being. I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone in the Katy/ Houston area. If you live in the area, consider yourself lucky. I usually don't write reviews but I thought this place went above and beyond the average dental office. From the time I walked in, I was greeted warmly at the front desk and the atmosphere made me feel welcome and relaxed. I've been anxious and nervous about getting my teeth cleaned because it's been a while since I've had a check up. But Matt the hygienist put me at ease and the ceiling TV was a nice touch for entertainment while my teeth are being cleaned. Dr. Nguyen was kind and friendly throughout the entire visit. Beautiful Office. Warm and welcoming staffs. The staffs are friendly and very accommodating. Unlike other offices, there is no waiting. I have been back twice for treatments and never had to wait even when I came again with my 7 year old son and 6 year old daughter. Everyone in the office treats my family well from offering coffee or drinks to providing us with blankets and neck pillow. I feel like going to a five star resort. I was brand new in town from out of state and had a serious dental emergency. I called Heritage in excruciating pain, and they got me in right away. Although they did not accept my insurance, they offered me the best out of pocket financing option that I could afford, for the services that I needed. Both the front office and back office staff were very friendly. The dental assistant and the doctor were so gentle and supportive during the entire procedure. I just had a cleaning with Danielle and it was great. I hate hate hate getting X-rays because I have a very bad gag reflex - Danielle was AWESOME and made the process so much easier for me. She also gave me tips, tricks and procedures to help my teeth stay healthier- things that no one ever bothered to tell me before. I am 56 yrs old and have had a lot of cleanings over the yrs & Danielle was by far the best hygienist I have ever had - I even asked her to take down my number & let me know if she ever leaves Heritage Dental because I would be willing to follow her anywhere! read more

It is extremely disheartening that I trust Hertiage Dental. Before chosing Hertiage Dental I also receiving treatment from a Periodontist.If was recommended by Mat from Hertiage dental to receive my Dental treatment from Hertiage every three months. Years later my overall health of my gums has not improved, thus Hertiage had to refer me to another Periodontist after recognizing that their treatment plan was sufficient! Very happy I found this Dental practice, everyone is very nice and explain everything from what needs to be done to what can wait a little while. The prices are broken down and there are options for payment. My son and myself have been here so far but now thinking I may be able to use this Dentist and staff for my three year old daughter, I had been looking for a pediatric Dentist before. Both of boys had appointments today, one had four extractions and the other had fillings...both of my boys had a wonderful experience. My experience was great, especially since we are in the covid times. The staff was very welcoming and take all the precautions for both my safety and theirs. I was happy with the way every step of my treatment was explained and done. One thing I was so grateful for is that the doctor umderstood that I have some sensitivity and she did not use the machine to clean on teeth instead she use the manual way. I will be returning in the future as I have been a patient at this office since 2015. read more

Dental spa! Loved every minute there. Doctor was patient and attentive. Staff was well mannered , nice and friendly. Felt like they have known me for years and not 5minutes. And they do pediatric dentistry, definitely changing my children's dentist. Price was reasonable, believe me, I have shopped around for the past 3years. The entire staff is beyond amazing. I have 3 daughters and all were able to be scheduled the same day. Each of the girls were in a different room but they were all within my sight. All of the staff were extremely efficient, knowledgeable, empathetic and had a great sense of humor. None of my girls felt any discomfort or were overly anxious and that is a parenting win!
