His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

I was in a pinch to get my puppy groomed before leaving overseas, and since my usual boarding and…read moregrooming place was fully booked, I decided to give this place a try. I called to check their availability and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Shortly afterward, they called to let me know they could get me in even sooner, and I was thrilled to take the earlier appointment. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owner and then introduced to Ryan, who would be grooming Rocco. She took him back and let me know I'd receive a text when he was ready. When I came to pick him up, Rocco was happily playing in a playpen and having an absolute ball (pun intended!). The staff told me he did great and was a joy to work with. Before heading out, I took a quick look around the store. They have a great selection of organic dog food, treats, toys, and other pet supplies. I couldn't have been happier with Rocco's grooming. He looked fantastic, and the entire staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. It was such a positive experience from start to finish, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I signed up for the VIP treatment, which would have meant my dog would be seen right away, but the person who booked my appointment overbooked the groomer, so I was forced to leave my dog for over 3 hours instead of the 2 - 2-1/2 hours I signed up for. We have been going to this Petco for over 20 years with several different dogs. The previous manager, Paige, was great, but she is out with back surgery. Plus, just try to get help finding the right dog food. I needed Pro Plan Large Breed Adult Chicken and Rice formula, but ended up having to find it myself. We like to support local business whenever we can, but not when the employees are incompetent, unfriendly, and dismissive. Chewy.com is cheaper and delivers to my door for free. KennelWood has a much more customer-friendly staff, and they will be our groomers going forward.

When the groomer was going to be a few minutes late, they texted. Very caring with our anxious rescue Golden and pointed out things that we weren't necessarily aware of with our girl. Did exactly what we needed and asked. Not the cheapest in town, but when you consider that they come to you and do everything in their mobile dog grooming studio, they are very fairly priced.
