My daughter had mono and strep (verified by her dr). I ended up with a large lump on my jaw line by my ear it was silver dollar sized and I felt like total crap I was pretty sure I caught mono from my daughter but went in just in case it wasnt just a swollen lymph node. Dr didnt even test me for mono or strep even after telling her my daughter actively had mono/strep at that time. she told me it was for sure NOT a lymph node and it was probably a absess syst or TUMOR and I needed to go to sutter amadpr for an ultrasound and she would let me know once she got results. Went right over there had it looked at with ultrasound. Was told by the tech "im not a dr but all I see is lymph nodes and nothing else" sutter sent everything over to heritage within a few hours. No call from Dr. Waited a few days and still no call. I called them and they didnt have results back yet. Even though I was told they sent them. I had a small 4 day camping trip planned so I just went on it and by the time I got back thankfully the lump was down significantly. While on my trip I could feel drainage happening in my sinuses. I called again when I got home from my trip and was told "oh yes we just recieved those results today the dr has not had a chance to look yet but she will call you in a couple hours. I knew it was all lies and I had just been swept under the rug and forgotten about. It has now been a month since I went in and guess what....I NEVER GOT A CALL!!! no email no text no voicemail nothing. This idiot had me thinking I had a damn tumor but cant even call me back to tell me im not in fact dying of some horrible cancer? Who does that to someone???? She just knows she screwed up and doesnt wanna face facts. She should have tested me for mono. She still could have sent me to get double check but a mono test should have been number one. And for the love of God dont tell someone you think they have a tumor then ignore them from then on. I thought this place was going to be a good place to to but nope I was so wrong! Can you imagine the stress anxiety and blood pressure issues i could have had if that tech had not said what she did? Shame on heritage health!!!! This is not how people should be treated. Alerted to my wife's and my need for prescription refills well in advance (weeks) on multiple occasions. Three times they lied and said they did send prescription but the pharmacy had absolutely no record of them ever returning their requests. Twice I had to personally show up at Hemmorhage Health to force them to do it in front of me. Staff is incredibly rude and generally obnoxious. Staff Drs. Generally incompetent and they never seem to have records of previous visits. I have never had the number of problems with any doctor's office in all my life. This county deserves much, much better than this joke. read more

I was in absolute shock that the facility did not have an inabulizer for my asthma attack. Their is no excuse for not having such an important device to help asthma patients. It should be mandatory for all Urgent Care Facilities to have such a life saving device for people who are having breathing issues. An inabulizer can save an asthma patients life read more

For those of you who don't want to read a long review,this one is for you. Christine Garvin is a very poor excuse for a Podiatrist. When presented with outside scientific and scholarly facts that an ultrasound is the best by far to evaluate wear of your fat pads (feet), Dr Garvin, with no reason other than her "thought process" , refused to refer me for an ultrasound. Not only is this stupid, it's malpractice. But she might be good at clipping nails. I have no use for such an "incompetent" Dr.... if you want to call her one. She has to be the worst podiatrist, but perhaps this is the best Heritage Health could get. read more

I am double covered through my husband's insurance (Anthem) and my own (United Healthcare). We pay a lot of money for our insurance plans, so when I was told they cannot accept either of my insurances, I'd have to pay out of pocket, I walked out. I would have paid cash because I'm THAT sick and the thought of having to drive to El dorado Hills for urgent care just makes things worse, but the interrogation the minute I walked up to the counter about how I'm going to pay was unbelievable! It's like they're doing everything they can NOT To treat you. Too bad. It Would be nice to have a reputable urgent care in Amador County. read more

Went into a mandatory appointment for my medicine refills. Which has to be done every three months per them. Had a video appointment not a face to face. This was s after they sad I had to bring my father in for a face to face when I was trying to get him him on hospice. Which wasn't possible because his oxygen levels where to low to travel from out of town to them. i was never told that my appointment was going to be a video appointment. Want to see a rheumatoId arthritis doctor was told to call my insurance and find one then they would refer me. This place is a joke! read more

I was truly worried about coming in today, however, it definitely was a great experience. It was busy when I came it, and I expected to wait longer than I did. The service as exceptional. Most of the staff is very nice. But, this place is extremely unorganized. When I first went in the nurse took my blood pressure. She did not know how to do that, even though she had just graduated from nursing school. Told me it was a perfect 120/80. I had taken it right before I came and knew it was not, my BP tends to run on the high side. This was concerning. The second time, I had injured my knee pretty badly, twisted and popped. I also had a shoulder injury which was getting worse. The Nurse practitioner told me I needed an MRI and she said she would put in for the authorization for it. 3 weeks later and no call to make an MRI appt, I found out that it had never been done. After calling them, it was finally put in and was denied because it only said "I had knee pain" not that I had injured it and heard a pop. Which is required for an MRI authorization. She never looked at or even touched my knee. Nothing was put in for my shoulder MRI, which was worse than my knee. She did ask me to raise my arm, which I can't completely do. Needless to say I WOULD NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN. I really don't think they are trained well in either medicine and how to run a medical office. read more

We have had nothing but positive experiences here after needing to go a handful of times in the past couple years. The facility itself is really nice and comfortable, the staff is extremely friendly, and the care has matched what we could expect and hope for from a good urgent care. This location beats others I have gone to for sure. Barely ever a wait in our experience, and definitely beats going to the local ER. read more

Went to this urgent care back in March and I was told by them that they took my insurance and everything was fine. Fast forward to now December just now getting a bill from them over $300 for my visit with a late fee and a notice saying they're going to send to collections if I don't pay it. First time ever receiving anything from them. Called my insurance and was told they are out of network. So now I'm pissed. I've been to this office twice. Very disappointing and careless of the staff. 8 months pregnant and don't need another bill to stress over when I'm about to be off of work during the damn holidays. read more

One star, because everyone besides Dr. HETZNER has given exceptional service. I have been sick for 8 days straight. I finally decided, with the help of my husband, that it was time to come in and get tested for Covid/Flu. This practice does not take blue cross blue shield, so I had to pay $100 out of pocket, which is fine. I had specifically asked Dr. HETZNER for a stronger cough medicine than Robotussin or Mucinex because it hasn't done me any good, and I've only gotten worse in the last 8 days. I was told yes, she would give me something. The nurse came in to give me my paperwork so I could leave, and I asked her what cough meds I was getting and she said guafacine and codeine. Perfect!! I can sleep tonight!!! I get to the pharmacy and was told Dr. HETZNER put in a prescription for Robotussin. I couldn't get ahold of the urgent care on the phone, so I hurried my sick as a dog butt back to the urgent care and was told I'd get a call back before end of day (5PM). 4:50 rolls around and still no call. I called them again and was put on hold for about 6 minutes. Finally, the (very nice) receptionist said the doctor would call me once she's done with her patients and would push the prescription through. Do you think I ever received a call back? Do you think the prescription is in the pharmacy? Absolutely not. And I somewhat expected this. This is how we treat patients?? I work in health care too, and would NEVER promise a patient a call back OR a specific medication and not return their call, let alone not fix an important prescription that a patient needs to help get them better. I am extremely disappointed and would rather spend $1000 to go to the emergency department than ever go here again!!! read more

Walked in and was asked can I help you. I sad yes I'd like to see someone about a sinus infection. " oh you need urgent care?" Yeah we don't have a doctor for another week or so. Typical Amador county. We have an urgent care clinic with two receptionists and no doctors. Not sure why they were even open. I was disappointed but not really surprised so off to Folsom I go.
